They say the cleaners have a dead battery and are running late. After several hours pass by I call them and inquire about "running late cleaners", and they tell me no one will be coming anymore. Absolutely disappointing experience with customer service, and poor cleaning job. The owner was harassing me through bombarding texts and was very rude and demeaning, while the 4 "cleaners" (2 woman, 1 man, 1 teenage boy)cleaned my home. The owner was telling me to explain why I did not schedule earlier that week (obvious because I can't) and lectured me that I should've staying with the cleaners the whole time. She made little to no sense, while making very unprofessional comments. Then she blew me off and said she had no more time to talk because she was at the airport. So out of all the things listed on their services sheet, they completed ~40% well. Everything else is described below. -Tried to up sell me and bill for more, when toilets and showers are included on deep cleaning. Is there a toilet that is suppose to be cleaned before they come to clean? That would defeat the purpose of having it "professionally" cleaned. -Baseboards still had dust -Floors did not seem like they were mopped and only partially sweeped. -White residue left on most cabinets -light fixtures still dusty -ceiling fans were not cleaned -Door frames were dusty all the way around -light switches weren't cleaning well - most walls dusted, but missed large portions on some walls. -sink semi-clean (left residue around sink) -Broke our blinds for a window. -After they were about 90 mins late, they decided to rush the deep cleaning job and finish within 2 hrs for a 3700 sqft house, even though when I initially asked if I needed a post-construction cleaning. I also asked if they would have sufficient time (several times). She said yes, that they should be able to clean everything no problem and would only need a deep cleaning. Well apparently it was a problem since they missed so many areas. If you like to be treated rudely by the owner, wait for cleaners to come late and have dirt pushed around, while paying a huge fee, then this place may still not be for you, since they will most likely try to reschedule you due to their poor judgement or lack of time management skills. The absolute WORST cleaning services have ever had and I have had at least 10-15 regular services in my lifetime. We asked for a move-in cleaning which is quite pricey but we were okay paying for a good service. They sent four people and a manager to clean. The house was empty and already clean but we expected a full detail. They said that is what they do. After they were done it looked like NO ONE HAD DONE ANY CLEANING. There was still dust everywhere and bathrooms looked the same. Also the shower rod in the bathroom had fallen down and no one even notified us if this until we saw it ourselves. We sent pictures of the shoddy work and they tried to send someone the next morning at 6.30 AM to clean again but we were woken up with several text messages saying she couldn't get in and the code didn't work. How did the code not work when they just used it yesterday to lock up? Also they were in such a rush to charge my card on file when I asked repeatedly for them to wait bc I wanted to give another card but was at work and didn't have time to fill out the form during the day. Now I know why they were rushing to charge the card - I am sure they knew we would be severely disappointed with their service. I asked them to refund the $300 charge but they refuse. It literally looked like the cleaners spent no more than 20 mins there. And now movers are here and house is not clean. What a disaster. I would definitely not call this a cleaning but more like just pushing dirt around. I asked them to take special care of the shower and they only cleaned the shower pan, not the walls or glass. Did not sweep or vacuum hardwoods before mopping and did not mop kitchen at all. I'm finding little piles of matted dirt in the corners after the mopping. Did not empty all trash cans. Left white residue on bathroom tile grout and floors are sticky. Did not dust around mirrors, doors, lighting fixtures and art work. Did not dust all furniture. Did not vacuum carpet where dust was visible. Did not vacuum stairs. Did not clean upstairs bathroom sinks. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Not awful, not great. I booked a two hour service. The two person team didn't show up for the first appointment due to a scheduling mishap on their end. When they did arrive they were late - not a big deal - but the two hours we paid for was actually only a 75 minute cleaning. I am the type of person that when I hire a cleaner I pre-clean and I prefer if they get to things like the microwave and floorboards. I was told they would only dust floor boards as part of a $175 deep clean. The floorboards were just dusty. I ended up swiffering them myself and it took 15 minutes. The cleaning was good but not superb. I had to go around and re-vacuum a few spots they missed and windex streaks left on counters, etc. They must have walked in the kitchen after mopping because it was embedded with sneaker print outlines. The regular two hour cleaning was around $75, which I think is on the higher side for what I received. By comparison, my boss has her 4000 square foot home in Soutlake cleaned for $80. I don't mind dropping $75 if it is a really great clean, but honestly I clean my apartment better in about the same amount of time. **Update: the owner (?) called to harass me about my review. In re-reading this, I actually think I was pretty kind. If you want to win me over and get me to reconsider my review or using my service don't chastise me or tell me you're used to cleaning homes that basically don't need cleaning (we don't clean if it is that messy"). It must be nice, especially in this economy to pick and choose clients for cleaning. If my place is that clean why would I call you? I have a successful career in marketing and running businesses. Every successful business person knows the customer is always right. If the customer is unhappy listen to them and figure out what you can do to make it right. You then win over a customer for life. Granted, there are some customers that are never happy, but I actually love to be won over and then become a huge brand advocate for brands/companies that do win me back. Don't talk over your customer and tell them they should have been able to read between the lines of the Living Social offer which reads "two hours of cleaning" (period) and say, very bait and switch style, that saying two hours is one hour per person. The deal said two hours of cleaning. I re-read the fine print to Cowboys Cleaning on the phone, who then tried to blame Living Social ("we only get complaints from the Living Social customers!") Don't tell me how hard it was to get dust off a credenza so you simply didn't do it or did it poorly. I went through my entire apartment with two Magic Erasers, a bottle of spray cleaner and a rag and got the credenzas and occasional tables sparkling - and cleaned all the baseboards myself in an hour. If an ancient Roomba and a Swiffer can do as good or better than two "professional cleaners" I would say that is the epitome of "Meh." For the record, my place is pretty clean and certainly by no means a sty. I even pre clean before cleaners come. Over charged me - 3xs to be exact. I should have known not to use them when all the reviews online were bad. When I asked them about all the bad reviews, Tina told me it was because people who bought a Groupon expected full price treatment. Well- I didn't use a groupon and they missed so many things during my deep cleaning. They told me it was because of low light in my house. Best part was Tina sending me rude texts after they over charged me. Don't they realize maids aren't hard to find. They think because they charge a bit less they can do sub par work. Stay away from Cowboys Cleaning! I'm extremely unimpressed with the cleaning job their employee did at my house. We bought the Living Social deal because we are trying out cleaning companies so that we can have a maid come regularly. This is not the company that we chose. We asked that she focus on the kitchen and bathroom. Imagine our surprise when we came home and she had NOT done the dishes...that were in the kitchen. Not only that, we were shocked that she wasn't even there! We had left to run a 30 minute errand 45 minutes before the two-hour cleaning was up, so she could have potentially left 45 minutes before she should have. The world may never know. The beds were not made (we had stripped the beds and left clean linens out on each bed) and the trash was not taken out. The bathroom did look nice and she mopped, so it wasn't completely terrible. I honestly had no idea what to expect. Clean counters? sure. Mopped floors? Yeah. Dishes done? wtf? AWESOME! AND my friggin bathtub is so sparkling white that I was afraid to shower tonight for fear of leaving soap scum. (same thing with the toilets, but you get the idea). This sweet chick spent three hours at my place making my rooms fabulous, and I truly feel spoiled even though I paid her. This is my new crack (..not that I had crack before..), and can honestly say I feel more pampered with this professional home cleaning than I've ever felt getting a mani/pedi or my hair did. I've used this place for well over a year and maybe almost 2 years. I started when I got a groupon for them, which must have signaled that I'm budget-conscious, because they've tried to be very reasonable with their prices. One thing I like is that they give you the option of providing the cleaning supplies and getting a discount vs. them providing their own. When we moved, I got a quote from a friend of a friend of a friend who has a cleaning service and Cowboys Cleaning beat them hands down. They've always done a great job and the manager checks in with me from time to time to make sure I'm happy. I trust them with a key to my place and have never had anything go missing. They're very flexible with scheduling and will work around my whirlwind of a life. I also love that they take credit cards, so I don't have to deal with leaving money out and remembering to write a check or have enough cash on hand. read more

