As someone with an alternative "emo" style it's hard to find stylists who can achieve those cuts and you end up having to cut your own hair most of the time. But Saints & Scissors is the perfect place for people in the alternative emo scene community to go to for hair cuts, dye jobs. They're great! I came here with the hope of a good experience. This was back in March. Not only did the color fade immediately (and my scalp had chemical burns) the cut I got was horrible. How does one miss hair on a pixie cut?! It was uneven. Overpriced considering this isn't the city. There are plenty of other salons to go to that won't irritate your scalp. read more

I got my hair done by Christina Ligato for my wedding! She came to the hotel I was having my wedding at and she arrived right on time which is everything you hope for during the stressful wedding morning getting ready. Except it wasn't stressful. When you sit in Christina's chair you feel like you've known her for 20 years. She makes you feel like family. After using box dye for over a year and having solid color boring dark brown hair, I thought I'd risk it and try for a change. I found the salon by looking through Instagram photos. I made an appointment on Friday and I was able to come in that following Monday and meet with Christine. Christine is a newer stylist but her talent and skill is amazing! I showed her some pictures on my phone of what I was looking for.She gave me the best balayage I could ever imagine, keeping my dark undertone and adding the shiniest perfect caramel highlights. I could not ask for anything better, even the style that she gave my long hair with bangs was incredible, no one ever gets it right! It was my first time there, as I said earlier, but I was there for about four hours and every single customer I saw leave had gorgeous, top notch hair. It seems like every stylist there does an amazing job. I only wish I would've found the salon sooner. Christine is incredible-go see her!!!! The price was very reasonable. It might be a bias opinion but my sister Cristina does some great hair. My 12 year old loves to do funky colors and wild cuts. My middle who is 8 does bang trims every now and then but we look forward to October for our breast cancer awareness month hair extensions. $10 and they will put a pink extension in. This year was our first year doing it. My son needs haircuts every 6 weeks and Cristina is very gentle with him. My son is 6 and for a long time was scared of the clippers. As for myself I cut my hair maybe twice last year. But I love when she washes and blow drys my hair. So if you are feeling down that is a good way to beat the winter blues or just a bad day. read more

Let me first start by saying I'm a fellow hairstylist, so we usually are the toughest critics of our own heir. Michelle and Kevin have been doing my hair for years. Michelle does my extensions which I've had for 4 years now. My hair is down to my ass and people STILL ask me if it's all mine because of how natural it looks (if you call hair down to your ass natural). Also, when I first went blonde it wasn't an easy color to match and was nowhere near any swatch of blonde the extensions were made in. She picked a combo of 2 colors to blend to my natural hair perfectly and it ended up matching so well. Kevin does my color and is the absolute best. I have naturally dark brown hair but used to color it jet black. He's made me the perfect ashy blonde while still keeping the integrity of my hair. Anyone with dark hair knows how hard it is to get an ashy blonde! I receive compliments allll the time on my color. HIGHLY recommend! read more

Wow! This salon is a true find. Because of my very curly hair texture, not every stylist has experience cutting it or can do a terrific job styling it.
