I want to thank Sasha, Noah and Jon for their assistance with getting our transfer from AT&T to Cox. It was a struggle at first due to my Samsung not being able to unlock but Sasha and Noah found a work around. I was still not happy that I had to buy the same phone because of that but they gave me a 700$ trade-in on a thousand dollar phone which helped us out. I am not sure what else to say about these guys..we were treated with the upmost respect and my wife and I felt that we were their number one priority. For me they went above and beyond to satisfy our needs and I couldn't be happier. I will never change carriers again because of those folks who work there. I pay for 1 Gigabit, high speed internet. I get max 630 megabits, just about two-thirds of what I pay for. Every time I try to call the store I don't get an answer. When I call their toll-free number I get hung up on at least once. The other day I asked for service and the technician came over and said he wouldn't help me. He was lazy! Came up with a bunch of reasons why he couldn't do the job instead of finding solutions. I simply want more than one device hooked up via cat5/6 but now Cox says they don't run Cat cables for customers who aren't security system customers. I pay $100 for horrible service. To top that off it disconnects at least five times per month. Cox service is horrible. We need competition to move in to bust up this monopoly. read more

We recently received a letter from Cox advising us that our WI modem needed to be upgraded. We received the new modem, when we tried to activate it, we just could not get it done. Called Cox,after a considerable length of time, were advised we would have a technician come out to address this situation. The cost would be determined by the tech. BUT!!! If we would sign up for a $5.00 monthly charge and pay this charge there would be no additional cost. Extortion!!!!. Cox pulls this stuff because they have a monopoly in this area. We are senior citizens who are not very tech savvy. When I asked to talk to a supervisor, all I got was a runaround. Terrible company! I'm 71 with a 480 credit score due to bankruptcy after my husbands 3 back surgeries, but I got there unlimited internet and good tv package on 4 TVs and they installed all new voice controlled receivers. My son got the same packages and they installed him a bunch of old 1990 receivers and huge remotes. When we called they tried to say it was because of his credit score and he would have to pay $50 per tv to upgrade. He has a 660 credit score but has Down syndrome and they seen someone to take advantage of and that's it. A complete discriminatory and crooked company!!!!!!!!! read more