Granted we used the groupon, but we got exactly what we paid for. First, my wife scheduled the appointment and they told her it would be another $80. We didn't want the whole house cleaned just a few rooms. My wife called back to clear that up and then they told her it was $20/hour. Well the fine print says that is for "deep-cleaning", which is not what we were asking for either. Next, the day they were scheduled at 8:30am, someone finally showed up at 9:30am and said they lost their keys and asked if they could come back at 1pm. They did return at 1pm, but stayed for 2 hours. If it was supposed to be $20/hour they should have been there for 4 hours, since the coupon was worth $80. Generally, companies have coupons so they can win new "repeat" business. Usually a company should go the extra step to please, in hopes that the customer will call them again or at least recommend them to friends. Either way, they did a terrible job. They missed a lot of things that my 11 and 13 old kids do a better job of cleaning. I just came home from my house being cleaned by Cowboys Cleaning. I purchased this off of Groupon and thought that for what I paid for they did a great job. I have 2 kids (age 3 and 7) and knew that she was going to have a time with their bathroom. She did an amazing job and the whole house smells nice and clean. The details on the bathroom and the main living room were all met with my expectations. The only thing that left me a little disappointed was in my kitchen the outside of the microwave and refrigerator were not cleaned - which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. I use to own my own cleaning company for 4 years prior to moving to Dallas, TX. That has made me very critical of other cleaning companies who I have hired to clean my place in the past (Since owning my own, I now hate cleaning for myself lol) and I have hired and fired a lot. Cowboys cleaning was recommended to me and i decided to give them a shot. I was absolutely pleased with the job they did and how quickly they were able to do it. They have a high attention to detail, trustworthy (I allow them to clean when I am not home), dependable- always on time and always there when the appointment is set, and hardworking- they don't take any breaks and get the job done fast. I called Cowboys Cleaning to do a move-out service and I was beyond happy with the communication. The lady on the phone was professional and so courteous. I had to change the date twice because of a mess with the moving company and she just figured it out and got me set up. I could have not been more pleased. Unfortunately, I never met any one from the company as I left the door unlocked to my empty apartment but I went back later and I as so pleased at how everything gleamed. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! When I set this up, I stressed to Tina that I had dog hair that needed to be cleaned and the main focus was disinfecting. They came in and only wiped down the surfaces that had nothing on them. Meaning- they only cleaned half my bar area because I had picture frames on the other half. In the bathroom, they wiped out the four corners of the bath tub and I had to make them go back and clean the bathtub because when you lifted the bathmat, there was dog hair and dirt!!! I was on the website looking at what comes with the "basic" package and pointed out to the cleaners that this was included. They even had to use MY vacuum to vacuum up the dog hair sine they were going to leave it!!! She then proceeded to tell me that they would have to do a deep cleaning if I wanted what was on the website done! Not to mention, there were 4 ladies in here cleaning!!! They were in and out in 1 hour and 15 minutes for a 900 sq foot apartment. I got tired of having to walk around and make sure they were doing what was included that I just let them leave. $107.90 later, I still have cobwebs, dust, and dirt in EVERY single room. Did I mention that they were supposed to be here at 1130AM and after I called them at 1230PM to find out where they were, they didn't arrive until 1PM!!! They didn't even have the decency to call me and tell me they were running late!!! Lesson learned, listen and read the reviews before you use someone!! I have a debilitating disease and I am home-bound right now and cannot do the cleaning myself. So it looks like I will have to spend more of my limited disability income to get this done! We've had twice a month service since the middle of the summer. Having never had a cleaning service before, we were super nervous about finding the right company. The ladies in the office are great to work with, talking through concerns and have been super accommodating to work with us if dates need to move due to an ongoing remodel. I hired this company to clean my new home before my family and I moved in. After a little miscommuncation on my part, they came out on the morning of August 12. They were there for maybe 2.5 hrs with 4 cleaners total. I did a walkthrough and figured that everthing was okay. I noticed that all the major areas were clean, the toilet, the tub, etc. So I paid almost $350, including tip for their service. The next day, once I started unpacking, I realized that my house was not clean, especially the kitchen. The pantry room was pretty much untouched, the cabinets were filthy and there were spiderwebs in the blinds. Monday morning, I contacted the companny via phone and text and informed them of my concerns. I was told that someone had been fired and thats probaly why the house wasnt cleaned the way that it should have been. I sent in pictures showing a little bit of the cleaning that I had to do after the fact. I followed up a few days later and was told that they had not yet had a chance to talk to the manager, as the cleaning people are actually a 3rd party. A week later I