We came across a gem of a property in North Park. It seemed to have been in/out of escrow a few times, which was strange. Once we dealt with this agent, it was obvious why. If you happen to be on the buying end of a house being sold by Andre, good luck. Some of the things we ran into: 1. Unresponsiveness - Responding to our offer deadline was missed by days, he was also not prompt in returning our realtor's queries over the course of the entire sale. Once we opened escrow, the listing remained as active in MLS versus being updated to pending. 2. Questionable practices -  Based on his social media, this agent claims to be pro-disclosures. The disclosures on this properly were basically "not a thing is wrong" It turned out there were known foundation, roof, and electrical issues! Our amazing home inspector provided a referral to a foundation company. When we called to schedule it, they told us they had already been out to the property twice and provided the agent/owner the findings! A termite estimate (versus a completed work order) was in our closing docs. He also threatened to cancel the deal if we did not agree to letting the current owner stay for an extended period after the closing date rent free. He also asked us to remove loan and appraisal contingencies very, very early on in the process.In the end we got the house but dealing with this agent was a nightmare. Additionally the owner left a ton of their crap behind so that was a gigantic bummer. Not the way to leave your mess behind for others to clean up. Pro tips: double check dates, disclosures, and have a great home inspector
