I also love that they have some nice options for beverages. I got the Ginger lemonade refresher which was so good! They sadly don't have my favorite salad (pesto with mozzarella) so when I went back with friends I tried a Protein Power play Acai bowl. Either the staff didn't hear me (as the music is sooo loud in there) or they are all green and have no clue what I'm talking about. I ordered it at the end and dang is it spendy... it was fresh but not as flavorful as some of the competitors. Also... if you haven't been... they don't accept cash... or the menus are not longer printed for you to look at before going into line. read more

This location experience was the most poorly ran, operated, managed crisp and green I have been to. Took 40 extra minutes past our expected time for pickup, was out of several items and decided to make my smoothie first, before making the food so by the time I received my entire order. I had a smoothie that was Luke warm and a meal that had multiple substitutions. All around, this place needs better management. read more

I have visited this establishment several times and have consistently had positive experiences, which makes this review particularly disappointing to write. During a recent afternoon visit with my husband, he went to find a seat while I placed our order. I provided our selections to the first employee, who began preparing the bowl. Typically, at the second stage of preparation, staff confirm protein choice and ask about any modifications. On this occasion, that confirmation did not occur. While briefly distracted by a question, grilled chicken was added to the bowl. I always substitute blackened chicken. When I noticed the error, I politely asked if blackened chicken could simply be added and stated I would gladly pay any additional charge. Instead of resolving the request, the employee at the second station began lecturing me about how I "should have specified" the type of chicken. I responded calmly and said it was fine. However, she continued, adding that they "don't want food wasted." At that point, I clarified that it was food I was purchasing and therefore not her concern. Rather than de-escalating, she continued in a raised and condescending tone. The interaction felt unnecessary and disproportionate to what was a simple, easily correctable request. Even the employee at the register appeared visibly uncomfortable. What made this experience especially troubling was not the initial mistake , mistakes happen, but the public scolding that followed. Being reprimanded loudly over a minor request, felt humiliating and unwarranted. Customer service should prioritize resolution over reprimand. A calm clarification or simple solution would have sufficed. Despite the interaction, I still left a tip. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. This location has previously delivered excellent service, and I would like to see that standard upheld consistently for all patrons. read more

Took the family for lunch here a couple of weeks ago. One person got a smoothie and the rest got salads. Food was excellent - 5*. Business practices not so much. They enter all of your orders into the cash register, but there isn't a screen for you to see what they've input. Once they're done ringing you up, they simply say $85 (or whatever amount). I paid and had to ask for a receipt. I reviewed the receipt and see they charged us for an extra salad. Now they kindly took it off the bill and re-ran our credit card, but then didn't give us a receipt for that transaction. And they upcharge you for certain salad toppings, proteins, etc. so it isn't easy to know what's right just by the $ amount. In 2025, how do you not have a cash register screen?... unless you're hoping people don't see how things added up?? read more

I placed an order online that was supposed to be ready at 6:08, I got there a 2 minutes early so I asked a member of the staff if they were working on it. He told me they were so I waited for 10 minutes. When it still wasn't ready, I asked another staff member who assured me they were working on it. I waited 10 more minutes and it still wasn't ready. I talked to another staff member who was very rude and told me that they place their "to-go" orders on the shelf, I said, "it's not there, I checked as soon as I got here and I've been keeping an eye on if anything is placed there." After she walked away, I talked to another guy who finally gave me my order at 6:30, only to come home and have to toss it out because it's clearly rotten! I tried Crisp & Green for the first time and I now understand the hype! It was hard to pick from the menu because all of the options sounded great, but I went with the chicken bacon ranch salad. The salad was very good and I would definitely get it again. It comes with pickled onions on it which aren't normally my thing, but I'm glad I left them on because the acidity enhanced the flavor of the salad. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The inside has large windows that make the space bright and airy, and they have a nice patio with plenty of outdoor seating. No issues with parking as there's a big lot right out front. I might be hypnotized by really good marketing or trendy bowls and appearance, but something just feels more healthy about eating at Crisp & Green. There's a lot of options and nearly endless combinations of you build your own but I prefer the bold and the buffalo or the cinco de light. Even for dinner when looking for a satisfying meal, salads from here tend to fill me up. Good portions and great flavorful tasting food. The app is actually pretty handy, makes ordering really easy and there's some kind of VIP feeling about just walking in and grabbing your food. This location has ample seating and a decent patio but tends to get busy, especially at lunch. If you're counting on a spot to sit, you might have to wait for a table. read more

