I attended a wedding here in July. It was supposed to be an outdoor wedding. Unfortunately, it rained, so the wedding was held inside. It was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony was held in a room that was next to the grand ballroom. Two bars were set up right next to the front doors. I just got married earlier this month at oxchase Manor and it was a great venue for my reception. The venue itself from inside and out is done very well and feels expensive. The moment we parked and saw the venue from the outside then entering the venue to see the hallways and the ballroom., everything was amazing! In addition, the staff was attentive to all my guest. Sadly due to the cold weather I couldn't use the outdoor spaces but its a cute space that people should use if they have a spring and summer wedding/ The catering program with Jaipur was amazing and they sincerely delivered from beginning to end. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was some AV logistical issue with my entrance so if you do book make sure you have a dedicated Groomen or something to oversee the AV. read more

Attended a wedding here recently. The inside is decent, huge rooms, the reason for the less stars is that i just found it dull and drab, almost had an eerie vibe to it, the entrance to the property should be a bit more updated and welcoming, not much greenery or a festive, inviting look. The patio areas are pretty, depends how you decorate it for an outdoor event. But just entering the property and the first view of it is pretty dull and old looking. read more

After searching between several venues, we came across FoxChase. Beautiful venue and great customer service before we paid. Once we paid, customer service went down. They were hard to get a hold of and didnt advise us that they stopped doing ColdSparks which is something we mentioned since the beginning. It wasnt till our walk through (a month before the wedding) that they said we cannot do it because of a new county rule. We had already paid for ColdSparks with our DJ, which caused a breach in contract. That was strike 2 before our big day. On the big day, we had an issue with the bartender. Our wedding planner went to get us our drinks after our first dance. She went over and the bartender had no idea where the Prosecco was (they misplaced it) so she denied to make the drink for my wife. Then when we asked for another drink that we gave our instructions to, they said they cannot make it because they are missing lime. The steps we provided didn't ask for lime. That was strike 3. As the night was going on, we asked about the cocktail toppers that we bought and paid for to match with our monogram. None of our guests were given one and we brought it to the attention to our bartenders which they said they will do it. We asked about 20 guests after our honeymoon if they got any cocktail toppers or see it and they all said no. We also didnt get it back at the end of the night. I feel as they might have tossed it or misplaced it. We tried to follow up with the venue about our concerns in Mid October. Its already the end of January and we haven't heard back. I would steer clear from this venue if you dont want to deal with the headache. read more

