All the ladies that work there are very nice and pleasant but I'm not happy with color and cut. I have been there 3x now and each time the beautician left a my forehead stained with hair color. The cut, was not what I wanted, the first time the cut was okay, I thought miscommunication no big deal, the 2nd time was the same, this time I brought in a picture and my cut looks nothing like the picture, (a soft bob) but I got an Edith Bunker hair cut! It will grow back so I will take it with a sense of humor but I will not go back. I don't write a lot of bad reviews or any really but this is the 3rd chance and I'm done! read more

I was one of the bridesmaids at the October 4th wedding for my sister in law (same as Joan G.) on this review board. I have to say, I personally disagree completely with Joan G. it was a very fun morning at the hotel with the stylists from Couture Salon. All the women were professional, affordable, and our hair looked beautiful! Sometimes no matter what you do, you just can't please everyone. What Joan G. doesn't mention in her poor review is her stylist did her up-do once to match the picture the customer brought, she wasn't happy even though it looked exactly like the photo. So, the stylist took the whole thing out and did a different up-do a second time. The customer said she liked it, and then long after the stylists were gone, she started complaining about her hair again. To now ask for her money back for a service that was completed not once but twice, is not only rude and disrespectful, but also greedy. I highly recommend this salon to anyone! My sister was absolutely breathtaking on her wedding day & all of our hair lasted day and night. Thank you Couture for making the day extra special! read more

So here's what really impressed me...when we were ready to leave the salon it had begun to drizzle outside, Dimitria offered to get out cars for us so our hair wouldn't get ruined, she even lent us her umbrella to use for the day!...how often do you see genuine courtesy like that any more? I went in as a witness for Joan G to see if Couture Salon and Spa would be professional and honor her refund. When we walked up to the door, it was closed even though they are open until 7:30. A lady came to the door to unlock it and let us in. Joan immediately asked for manager and she stated you can speak to me. When Joan asked for a refund she stated why did you let Lindsay leave if you were unhappy. In addition you left horrible reviews. Joan stated she left the reviews after many unsuccessful attempts to speak with a manager even though they stated a manager would call her back. Joan called all week to speak to a manager and left several messages for a call back but her calls were being sent to voicemail. I called back not even a minute after and someone answered the call asking if I wanted to make an appointment, when I stated I was looking for a manager for Joan; they stopped answering my calls. Joan had a friend call and ask for directions and they immediately answered. When Joan left the salon, they stated We were harassing them simply because we were trying to get a hold of a manager. Apparently business must be slow if they refuse to refund the $65 Joan paid for such horrible service and unprofessionalism. read more

First time client at this salon and I am beyond impressed! You walk in, and unlike most big salons you feel like your at home. Everyone welcomes you with smiling faces like they've known you your entire life. I saw Candace who took her time helping me discuss multiple options on how to change up my look. She gave me multiple suggestions and explained what would look good and why things that I thought I would like, I actually wouldn't. She really knows what she's talking about. I brought my almost one year old with me and they were totally accommodating with her. Being a new mom Candace made me look and feel amazing!! Candace was able to use a couple different high and low lights to come up with an amazing color combination that is beyond perfection. Prices are comparable to other salons but you get so much more with the warm atmosphere that you don't get anywhere else. Where do I begin, I was referred to Lindsey for hair extensions. Now, mind you, I have had extensions done 5 times before. I had the micro cylinder which lasted me 1 year and not one had come off. When I came to the salon for the first time about one month ago, I discussed with my hair dresser what kind of extensions I wanted, she offered me 2 types of hair companies, Donna bella and Aqua. She was pushing me to buy the more expensive ones, but when I took a look at both, I found that Donna bella suited my hair type more. I told her to go ahead and order my hair and I will see her upon my appointment. I went in and had them done, not only was I waiting a half hour, she was constantly reminding me that she pushed all her appointments around for me, making me feel guilty. Besides the point, that is not what really concerned me. It was the fact that, I left happy, but come the next day, which I had to attend an event, regardless. 2 strands fall out, making me feel nervous for my event. I came home from work to get ready, another strand falls out, making it 3 already in one day. I txted her telling her what was happening and that I felt embarrassed to go out, thinking, what if more strands fall out in public? (this never happened with any extensions before!) to make the long story short, I ended up losing about 10 strands in 4 days! Not only was this causing embarrassment, but the fact that she was not caring about my feelings towards this situation. She offered me solutions to take them off and put them back on with different cylinders, but at that point, I lost all trust in her. Finally, after having to wait for her a week to remove them for me, I go into the salon and speak with the owner Dimitra, who brings in her brother, another owner Haris, and as Lindsey was removing my extensions from me, I ask for my $725, including $100 tip back and they told me they could only refund me 250 back, claiming the rest went to the hair. I asked for my receipt since they told me I had to keep the hair, and first reaction from the hair dresser was that she threw it out and either way, it is confidential and I could not see it. I argued with both the owners and Lindsey for my right of seeing the receipt. They all tag teamed me, treating me as if I was a child, making me feel as if I was at fault. I was trying to be civil and meet half way at least. I had such a horrible experience, this made me hate extensions, and I never (like I mentioned before) had this problem. I am not one to cause trouble or write bad reviews, but this needs to be written after they treated me very poorly. Shame on them and I am shocked at their work ethics, as owners also. I ended up keeping the hair because they gave me no choice. I went to a salon called Zig Zag and the owner Olivia put them in for me with great cylinders and she told me the bond of the extension before was put in incorrectly and it should have been secured from the top and flat. It has been 2 weeks now and I have tugged hard to style and blow dry my hair and not ONE has come off. I don't know how talented the employees are at Couture Salon, as far as color or cuts. But as for liars, poor work ethics and horrible service and technique from Lindsey, I would definitely not recommend anyone going there for any services after the way I was treated. And as for the people at couture reading this, you know who I am and I am very sorry it had to come to this for me to write a bad review about you. When you want to open up a salon, you should know how to run it properly. I am in this industry and we all make mistakes, but own up to it! read more
