But Mulberry Lane is a notch above bc not only is it a play cafe but there is staff there to watch your lils while you get to go elsewhere within the building whether that's in the lil tables visibly nearby or in one of their neighboring and partnering restaurants. Since we probably would only go weekends for an hour or two, I'm glad there are the options for one time pay or multi hour passes for future use. Since we weren't sure if we'd be back, we gave it a try for one hour. Prices may change but our first time was $18 per child per hour. This may seem high for only one hour, but my kids had fun and my hour without worrying about them or being interrupted was very productive so it was worth it. Staff are friendly. I only wished they had gluten free options for the kiddos to enjoy after their play. Guess we can bring our own next time! :)

The house itself is quite interesting and historical. Check out the bar on the lobby area and get a drink. It's great. The room may need some renovation. A strange smell was coming from an otherwise very nicely organized and renovated bathroom. Some of the paint was chipping on some of the furniture in my room as well. Would I come back here again? Yeah I would. It's fine. Would I spend the same amount of money I spent? Probably not.

We stayed here a night while visiting bars and restaurants with family in the area. Checking in…read morewas quick, easy, and professional. They have valet here and the valet folks were really busy, but accommodating when we needed to quickly drop off our vehicle. The guy checking me in upgraded me to a suite, which was a nice surprise. The common areas in this hotel were beautiful and kept up nicely. When we got to the room it was nicely set up and quite large. The bathroom wasn't very impressive though, it featured a tub with shower curtain - many nicer properties have been updated to remove the tubs and replace them with shower systems. The other issue with this tub was that it didn't drain well, which wasn't fun when taking a shower. The TV in the room was kind of small for how big the room was and how far away the TV was from the bed. Also, the TV had streaming services, but no Pluto. I've been loving having Pluto on Marriott TVs lately. The bed was comfy and the HVAC worked well and wasn't too loud. Overall, it was a nice stay, even though we literally got there around 5PM and put our bags in the room and left, staying out past midnight before returning, then waking up, showering, and heading out around 9AM. So, we weren't there nor in the room very long, but it was perfect for our needs. I'd stay here again.
