I find it interesting that none of the reviews for the business included pedicures. I visited this business on 8/8/26 seeking a pedicure. Selected the $70 one with stones and paraffin etc. I felt this was pricy but the area probably allows it. It is 8/18 today and my feet still look like I didn't receive the pedicure. Lady tech ddnt speak English well. That is ok, But I was sure she understood I did not want gel again. Lady next to us translated my request. Stones were cold, lady warmed them up, and then burned my skin. I asked her to forget them. Kept telling her "no" with my hands. Our translator had left for the evening. This place does the nail polish b4 they do the pedicure. Never heard of that. They claim because of oils. Whatever, that is what alcohol is for. At the end of the service the "manager" insisted I get charged for the gel even if I ddnt ask for it. He said I should have payed attention to the lady's work. How about that.. lady tech confirmed I had asked for no gel. He ignored her. He charged me $90. Seemed desperate. Unbelievably rude of him. I don't live on that side of town. Worst nail experience I've had in a long time I went in to get my nails soaked off and just a clean coat of regular polish on top. The lady doing my nails kept trying to up sale me on gel polish, I was under the impression that it would only be around $10 for gel since I wasn't getting a manicure or designs. When I go up to pay the charge me $20 for the soak off and $25 for 2 layers of clear gel polish. That is ridiculous and honestly horrible business practice they should be letting you know how much extra it would be or at least charging less for something I can do at home. Update: I recommend anyone that needed a nail service stays far away from this place I called last night and tried to get this issue resolved the hung up on me, I went in this morning to seeing someone could help me and the management was so rude to insisted that "if I didn't want the gel shouldn't have put my nails in the light." Horrible customer service I would give this place a zero star if I could. AVOID THIS PLACE, the customer service I just received is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. Was greeted by who I am assuming is the owner, right off he gives the impression of being rude but I explained what happened. He then calls his wife and to make the long story short, whatever was posted at the bottom of this review by them was just a LIE! I was not able to get what was promised as a resolution because of my timing of the review and was questioned why I did not call the salon. Well, I did not expect my nails to start lifting within a week of being done, also spent the past week at home sick. I called him an Asshole which I admit was disrespectful but even before that, he asked me to leave while I was just expressing my disappointment in a calm manner. He then call me an asshole and kept telling me to leave. I will do all that I can to make sure this place does not get any business. If this guy treats a customer like this, I do not want to know how his employees are treated behind the scenes. No wonder they all look so miserable in there. Despite bwing asked numerous times and declining these services, the nail tech proceeded to attempt to give me tips because she "felt" it would look better. I asked to have my nails trimmed short and have all same length and shape. Some were rounded, others squared and she did not cut them to make them all the same length. When I asked why she had not done as asked, she said that she didn't think short nails looked nice and again tried to push me to get tips. She then got the manager to come speak to me and she also tried pressuring me to get tips. I ended up walking out. Super disappointed. My best friend booked a mani pedi for us yesterday at this location because she heard it was really good. They offered us either a glass wine, water or soda while we got our nails done which was a nice touch and something I had not experienced before. However, it wasn't until a few hours later when I looked really good at my nails that I noticed the clear coat was not painted very well at all. Almost all of my nails have an awkward line by the cuticle area and a significant gap in coating which I do not love. When my nails were getting painted I had my head turned talking to my friend so I wasn't paying attention to that detail, but I probably should have. My best friend asked for them to give me the deluxe treatment (that's actually the name of it: Deluxe Mani/Deluxe Pedi) but it doesn't look like it's worth the money spent. The customer service in being polite, accommodating and being clean is why I still gave them 3-stars, but even my toes have the same issue and it's very noticeable to me. read more