Well-appointed and spacious venue, which easily accommodates hundreds of out of towers for an Indian wedding - and a horse! Came here for an awesome all-day wedding. First was the ceremony-cum-Indian lunch buffet. Then, after a few hours, we came back for the reception-cum-Indian dinner buffet. Plenty of space for two open bars, buffet line/tables, dessert station, a dance floor, and a bride & groom stage. And if there's one thing Indian weddings are known for, it's the dancing! This venue worth 0 star. This venue is a criminal and only try to make money out of you. We had our wedding in May and booked for 250 guests. We chose a Fusion Menu which include American and Asian menu. The Asian menu was supposed to be from New Fortune Restaurant which they are partner with the vendor. We had 4 items from the Chinese menu, which include Seafood fired rice, Lobsters, Crab claws, and Cold Cut Platter in Chinese styles. Sammy told us lobster will be extra charge. We agree to pay almost $3000 more to have lobster on top of the gold package price, as they said the restaurant vendor charge them more for lobster. We did a tasting for the American items when it was great. I emailed them 10 days before my wedding to make sure everything was in placed and if Food Menu was all set with the vendor. Penny emailed back and said the Chinese Restaurant (New Fortune) that they partnered with is CLOSED in business due to Covid-19. They told us they hired chef in house to make those Chinese food items. We were so worried about the food issue and requested for a tasting before the wedding day. Penny and Sammy contact us and told us "Not to be worried about the food" and "it will be good." On the day of the event, they replace our Cold Cut Platter with Fruit Station, the fired rice was undercooked and was so terrible that I had to tell them to take away and not to serve my guest anymore. Lobsters were so dry and horrible. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A SCAM!!! When planning the wedding, we asked Sammy several times that we want to make sure our guests can come up for food for second time. They closed the buffet earlier than what we had in the timeline contract. If I would not have emailed them to confirm, they would not have informed me. This is a breach of contract. Why would they even have contract and addendum for extra charge for lobster, then change half of the food item without our approval. This is our wedding and once lifetime event and IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Oner of my family member came up and ask for lobsters. They told him "There is no more". Then one of the staff when in and took out on lobster for him. Then they see 2 3 more people in line, the lady went in and took out a full lobster tray that had not been served. This is absolutely unacceptable. Penny is the worst event coordinator, very rude, unprofessional, and unethical I EVER SEEN. Please stay away from her and if you book the venue for your event, make sure she is not assigned as the person will run the event. We even requested and spoke with the Owner Amara and request for a refund of the food items we paid. After talking to him on the phone, he told us they will get back to us for a solution. No body even reach out to us until I sent them another email. The coordinator Penny emailed back and only answer the part of her service but NOTHING about what to do with messing up our food menu. From start to finish Foxchase Manor was more than accommodating and flexible to all of our wedding needs, budget, floorplan, vendors literally every aspect of a wedding they can accommodate. I had no idea that there would be so much hands on deck staff the day of my wedding and there was. This made me feel even more secure and happy than I already was. Everyone was attentive the entire evening. I am pregnant so to have so much support is a cerling that I can't describe. The venue is so beautiful, the lighting, the chandeliers serve as great complimentary decorations. The showroom linens and napkins are filled with options. Coming from someone who originally didn't want a wedding reception go with Foxchase Manor...you will not be disappointed! Great value great investment! A successful COVID-19/ winter storm wedding! If I could give a 0 star I would. This venue really don't know how to do business. Sammy and his team are really sneaky and will try everything to make you get their supposedly golden package that include everything. I did my wedding over there on August 20th and I was definitely not happy with the service. First of all if I can give an advice to anybody it will be to really have everything written down on the contract and pay attention to every details. They will try to make you get their package and will not keep their words the day of the wedding. Everything will sound like a good deal for you to sign the contract but once everything is signed they will trick you. So for me, I needed 250 guests and was ask to pay for 250 adults. So I told Sammy that I will have kids included in the 250 guests so therefore he agreed to charge me half price for the kids. So I accepted the deal and signed the contract. I was told to pay the full amount for 250 adults and will get the kids headcount the day of the last payment. Once the last payment and the kids headcount was communicate. They told me that I will get reimburse for the kids price, 30 days after the wedding with the security deposit. So I waited the 30 days and contacted them to have an update on the situation. And they told Me that they did not agreed to reimburse me the money. And told me that they said they will only add chairs for kids. The day of the wedding. So at the end I never got my money reimburse. Moreover the day of the tasting for the food. I was told by the owner of the restaurant that I had to take items out of the menu. But the day I signed the contract I was told that the full menu with the golden package will be cater by fortune restaurant. So after arguing with the restaurant , I was told by Jason (the manager) that they never agreed to do the full menu in the golden package that foxchase offer to their customers. So he was basically lying from the beginning for me and my wife to sign the contract. So we ended up with incomplete Menu. They are really unprofessional and will try to get every pennies out of you. Definitely not a good team. Me and my family Will never plan anything with them. And Sammy the manager is definitely unprofessional and arrogant. read more

