I was involved in an auto accident and was in significant pain and discomfort. I did not know who to turn to for help with my neck, shoulders and back. I understand why fellow Yelpers love Covina Chiropractic! Dr. Mata is an incredibly charming man with a wonderful personality. His staff: Liz & Adriana are both super sweet & greet everyone by name. The office is modern, updated & using highly effective technology. I'm BLOWN AWAY by this place. I've been to different chiropractors throughout the years for neck & back pain and I have NEVER had a pain-free adjustment until I saw Dr. Mata. I don't have PPO insurance so I paid $165 for the first 2 visits. Digital X-rays were taken on the first visit, which was awesome because other chiropractors I've been to don't even bother to take X-rays (which is scary if you think about it). And even from my first adjustment on that first visit - I could tell that THE MAN REALLY KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING! A friend recommended me to Clinic, I was amazed the way she got recovered from serious injuries after accident . I drive from Torrance to Covina to get the treatment from Dr. Olman Mata & Dr. Monica Scott , the Magical Hands . I was suffering from serious Sciatica pain and its very severe that I could not stand properly ,I was almost 60 Degrees siding to my left side. .They made very good adjustments to my back and every time I go I feel better and confident about my progress. I had a serious Injury disc herniation in 3 places and with 2 visits I got very good results and now I am standing straight in 90 Degrees , I can do all of my work by myself. Covina chiropractor was able to promptly schedule an appointment for me. Upon arriving, I received exceptional customer service. During my first appointment, the doctors provided detailed explanations of my condition and devised a plan of action. Dr. Herrera and Dr. Arthur were particularly exceptional! I have since made it a regular habit to attend weekly appointments as my back pain has been steadily improving with each visit. The convenience of using their app to schedule appointments is a plus. A few years ago, my sister heard me complaining about the horrible experiences I had with chiropractors I found through Groupon deals. In Spanish she reminded me: "Lo barato sale caro". A phrase I've heard a million times that basically means "What you pay is what you get". She then told me of her friend's chiropractor in Covina, Dr. Mata & what a godsend he has been for her friend & her family. So I called. There is no Groupon, coupon or Yelp offer for this place. I would highly recommend Dr. Mata for your Chiropractor needs. I first came to Dr. Mata's over 10 years ago. A friend of mine recommended him to me. My friend had suffered from Bell's Palsy. Bell's palsy is a paralysis or weakness of the muscles on one side of your face. Damage to the facial nerve caused my friend to lose control of his muscles on one side of his face and caused that side of his face to droop. He couldn't even close his eye lid. His regular doctor could not cure him with regular therapy and medications. So before my friend had more extensive nerve damage he found Dr. Mata and he cured my friend's Bell's Palsy. I had several injuries through football, rugby, and other contact sports that I have played over the years. My back has been quite frankly, messed up for years and so has been my neck. Dr. Mata instantly recognized there was a problem and saw to it that he immediately take action and had me take x-rays in his back office. I've been seeing and only seeing him since. I had the best experience at Covina Chiropractic during my pregnancy and wish I would have come sooner! I was referred by my midwife while preparing my body for my natural unmedicated birth. I am convinced that the adjustments largely contributed to my quick and successful delivery of my little girl. I am 3 weeks postpartum and just had my first adjustment and brought my fussy newborn along to get her first adjustment as well. She went home passed out from being so relaxed afterwards. When my co-worker recommended I see Dr. Mata for my back and hip pain I was very reluctant about seeing him because I had already been to other chiropractors and an orthopedic surgeon and none of them were able to pinpoint the problem. I have just recently started seeing Dr. AJ for back and sciatica issues. I feel confident in Dr. AJ's knowledge and expertise in this field and trust that I am in good hands at each appointment. My 12 year old daughter is also a patient of Dr. AJ's and has completed bounced back from a shoulder injury only after a couple of appointments! In addition to Dr. AJ, the entire staff is friendly and welcoming and provide a safe, clean and professional environment. My health insurance is not accepted here but the out of pocket expense, which isn't a lot, is definitely well worth the money. I have been a patient of the practice for many years. Dr. Mata is a very skilled practitioner. The office itself has changed from a family practice to an assembly line. There is lil personal attention, and the patient plans have have risen to very high rates. The friendly staff has practically been eliminated. This used to be Bellwood Chiropractic and more therapy was applied. Now the only therapy applied is adjustments. I no longer recommend the office unless you are in a hurry and want to get in and out. It is a Chriopratic office not a Family practice, so what can be expected. We tend to expect more for our money even though its covered with our insurance. read more

Every time i go to see Dr. Mata i feel so relieved. I play many sports soccer, football, skiing, wakeboarding etc. All the main sports i do, and when im in pain because of a hard fall(skiing) i go to him for adjustments. For situations as a dislocated hip or even when i rolled my ankle due to bad falls, hes always there to help. Where do I begin ? I hurt my back been to emergecy given a pain shot, Pain Meds and musle relaxors.. Nothing touched the pain..
