For this reason, even though DiMaggio's was about a half mile from my hotel I decided to get it delivered. Usually when I order pizza delivered I expect it to be lukewarm or even somewhat cold, but that was not the case. My pie was piping hot. So hot it scorched the roof of my mouth (my fault). But I do fault DiMaggio's for having such delicious pizza that I couldn't stop eating or even slow down. The toppings were all fresh and bountiful. Not just a sprinkle here and there, the toppings were enough to give you a taste of everything in every bite. And I'm not a single, two or three topping kind of guy. I had Italian sausage, green peppers, mushrooms, onions and black olives. I cannot remember when I had a better pizza as of late and I had pizza in New York three weeks ago. The pic I posted only shows what is left after I inhaled the rest. I believe this will be a delicious cold pizza breakfast in the morning.
