We rode the bike here on Sunday to purchase helmets, order a key, get a few shirts and a poker chip. The staff wasn't to helpful we asked the lady about trying on some helmets she said give her a minute. We waited set down listened to her laughing and talking with some guys up front. She never come back to help us. We walked out right past her and she never said a word. In all they do have a beautiful show room and I hope the service isn't always this bad. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and say it was a slow Sunday and no one felt like being there. If I come back it'll be during the week. read more

Avoid this dealership! We left our motorcycle there for repairs after an accident, and while waiting for the insurance claim to be approved, they handed our motorcycle over to an auction house without our consent. The manager Will at Cox Double Eagle Harley claimed the insurance company contacted them, despite our clear instructions to the service department (Troy and Alex) not to release the motorcycle until we gave our consent. Alex ignored our instructions and released it anyway. We requested paperwork for the release, but were told none existed. It's unacceptable to release a customer's vehicle without any documentation. The insurance company did not request an immediate pick-up; they only asked if the motorcycle was ready. Alex confirmed it was ready without our consent. This conduct is highly unprofessional and illegal. Avoid this place to avoid similar headaches! read more

Poor customer service. The owner will walk right past you without acknowledging your presence. Even standing at the register with $150 shirt in your hands, he will walk up to the register, and not even acknowledge you're standing there. No wonder this place has no business.. read more

Absolutely ridiculous customer service for their riding academy. Needed to reschedule my class due to conflicts... Emailed + called for 3 WEEKS with NO RESPONSE. By the time I FINALLY got through, the class I wanted was full because no one knows how to use the phone or respond to emails apparently. I asked to get on the waitlist for the weekend I wanted and reschedule my class, to which they told me I was the 2nd person on the waitlist. Fine, great. I checked my emails to realize they rescheduled me to the wrong date. Emailed them again, to move it to the correct date and check my waitlist status only to find out I was never added to the waitlist and now its FULL TOO! If the next shop wasn't an hour away, I'd take my business elsewhere. Absolutely terrible experience, will never give them my business again. EVER. read more

I live about 45 minutes from 4 different Harley dealers. Of course, any of them are happy to take my money but I've generally been going to Cox Double Eagle Harley-Davidson near Pinehurst. Nice folks, or so I thought, but, after my experience last weekend, I won't be going back. Any dealer can sell you stuff but what defines a dealer is how well they treat you when there are issues. Let me explain: On the Sunday before Memorial Day, I stopped at Cox and bought over $850 worth of parts for my bike. The next day, I discovered that one of the grips I bought was defective; the end cap on the right-side grip was loose and obviously not applied correctly. I figured 'No big deal'; I'll take it back and they'll swap it out for a good one. Unfortunately, it wasn't that easy. When I arrived, they acted like I had just rode 45 minute to try to scam them out of a 40-dollar part. The first person I spoke with stated that because I installed the grips myself there was no warranty what-so-ever. That's silly considering that there are installation instructions in the package. This same guy also said that I had to take the left grip off my bike and return them as a pair instead of just swapping out the bad one for a good one in a package. Next, the General Manager came over and, for several minutes, examined the part with a flashlight to be sure that I had not caused the defect. Finally, once it became apparent that there was no way he could blame the problem on me, he reluctantly agreed to exchange. Wait... there's more... another one of the items I bought rang up for $10 more than the price shown on the box. I asked that they refund the difference. Nope! They said "the prices on the items are just for the customer's convenience" and they charge whatever price is on the computer when you get to the register. I won't be doing business with anyone who treats their customers this way. I suggest you don't either. read more

I love to write reviews for great service I hope this helps all fellow riders driving thru in their decisions. I was riding from Raleigh to Charlotte in a fun ride thru side roads away from the Highway this is a great area to ride if you are in NC. When my bike started to run very rough with loud embarrassing explosions. I decided to ride to the nearest dealer I was in a gas station and this two riders on their cage immediately came out to assist my question about the nearest Harley dealer and highly recommended the place. Was I lucky or what, Once I arrived the friendly service department guy that assisted me, I told him the problem and told him about my day possibly being ruined he told me confidently not to worry they will assist me and get me on my way. I was there about 30 minutes they diagnosed it and fixed my bike. I was able to complete my ride with no problems and the repair did not break or dent the bank. I will recommend this place highly. Great service had some coffee the sales girls very friendly and courteous.. I will sure stop by this store every chance I get. read more

I can only write about the harley side of the place. there is also a metric side. They do not have every harley accessory known to man. This is a dealership for people who actually ride. The old guy up front, Tommy, comes off a little rough, but after you get to know him just a little you realize that he is a pretty amazing grumpy old dude with a heart of gold. The service dept is amazing. Really thorough, honest and up front about everything. I drive an hour one way past another harley dealer to take my bike there. As long as I live in the area I will take my bike there for maintenance and services. read more