If I could give anyone throwing a wedding in the DC area a piece of advice it would be to book at Foxchase Manor! They hosted my wedding on June 18 and it was A+ service at an affordable price. I can't say enough good things! Venue - First, the venue is absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking. The beautiful pillars on the exterior, paired with the gorgeous chandeliers and detailing on the interior make this one exquisite venue! It looks as gorgeous in person as it does in photos! Quality of Service - Sammy and his team are extremely helpful and accommodating, willing to work with any budget or special requests you may have. His team was there to answer all of my questions and accommodate every request, even a last minute change to the floor plan and size of the DJ stage. Value - Foxchase offers many different packages to accommodate any budget and I honestly think we got the most bang for a buck at this venue than we could anywhere else. I went with a full package including dinner, passed hors d'oeuvres, staff, bar service and table settings and linens. Unlike other venues, Chivari chairs and linens you can hand pick out are included in the venue price! Most other venues will tack on extra charges for these upgrades, but not Foxchase. Food - Last but not least, the food. We had a full tasting with Sammy and his team of chefs about 60 days before the wedding (we had a buffet set up) and my family and I were blown away with how delicious and flavorful the food was! We know that there is a difference in cooking for 5 people and over 300 people, so we were blown away on the night of the wedding to discover the food was just as good, or even better (if that was even possible)! The menu offerings are plentiful and diverse, offering American, French and other ethnic cuisines. Everything was absolutely delicious! People kept saying it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding and I agree. If I had to do it all again, I'd still pick Foxchase! read more

Attended a party recently. The Host had paid for everything food, drinks and gratuities. In addition he had tipped the service staff. On the entrance there was a Bar with a ugly Bartender. I asked him a Drink and he shoved a container crudely demanding a Tip. I ignored him and reported him to the Manager. She said she would have him removed. to the end of the party he was still there. I took a picture of the Bartender and forwarded it to the Lady! My friends at the Party said this Guy harassed them in the past at other parties that were hosted here. read more

Having your wedding at Fox Chase Manor would probably be the worst mistake anyone could make. Although the venue is nice (due to Stylish Click being amazing), the staff there has no idea what they're doing and don't cater well to guest. Not to mention the owner Sammie is extremely rude. He's very nice when trying to get you through the door but as soon as you put that deposit down and money is paid his true colors come out. One of the most difficult people I had to deal with overall. I'm extremely disappointed and wish I had chosen to do this wedding event elsewhere. Oweful experience .....they have a planner her name is PENNY hs is the worse person by far. I need at least 10 pages to describe her attitude and behavior. She always anger and mad ....doesn't know what smile means. First, she was screaming at bridesmaids and grooms men to get them in line. She overcharge us and did a very poor job. We had ceremony outside and provide her with all materials that she was suppose to apply a head of our ceremony..did not happened. Appetizer came 25 minutes late and amount can bearly feed 100 people while we paid for little over 200. She pulled the groom while he is taking his weddding picture to complain about of of the guests and forced him to leave the photo location to go inside. She prevent the photographer to take photo while food is coming to table. We brought a lot of desserts and instruct PENNY to announce the buffet dessert is open which she did not and instead, she remove the dessert early with most people did not even know that there was dessert serving and pulled to kitchen. She pull some and handed to us after she stole most of our desserts . We paid in full more than 2 weeks in advance and had up to one week to edit the number, we dropped the number and never receive the refund according to the contract. The place has very poor management with no leadership. Send emails and leave massages with no one to return our calls. We try to resolve this issue professionally but no response. Now we will take them to court and submit the following: our contract - video my guests took to PENNY screaming to the grooms mom - pictures to the appetizer with very poor quality and very little quantity. Dip came with a small spoon that dropped inside the bowl and guests had to use a regular falk to serve dip, when we asked her for serving spoon she screemed saying I do not work for you and I listen only to the groom or his bride.. BELOW ZERO customer service. Will keep warning people from booking with this venue or use this awful PENNY. Will see them In court. read more