once again reached out and was told that the manager was on vacation and I would need to wait until she returned on August 28th to talk to her. On August 31, I tried to call multiple times throughout the day and the phone went straight to voicemail. It has since been almost a month since the "cleaning" of my house and this company has not taken my concerns seriously. No one has reached out to me or provided me with an update. I think this situation has been handled in a unprofessional manner. I was hoping to have established a long term relationship with the company who did my move in cleaning, provided that they did a good job, and Cowboy Cleaning has completely dropped the ball. I think I have given them an ample amount of time to try to rectify this, but I guess that now they have my money, they dont care about the lack of service that was provided, even after admitting that they had a less than stellar employee. I bought a Groupon for Cowboys Cleaning for a basic two hour cleaning for $45 plus they added tax and other fees for $14. They only cleaned the living room, kitchen and bathrooms. They did not clean the bedrooms at all...no dusting, vacuuming, making the beds, etc. I emailed them complaining about the service and they stated that they did not clean the bedrooms because that would of taken 5 hours and that is a deep cleaning service. My apt is 1,300 square feet. We have used other services that get the whole two bedroom apartment clean in about 2 hrs. This company must have really fallen off in the last 2 years. I purchased a LivingSocial deal for 2 hours of cleaning from this company about 2 weeks ago. I sent the lady, Tina Patel, an email trying to set up my appointment. We originally set an appointment for last Wednesday. That Thursday she sent me an email saying that she couldn't get to me until the following Wednesday (today) because "We never confirmed your {my} time". I responded by forwarding her the email showing that I confirmed the date 15 minutes after she set it. Her email was short and turse but I let it slide. Skip to today, the day of the big clean. Not only do they show up AN HOUR late, but when they get there I get a call that my place is essentially too messy to clean. I live in a 700 sq ft apartment. How hard could it be? There website says it best: "there are a plethora of cleaning companies in D/FW". I suggest that someone looking for quality service pick anyone besides Cowboy Cleaning. read more

in life, you live and you learn and today, I learned to always trust yelp reviews. I scheduled Cowboys Cleaning to perform move out/deep cleaning services for my 1,000 square foot apartment. Two women arrived and got straight to work; when we asked how long it would take they said 1.5 hours, which made us a bit nervous as deep cleaning requires detailed work. We were right to be nervous. When we returned to our apartment after the cleaning, we discovered the following: the windows were not clean the baseboard were not wiped ceiling fans dirty doorframes were dusty walls were not wiped cabinets in the kitchen not thoroughly wiped Countertops and backsplash not wiped Blinds not dusted Mirrors still dirty Refrigerator not completely clean Sliding glass doors not cleaned at all Basically they vacuumed the carpet and baseboards and wiped down sinks. I had to finish cleaning after they left. I would have paid $50 max for the services provided, not $150 and especially not the $200 they advertise. They price matched but this quality of work is still not up to par. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL...NO CUSTOMER SERVICE...WILL MISS YOUR APPOINTMENT...I saw them on Living Social and thought it was worth the price...the first appointment I scheduled, I called the day of to confirm they were coming and was told that they were running 2 hours behind...my appointment was scheduled for 6:30 pm so that was obviously not going to work (no one even called to let me know)...I rescheduled for the weekend at 1 pm...no one showed up, no one called, yet again. after I called the lady who answers the phone, Tina Patel, she said she would look into it and call me back. she never called me back. I had to call again the next day to find out what happen and re-schedule for a third time...at this point, i would normally just complain and ask for a refund, but since I have an event coming up this weekend, I do need someone to come sooner. When I got a hold of Tina again, she offered no apologies whatsoever and no explaination as to why my appointment was not booked (when it was her that booked it). all she said was that I can either call Living Social and ask for a refund or I can try and reschedule again. When I asked why no one show up or even call for my last appointment, she said "well we have over 200 people on our books, we're bound to mess at least one up...so, do you want a refund or to reschedule..those are your only options"...are you kidding me?! This is a very poorly run business and this lady does not deserve the money you'll be paying... oh, and read the fine print...it says you get two hours of cleaning. what i doesn't say is that you'll either get 1 person that will do 2 hours of cleaning, OR 2 people that will do 1 hour of cleaning total. very shady way to mislead customers read more

