Believe the overall low rating and avoid! They don't honor the first time 25% off coupon and blame it on their system. The folks on Blanco are rude and not worried about retaining customers but more worried about proving the customer wrong, although they're not. I took in $140 worth of cleaning and would bring that in bimonthly. Their loss...going to use Comet, at least the pricing is up front and customer service is excellent. read more

Arrived at the Bulverde store at 1:45pm on a Tuesday to pick up my two dress shirts. The door is locked and the sign on the window say it's break time and the store will reopen at 2:00. I'm pretty irritated since I arranged my day to get by here to pick up my shirts, I have groceries thawing out in the back seat, and won't be anywhere near here for at least a week... so I wait. Fast forward to 2:15, several people have walked up to the still locked door glanced at the sign and left. (Maybe they'll come back, maybe they won't. There are other cleaners out there). The lights are still out and the door is still locked so I go on line to see if there's another Cowboy Cleaners that can tell me what's going on and will anyone be here today. I reached someone at another store and they don't seem to know what's going on, but they'll call the store and see if they can't get someone to help me. A few minutes later the lights come on and a lady unlocks the door. I and a couple other folks walk in, she says "Sorry I lost track of time" and then searched for my misplaced shirts. I understand it's a challenging business environment today, however that's just sloppy. We've been bringing dress clothes and my sons ROTC uniform here for years, but I'm pretty sure this is my last time here. I gave two stars since the shirts were finally found and looked nice. Selected this business because of their seeming longevity and my lack of knowledge. After giving them a week to do a tux and two shirts, when I went to pick them up, they couldn't locate the shirts, And when I told them I needed for an event that night They told me to wait and they'd look again. Lo and behold the shirts appeared but there was damage to my tuxedo shirt collar which of course was denied and passed off as my problem. I would seriously advise to scout out another dry cleaner rather than use these folks to ruin your clothes. read more

I took my Shirts and counted them on the counter with the employee, asked for light starch. Received a ticket and came back the day after the available date. Received a bill for $145. That's $4.26 per shirt, different employee couldn't explain the charges and a manager was not available so I called and left a message for the manger to call and explain the charges. No return call Used them before and had 18 shirts that cost $45 also light starch. Customer beware! read more

I took a load of dry cleaning and laundry to the Blanco location, and was greeted and assisted by a very attentive and cheerful woman named Brittney. I recently relocated to the same area as this particular Cowboy Cleaners. I have since patronized the local business yet due to an unpleasant experience I will need to take my business elsewhere. Simple alterations (1 inch off the length)on two pair of very casual pants which sold for 19.95 ea. The alteration charged to me by Cowboy Cleaners was $30.61. Pretty outrageous, huh? I shared this experience with the owner and to no avail, she couldn't care less even though I have been a steady new customer . I was never informed up-front about the cost for the simple alterations. I really feel RIP-off and intend to spread the news to many others. VERY DISAPPOINTED, INDEED! read more

Your Blanco store is the worst dry cleaners I've ever experienced. I was a first time customer who just moved into the area and Joe @ Blanco store is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered. I think only knows how to say, "we go by the label." today I picked up my items, 2 pairs of jeans (cotton!) that I had asked to be laundered and starched (not uncommon at all in Texas), they came back dry-cleaned and when I said I asked them to be laundered and starched all Joe could say was "they go by the label." my jeans are not dry clean only and when mentioned this to Joe he said they go by the label. I have never had anyone treat me with such disregard and attempt to make me feel so incompetent. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED . I took my high school letterman jacket for dry cleaning and instead they washed it. The stitching on the arm/shoulder came apart. They did volunteer to fix the issue but after 5 weeks, nothing was accomplished. Empty promises! read more

I had a comforter that needed cleaning and they did not fail. Great job, a little pricey and came in a large zippered bag which the counter girl said she did not take back to be reused. Kinda good if you are store it, but if not it's a waste to me. I asked for one of my shirts to be folded and boxed and box and when I picked up the order, the shirt was hanging separately and I was charged for the fold and box. I mentioned it to the counter girl and she said that should could do it. I just declined and walked away. Prices are a bit high even for shirts. But overall good job read more

Bought a suit at Second Looks for my son for around $300. Brand new Hart Schafner & Marx with cloth tag still sewn on sleeve, was originally $1200 waist was a little tight so asked Cowboys if they could do the minor job. Absolutely, it will take two weeks. Came back, the SEAT was let out, but not the waist. Very apologetic, the seamstress misunderstood his instructions, we'll redo it. How long? TWO WEEKS! Can't hurry it up? No. Came back. Hadn't pressed the seam down where let out and there were small holes (larger than typical needle holes). I said, these were caused by someone pulling on the seam too hard to get the stitches out. No, just the needle holes. No point in arguing. How about you refund the money I paid for all the inconvenience at least. Can't do. Manager not here. I come back next day. Woman at counter- we'll give you refund, but WE KEEP THE PANTS! I say- you should give me refund for not doing the work the first time. Woman - no YOU TOLD US TO LET THE SEAT OUT! First time I've heard this. BS, I say. Woman- no, we have it on VIDEO! I say, I'll give you $200 if you can show me that video! I was asked to leave. read more

We are returning customers, and dropped off a jacket to be cleaned on Monday 2-11-19. 4 days later it was returned to us the same way that we dropped it off. The young lady that I spoke with on the phone to let know about the jacket said, in a sarcastic tone, that all she could do was to roll it out with a lint and that, that was the best thing should could do. Nothing to offer.... just a lint. Apparently the jacket wasn't cleaned. We were charged $12.08 and it took 4 days for it to be returned to us in the same condition. I asked for her manager's name so that I could speak with her, but she said that Leslie only works M-F from 7-2pm. She said she could give me the main office phone number to call knowing that they were already closed for the day. They closed at 1. I found this information out later when I called a second time to ask if there was a manager after 2 or on the weekends. She said there are no managers who work on the weekends or the afternoon shift. She said they are all just counter help. I did call the main office and left a voice message for a lady named Eva, who oversees the laundry mats. This was a poor customer service experience, and we are very disappointed in how they operate. read more
