He provides honest feedback without being overly opinionated, which is a huge plus. He was methodical in determining the right price to list the home, in order to get in under specific filters. She recently passed away, and my grandmother and mother's attorney wanted a house appraisal based on the day that she died to determine a tax base for my mother who inherrited the house. I contacted Michael Willis for an appraisal on our home, and frankly, working with him was a breath of fresh air. Other appraisers contacted were sketchy on availability, and another wanted up front payment before they would even tell me who the appraiser would actually be or when they would be available. Not happening. Michael was not any of that. I spoke to him directly, his responsiveness was measured in hours, not days, and his questions of me about the property were thorough.