This company falsely advertises itself as having experience with post-construction cleaning. DO NOT BE FOOLED! The crew they sent did a poor job overall. I was often on my hands and knees showing them how to clean multiple areas (that they claimed could not be cleaned). What is frustrating is that my wife spoke with someone at this company and sent videos of the depth of cleaning needed. Based on that the representative led us to believe that it would be no problem. Our house had been through major renovations and we needed actual post-construction cleaning not maid service! What's worse is that the crew was really unprofessional and borderline lazy! They tried to give me attitude when I explained how certain things needed to be cleaned (new wood floors do not need soap and water!!!!). We even provided the chemical to clean the wood floor and they tried to tell us it would not work (even after we spoke with the wood manufacturers multiple times about how to clean the floors). I WOULD NOT recommend this company for POST-CONSTRUCTION cleaning! We just had this cleaning company do an initial clean. It is supposed to be more intensive than a normal biweekly clean, but not as intensive as a deep clean. It was not satisfactory in any way. It would not be ok for a bi weekly clean, and certainly not for an initial clean. There was still food on the floor in my dining room, they did not even sweep under the bench, or under the counter where the bar stools are. The shower was still dirty, the counters had barely been wiped and were still dirty, and the bathroom window was full of cobwebs. The shelves on our wall had not been dusted, and it was clear that they did a very a cursory job. They charged me $136.50 for a terrible job. This is by far the worst customer experience I have ever had. A little history, I have used this service for about 2 years: 1. The cleaning ladies: They barely clean your house, at best they wipe things around, nothing is ever cleaned deeply, but the cleaning ladies are very trustworthy and they are very kind. 2. The owner (Tina Patel): is the most argumentative (you will see from her response to this review), dismissive, and definitely not owning to her mistakes person I have ever met. I had a Miele range that was scratched to death, I told Tina, and she answered "the ladies use only soft cloth". In other words, not my problem. Knowing that I was going to buy another range soon, I decided to shrug this situation. I bought a new range and knowing how brutal they are on my appliance, I started putting a piece of paper asking the ladies not clean the range. After many weeks, I assumed that by now it was clear that I did not wish to have my range cleaned by them. Well, I did not put out the piece of paper and they scratched the heck out of my new range, after 1 visit. I complained to Tina Patel, and her answers included the following "You must have a cheap range for it to scratch so easily" (it is an $1,800 Bosch range) and "You expect me to pay money to fix your range?" (Yes, when I break something in your house, of course I will fix what I have done) and "I am not really believing this story" (I have no reason to lie, I am not the type that will try con people out of petty things) and lastly "I will remove you permanently from our schedule" (Tina's shortsightedness is mind boggling, instead of fixing the mistake and continue to have a client, she chose to lose a client, and now I am writing this complaint). Lastly she thought that it was appropriate to send me a $6.50 fix-it-yourself kit that can be found at Amazon, and she had the nerve to tell me that she was doing this as a courtesy. I bought a living social voucher and this is the worst company I have ever dealt with! I would give -5 stars if it were possible! If you have a voucher they will blow you off. It took days to get an email response, and they rarely ever answer the phone. Tina Patel is the worst excuse for a manager or customer service person that I have come across. The cleaning lady came an hour late, but did a good job. At the end she asked me for a $14 fee. I did not see this in the voucher or any emails. When we finally got through to the office, Tina was rude and abusive and clearly not in her right mind! I refused to pay, as this was clearly a hustle. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I requested a move-out deep clean for my small studio apartment in Fort Worth, and they charged me $185. I thought that was pricey, but they promised a very thorough clean. When I returned to my apartment to follow up on their work, I saw that they had barely even swept. 95% OF THE SERVICES THEY HAD PROMISED WERE NOT DONE. So, I not only lost out of $185, but I was charged by my landlord for a move out cleaning. I called and left several voicemails kindly asking for a follow up or refund of some sort. Used Cowboys through a living social deal....The first appt was canceled the day of..when the maid arrived for the next appt. she arrived 1.5 hours early without a call and the office failed to repond back with a confirmation email. Service did not have all their own equipment and had to use mine. Carpets were cleaned and there was a suprise "charge" at the end...very disapointed. read more

Very efficient, affordable and timely. No complaints and the apartment feels so much cleaner. The lady they sent over really worked hard to make the place clean and feel nice. I will be using their services on a weekly basis. read more
