Lots of parking available on the Sunday that I visited! The owner graciously let me browse without pressure, and offered up recommendations based on what I was interested in. He also had several of his own publications available, one of which I took home with me. Lots of local authors in his inventory, as well as new and used copies of interesting and/or renowned titles from a multitude of genres. But the main highlight is their science fiction offerings, 100/10 would stop in again. Highly recommend for bookworms who have a penchant for small publishing houses!

It was way more than what I had expected! At first glance it seems like it's the tiniest thing, but once you start wandering through you'll notice that there are so many sections with tons and tons of all sorts of books, new and used! I only had a limited amount of time so I had to rush through but I was still able to find 3 books for myself... all used but in GREAT condition. $15 for all 3! The owner of the shop was also amazing... super warm and welcoming! This will definitely not be my last time visiting the store because I plan to return on my next trip back to Joshua tree :)

I wanted to purchase a book that was on my TBR list, so we decided to visit the bookstore. I walked in, and the same woman greeted us with what felt like a forced hello. I asked if they had a certain book. I wasn't sure whether it was classified as a thriller or a mystery, so I said thriller. They did have the book, but when she handed it to me, she said, "It's actually horror," in a condescending and mean tone. I certainly hope she isn't the owner because she could use some serious customer service training. At the very least, she could learn how to be kind to customers. I definitely will NOT be back.

This place is designed for spiritual practice with rooms for meditation. A very peaceful environment for your inner self. My kids and I found the sculptures really interesting so we took pictures for memory. We even found a road runner along the way which followed us underneath a tree tunnel. The grounds were extremely beautiful with a small pond area. You can have lunch at the cafe, but it wasn't open when we visited. It's a must you check out their gift shop because two kind ladies assisted warmly greeting us upon entering the store. They sold jewelry, t-shirts, so many arts, keychains, and so much more. We did the 1hr experience and all of the cats were very friendly and loving. The hour was filled with lots of love, snuggles, pets and relaxation. I wish I could take them all home with me!