I don't usually leave negative reviews but after reading other recent comments on yelp, I wanted to share my similar experience with customers service. The service did not meet the standards set at other Crisp & Green locations. The employee dishing out the salads miss heard my order and when corrected-- I was accused of saying the wrong order. Not a polite response to a simple mistake. I admittedly tend to request changes to my order and each request was met an unfriendly response. I was also disappointed in the quality as I had many dried scrapings of quinoa. All together pretty disappointed. The 4 people working there seemed to ALL be brand new as no one knew how to do anything - make salads and use the register. CRISP & GREEN - if you are out of an ingredient please let a customer know WHEN THEY ORDER, not mid-way through making their salads!!! It's not that hard. They were out of 6 things including chicken! CHICKEN a main ingredient but didn't let anyone ahead of us know or us until our salads were being made. How about a No Prob Cobb without tomatoes, bacon and chicken! Also out of apples, cucumbers and corn. Like put closed on the door if you have nothing left to make most ingredients that all salads need. So many people were pissed about it. One lady asked one of the servers who was doing absolutely NOTHING behind the second counter to clean off some tables and the girl stomped out and cleaned them all pissed off and started screeching chairs across the floor instead of pulling them up and moving them. I had a free salad and the girl didn't know how to ring it up, she had to call the supervisor who seemed pissed to come out of the back room to help. He didn't say one word to us - no apology for having to wait - nothing! Like embarrassing! FIRE HIM! Hire a manager and good quality workers who are friendly and maybe don't have all the new people on the same shift. Unfriendly servers are the worst and you have become the worst! The Maple Grove Crisp and Green location is absolutely horrible with their online ordering service. The past 3 times I have placed an online order here, I have waited almost an hour past my "promised pickup time" in the store for my order. Today I placed an online order at 4:00PM for it to be ready at 5:30PM, and I got there and it still was not ready. The workers are also not friendly. First I will start with the good. The food was wonderful. We really liked what we ordered. On the other hand service was not good. When you get up to the counter and the girls waiting to help do the not it game it's not a good start. There was no greeting of hello just a what are you having? Why is this salad place so freaking good and addicting?! For me, I love that the meat isn't a second thought. I never like chicken from salad places, pizza places, etc. It's typically under flavored and you can tell it's old. The Buffalo chicken here was so good. Dressing selections are huge and so good, and so many amazing toppings. I wish I could eat here every day. Super expensive to order from home, I don't know if Postmates has a glitch or something because just the base (like literally no lettuce or anything is $13. Trying whole 30 with the wife and we wanted to try this new location in Maple Grove. It fit with our meal planning and was delicious. Warning this place has none of the Midwest goodness people have come to expect! The salad menu is on the wall when you walk in and there are bowl options as well. Add fresh water and smoothies and you pretty much have the menu. I highly recommend the no Cobb salad and any of their delicious smoothies! Today was the day I decided to risk it all. My lunch break would be a little longer than the allowed half hour, but I would do it for Yelp. (Also, I've been dying to try this place). Crisp & Green renewed my already extremely strong love for Caesar salad...if you can believe that. I'm still trying to get over it. Their food is really good. I also got a smoothie but it tasted a little too grainy in my opinion. I wish it was a little more flavorful. Everything has balance so I'll take the iffy smoothie with the amazing salad. Crisp & green reminds me of an airport. It's bright, busy, and efficient. Even with a ton of people in line at peak lunch time I wasn't waiting more than 10 minutes. I liked the environment and the food which makes this a place I'd like to return to frequently. What I would've liked to see from Crisp & Green was direction for new guests and slightly lower prices. I feel like $18 was steep especially in a place like Maple Grove where there are a ton of other options. I also didn't know where the silverware was and I missed it when my smoothie was ready. Still, their employees were friendly and made an effort to make conversation. All things considered, I would return to Crisp & Green 100%. I'm already craving another salad! read more

