Yes, I agree with Tiff C. and I don't even have the service hook up yet and they screwed me with the pricing. We went to Bayou office yesterday and brought this letter they sent me for a new customer. we want to sign up for Silver Bundle so I handed this guy Craig the letter I got in the mail and I told him if you can beat $131.00 that U-verse is charging me it will be great, because the Silver Bundle is only $119.99 with tax we know it will go to up to almost and even over $130.00. At first he gave us a price after he looked at his computer and told us the lowest he can go is $254.00, I was shock from what I heard and told him that it's kind of high and responded I can lower it down if you change how many programs you can record. I asked to how many? He said to 3 programs and I asked how much if we lower it to three? He said $179.00, I told him that still didn't beat U-verse price. He turned around and said we can lower it more if you go to just 2 programs to be recorded and go to Bronze and it will be $154.00. To myself, I said this guys is something else. He's just want to take us for a ride. So we played his game and signed up and port my phone number but you know I don't stop there. As soon as we got home I called the call center and told the lady on the other line what had happened. And you know what she told me, she said I know what he did, he is charging you $309.00 and he did you guys a-la-carte. Boy, I tell you what a F$#%*^@! stupid guy. I told her he promised us $154.00 and whatever happened to the Silver Bundle that we wanted that was offered on that letter. We are supposed to get, all the great Bronze Bundle features plus internet speed up to 100 mbps, access to over 260 channels-including HBO, HBO GO and HBO on Demand, with access to every episode of ever season of the best HBO shows, get even more premium content with Showtime, STARZ, Cinemax and not to mentioned the $100 prepaid card. Boy, what a D#$%head that guys is. I told her I don't want that crap and she said she have to can cancel it and start all over again. Although I didn't get everything they said on the letter, hers is better than that A@#hole Craig. she promised me $154.00 for the whole thing and boy even her is giving me the shaft. For that price, I might as well go for the gold $149.99 and get everything right. Boy, what a screw up employee this company has. A bunch of cheaters and liars. Where do I start. Cox Customer Service is aweful. Got interenet only service back n December 2018/January 2019 supposedly at a promotion price. February I decided to add cable tv. When I received my equipment for cable on 2/15, I changed my mind and turned the equipment back in 2/16. When I received my bill to check my charges I called back to c.s. to discuss. The Rep said I needed to call to cancel the cable service ( wasn't told that when the equipment was turned in). She then asked me if I wanted the cable service????( y would I want cable service if I turned the equipment back in. She then transferred me to another DEPT to supposedly cancel cable. I spoke to another Rep. I said I was told I needed to cancel my cable after turning in my equipment. I reiterated my cable only. I notice the weekend I could not connect to the internet at all so I called customer service to check the status n was told by a rep that my cable n internet was canceled. The internet was not my request to cancel. The rep stated she could not help me any further do to the DEPT I needed was closed n would not reopen until Monday ( I was advised n I did called back on Monday to get my internet restored. I received a bill at a different amount from what I was originally charged for internet. I called back to C.S. about my bill again to be told I can't get my original charge because I cancelled my internet (the previous Rep cancelled my internet that should have been cable only). The Rep argued back n forth with me until I disconnected the call. I called back spoke to someone else. I went to explain my reason for calling after about 3 minutes the call got dropped ( no return call back from that rep. I call back n spoke to another rep again I explain the reason I was calling. The rep was in the middle of at least trying to understand and had to put me on hold only to come back to the phone to say his supervisor stated he had been on the call too long and he needed to disconnect. I made a final call that day to now I am terminating my service. I still have yet to have anyone call me back. read more

I got an unexpected charge for a closed account over equipment already returned and was charged for it a whole month after the fact. Literally cant get a hold of anyone even with their "24/7" virtual robots. $122 for equipment. If anyone uses Cox be careful and keep an eye on them this isn't the first time they screwed me over. Nothing but thieves taking advantage of people during the pandemic. Last day with them was March 31st. April 1st showed final charge of $7. Returned the equipment on April 9th. Then April 27th had a whole new charge for May-June to be paid on may 17th for the equipment. Mind you I was no longer at that address and did not find out about their scam till now. read more

I have been with cox in Pensacola for over 11 years. I decided to upgrade to a better service. I was lied to about the whole plan/bill. I called and it is a matter of record concerning my issues with said above. Everytime I spoke to a cox representive, I requested they document the conversation. They lied/misspoke on every occasion. I am retired military and wanted something better and got the shaft. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COX to anyone out there. My Cox business phone would cut out on us at least once per week while we were talking to customers. Complained about it LOTS of times. Finally, we cancelled. Cox initially said there wouldn't be a cancelation fee. After we switched to AT&T (and are very happy I must add), Cox decides to charge us a $1,000 cancelation fee! read more