However, I have been going for two years and for the past months I've felt like I'm being up charged for similar or smaller services than in the past. My most recent visit I was charged for an extra long length which my nails are not. Nor do they explain this or have this up anywhere or provide notice. Mind you I have been coming for two years and the owner/manager is typically who processes my payments. When I disputed the charge they were rude, gave attitude and in no way tried to solve the issue. This is not the first time it happens with the same man (manager/owner). I literally told her "this is the best manicure I've ever had" she was incredibly detail oriented and she went the extra mile to make sure my acrylics were perfect. Went on for a pedicure. The pedicure was rushed and rough. I inquired about callous removal and was told by technician I needed to upgrade for that service, agreed to upgrade. Scrubbed for a few seconds and told me better. Completed pedicure with warm towels that turned cold while she hung out with the other employees at the front desk, I ended up taking the towels off while I waited for her to come back. Each chair has their own plastic partitions and it was so relaxing. They have soft music playing, some water features... amazing. She also provided a wonderful Dipping powder manicure. In reply to your owners response, my review was 11 days after getting them done and that picture was the same week. Nobody should have to get a fill within 7-11 days after paying 80 dollars. And yes I did leave a ten dollar tip because I work within the service industry and always tip I do not stiff even after bad service. I did not jam my finger my nail broke because of the quality of the products you use and the rushed thin application. To detail more what I meant about rushing the process and you can go look at the cameras again to watch, when she glued my nails she didn't apply pressure and wait for the tip and glue to be bonded correctly with my nail . Hence why my nails are cracked and breaking off at the tip point. I've never had cracks in my acrylic starting at the cuticle even after hitting my nails. For a 80 dollar set I shouldn't have to complain or come back to get something fixed. Shows a lot about the quality of the products, work and professionalism. As the owner for you to try and blame the client for a crappy set is very unprofessional. And not to mention I noticed she used a used nail file which is against health code. I always fear getting my toes done because even though I'm grown I'm ticklish like a 10 year old lol. Not only did sonny make the experience very comfortable he was able to make me experience fun and relaxing. The perfect break from my crazy 8-5 work schedule and crazy school schedule. At a point in getting my acrylics , my mind began wondering into my responsibilities after I was done. Thinking about the school work and grocery shopping I had to do. I've been to this salon twice now. I chose a deluxe pedicure and had my acrylic nails taken off and a regular manicure. The inside is pretty spacious with a ton of chairs for pedicures. The nail areas have high tops which is kind of uncomfortable (perhaps because I'm short). All the staff were nice. The man that took care of me was very friendly, and we even had a conversation. He did a great job and was patient when it came time to taking off my acrylic. They have a ton of colors to choose from which is great. I've had a few great experiences at Maxim, but this one was bad enough to outweigh those. I chose a dip color off of their wheel as pictured below. The next photo is what I received- which was correctly labeled. A completely different teal blue than the light pale green on the display! I mentioned that the color looked different after the first layer of dip powder had been applied. They offered a color change at a future date since I was short on time, but I was still charged $40 for this mess. The staff were friendly but for such a big mistake, I will no longer be going back. As a full time grad student who also works 30+ hours a week, I had a moment of free time and decided to treat myself to getting dip, and frankly this just added onto an already sucky week. Update on 11-5: Tried to go get my color corrected after a horrible experience yesterday, and was made to feel dumb. They told me today that the color displays they have use gel colors, not dip powder colors which is why they don't match the color of the dip powder (no one informed me of this on my visit yesterday). Even though I called and made an appointment to have my dip redone/color changed as I was promised after paying yesterday, my nail tech who messed up my nails yesterday told me she didn't have time for dip removal and a full redo, even though that's what I was promised after yesterday's awful service. Will never be back here, and I suggest you take your money and time elsewhere! read more

The inside of the place is very big with many pedicure seats in the second room. I didn't have to wait when I walked in and the staff was friendly. I went here because it's close to my house and the times I've been here I can say they're just consistently "okay". Stronger in some areas in comparison to others. The positive: If you're looking for a fantastic pedicure from lowest to higher end paraffin wax and hot stone with a great massage they are your place! I love the ambience in the pedicure area with music and fountain in the middle. The negative: Anytime I've gotten a full set the acrylic/gel used is never smoothed out properly and the nails have more of a thick look. I prefer them thin and looking more natural. This time I just got a gel nail polish manicure. Unfortunately she could t communicate to me that the brand of gel nail polish isn't the greatest. It took 3 coats to get a decent color and now I'm outside and still not the happiest. You can see the color is uneven. I don't recommend the gel nail polishes that are labeled DND. So ultimately, if you want a fantastic pedicure they're your go to place. Anything more than that I can't recommend. read more