Great concept. Fresh salads, fast casual, lovely setting. Service is pretty good, but when I asked for an adult version of one of the kids bowls they just charged me twice for the kids bowl. I could have just did the make your own bowl and have been charged less for one normal bowl than for 2 kids bowls poured into one normal bowl. Just annoying that's all. Portion size isn't the greatest but it was a win on a Monday when most other restaurants were closed. Will I come back? Probably but only if other options aren't available. I would be interested in trying their breakfast items. Oh we also had one of the smoothies, not great, banana date or something like that, not worth remembering, wouldn't get it again. Also, behind the counter where salads are being made was a disaster....floor was a mess, dirty dishes stacked and overflowing under counter. Takeout * First Time I ordered vegan and created my own bowl and got the strawberry sunrise smoothie. The smoothie didn't pack a huge flavor punch it was still very refreshing. The bowl was AMAZING. I added a lot of add-ons because it was my first time and wanted to make sure it was filling. It was, so I'll probably take a few off next time. I'll definitely come back. Mostly a big bowl of lettuce greens with additions. A bit on the expensive side since it's not a very large bowl. I had the Thai Salad. Lots of lettuce, some carrots, radish and medium shrimp, about 7 or 8, and a bit of dressing. All for about $15.00. I was told a side of pita chips were extra, but the corn chips or a very small piece of bread was no charge (which is not the same as free). I'm not sure if go back. read more

Of course, every last single crisp and Green in Minnesota is very beautiful bright. Customer service is great. I go to this location in Maple Grove all the time because I live close by. They're very accommodating sweet. I love the food here. I always get a a Greek out bowl I'm vegan so I don't eat the cheese. I LOVE Crisp & Green- but NOT this location- we live closest to Maple Grove but will avoid this location specifically. Many friends comment on this too!! It is a "known" issue to those that eat at Maple Grove restaurants how this Crisp and Green skimps on their salads!!! ALL the other locations pile the lettuce HIGH!! ALL of them except this one. I didn't have time to drive to St Paul or Edina location, but again- EVERY single time have to ask them to put MORE lettuce. It's like a 15 dollar side salad!! So many times there is 2 inch space to the top of the bowl. The other locations pile it high!!! Last night the girl helping me got snippy and said "we are the only ones that are Doing the portions right". The other locations are wrong. It's a joke how little ingredients they put in the bowl for ONLY this location!!! I have complained before about it. I am not one to write bad reviews, because I love Crisp & Green- but my whole family and many friends do not like this location MAPLE GROVE because they SKIMP on portions!! The menu and the pics are great, but they do not serve it like in the pictures. Of course I'm going to compare it to Zupa across the street, and Zupa wins without a doubt. Here is the main thing, and it turned me off before I even took a bite: they toss it with the toppings. The presentation looks nothing like the pictures. They need to do it like Zupa where they toss the salad with the dressing and then place the toppings on top and let us mix it ourselves. With the rice bowls, maybe serve the dressing g on the side. I asked for light dressing and it was still drenched. Bleh! They way they are doing it, they can't beat Zupa in price, presentation, or flavor. They need umbrellas outside for shade. I had downloaded their app since the last time I'd been there and earned myself a free salad That's right- they give you a free salad just for downloading their app!! I ordered the wild wild southwest and the no prob Cobb. Both were delicious, but I honestly prefer the cinco de light vs the wild wild southwest. The Cobb was on point as usual, I could drink that dressing it is so good! My only compliant is that it's $13 for a salad, but I really do love this place. read more
