Memorial Chapel - Uncle's Celebration of Life in the garden chapel (smaller chapel in the Memorial Chapel building)

There is the larger church building that is within view if the street from Route 1. The smaller chapel has a beautiful tree of life artwork that hangs on the wall. The chapel is small and beautiful. We attended a memorial for a loved one. The larger church looks like the perfect place for celebrations and weddings. The web site details how to find the free parking lot and where to go if the lot is full.

Clean logistics planning. Quick turnaround on contracts. Basic execution support (to include a small selection of on-hand decor). Great location, easy parking (private lot), beautiful views of campus, nestled in a small garden. The only three things renters should be aware of with the smaller chapel is, considering the age of the building, 1) sound proofing is non-existent. Every time a guest opens a door (chapel door, bathroom door, etc) you hear the open and close; 2) there really isn't much space for rollers, wheel chairs, etc in the small chapel. So for memorial services with a heavy elder load-in this may be a challenge; 3) there is no additional space for repast or informal celebration attached to the chapel so guests will have to travel for post activities. Would recommend.

Pop! Wed Co - Every wedding must have cake!

Pop! Wed Co

Pop Wed Co is the best! Maggie is a phenomenal photographer and Stephen is a great officiant. We…read moreloved working with them, and they made our tiny wedding dreams come true. We had SO MUCH FUN on our wedding day, thanks to them, and experienced zero stress. They're a blast to work with, and everyone who's seen our pictures and heard about our "pop-up wedding" has been impressed and enthralled with the whole concept. I'm so glad I read about it, because it really is an innovative compromise between the big traditional wedding and the courthouse elopement. We knew that neither of us wanted the former, but I also knew that aesthetics are important enough to me that I wouldn't have been totally happy with the latter either. A pop-up wedding was perfect for us. Other awesome things: - We got our wedding pictures the next night! It was crazy, and such a nice surprise! Usually people wait weeks for those. - My husband and I are not photogenic. We're just not. But you would never guess that from our wedding photos. Maggie had a way of bringing out the best in us. We were so comfortable and giddily happy and stress free, that--not trying to sound vain here! it's a testament to her photography skills!--we look amazing in those photos. - The cake they provide is phenomenal. I didn't care about cake at all, but this was SO GOOD!

My husband and I got married by Steven at the Blue Jacket Brewery in DC in May 24, 2019. Before planning our wedding with Pop! Wed, we considered having a big wedding with our family and friends in our home state, WV, but the idea of spending more than $5,000 for a wedding made us sick. After sharing the idea with our close friends and family, we decided Pop! Wed was the BEST decision. Well 6 months later, I'm proud I made the decision to book our wedding with Pop! WED. Maggie and Steven were so accommodating to our needs and answered every question and concern I had. I was not disappointed with our experience and I had to do it again I would definitely keep Pop! Wed as my number one choice. Barbara, our photographer, was amazing and made me feel comfortable in front of the camera which isn't an easy task. I cannot wait to see and share the photos with our friends. Thank you so much for a stress free wedding! POP! Wed ROCKS!!! P.S. I forgot to mention the cake. It was the perfect ending to our already perfect day.