My sister had her wedding here and it turned out amazing. She and my parents were so happy after everything was said and done. My sister chose the place because of the options they provided with linens and being able to work with outside caterers. My parents loved it because they understood how ethnic weddings unraveled unexpectedly and that they were prepared for anything. All the guests were commenting on how beautiful the hall was and how organized everything was. We've attended weddings there before but I don't think they were utilizing their preferred vendors to enhance their experience. The staff made sure things went seamlessly from the get go, I didn't have to worry about a single thing from set up to break down. I had my wedding here a couple years back. Let me start off by saying that Sammy is a CROOK. First of all, before our wedding, I attended a wedding here 3 weeks before. The food at the wedding was cold, so I made it a point to tell him to make sure our food stayed warm for our wedding. We were supposed to have a 3rd party contracted event coordinator as a part of the contract that we signed. A couple months before the wedding he tells us that he has fired that company and will be doing the event coordination in-house with some girl who had seemingly zero experience. She actually disappeared during the wedding into her office because she was stressed out. We knew the owners of the restaurant that would be catering for our event, who also happened to do business with Foxchase Manor. As a favor to us, given that we are family friends, the restaurant added some extra food and sides at no extra cost. Several times before our wedding, we told Sammy that we want to take the leftovers of the food back home, since it was a buffet dinner and we had paid for all of it. He was supposed to have his staff pack the remaining food in containers to give to my family at the end of the night. As the wedding drew to a close, I asked his in-house event coordinator (forgot her name) to please load the food into our family's car. She was confused and told me that all the leftover food had been thrown out. I was shocked, given that she had sat in on the final meeting where we covered this point. A friend of mine told me that he saw the staffers loading food from the kitchen into their own vehicles. CROOKS. The next morning I called Sammy to ask him about this and he started yelling at me, saying that taking the remainder of the food home was not in our contract and that I had no right to it. He also snapped at me for having reminded him to keep the food warm, stating that it was a huge insult to "tell [him] how to do [his] job". It also took him several months to send back the proper deposit. He shorted me the first time and I had to call him to get it corrected. Several family members and friends have asked me to provide them the information for our wedding venue, and I have all told them all to STAY AWAY from this place. Beautiful venue for all types of events especially weddings but terrible customer services. The staff there has no idea what they're doing and they're so disrespectful. They are very nice when they get you through the door and received full or partial payment. And its crazy how they cash the check the next day but takes more then 30 business day for them to reimburse your security deposit. My experience at this venue has been the worst and I don't recommend. One of our first problem was the table linens. We selected table linens and on the day of our wedding they didn't have enough and decided to put a different one without our approve, thinking that we wouldn't notice. They were disrespectful to my family when they realize that difference and my family ask why they were using different linens. Secondly, I requested numbers signs on each table and there were no signs at all. They have an amazing patio with the lights stringers that turn on at night time. I ask if cocktail table can be place out only if the weather was acceptable (which weather was 89F) turn on the lights at night. Got approve however nothing was place outside. Got darker and the lights were still not ON. Ask staff to turn them ON and they look clueless. They had no idea how to however told us they were damage. We requested a white dancing floor which was not in included in our package but we were willing to pay for. The white floor was the worst. There ever multiple bubbles and all we were told was they were short in staff. These are just a few things that went wrong and sadly there's more. I'm extremely disappointed and wish I had chosen to do my wedding elsewhere. I would recommend you to save your money for somewhere else where you will receive better customer service and they see your wedding vision and will do their best to make it the best. we know nothing is perfect the staff didn't put any effort. Sammy and Alison were a huge help that weekend, and I wouldn't have survived any of the planning process with out Patty. She was absolutely wonderful every step of the way. The bartenders and staff were so incredibly sweet and kind but unfortunately they were being constantly yelled at, rather SCREAMED at by management during the event. Venue is absolutely gorgeous and everyone was so accommodating and professional! Allison is just amazing - everything went off without a hitch from a venue perspective. The reason for my two 4.5 ratings - the Thursday prior to my wedding, I went to te venue to set up several things (hot chocolate bar, votives, gift table) and encountered one of the rudest women I've ever had the unfortune to deal with. Allison was off that Thursday, and I believe this woman was working on Allison's day off. She made very rude comments about my hot chocolate bar ("that is going to look so ugly when liquid drips on that cloth") and told me she wasn't going to be able to get me the extra linens I had ordered in time for my wedding (she also told me I would need to pay extra for those). It was a terrible experience dealing with her, and had she not been there, it would have been an all 5-star rating! Again, Allison is amazing and the venue was simply beautiful - I would highly recommend Foxchase Manor. read more
