Didn't…read moreeven let me know someone would not be coming out and completely ignored text messages when I reached out for updates. Terrible communication, completely unreliable. There are hundreds of pool companies. Don't waste your time with this one.

The owner of this company, Rod, got right back to me within minutes. I was a little panicked…read morebecause my pool wasn't operating properly and I was about to have a large pool party. Despite the fact it was after hours (evening before the party), Rod actually spent 20 minutes with me via FaceTime to diagnose the problem, assist me with repairing a valve and priming a pump. He provided me with specific instructions and he was able to get everything working again all via FaceTime. HE DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! He was sympathetic to my time critical situation, and he genuinely wanted to be helpful. He would not accept any money despite my insistence. You just don't see this type of authentic integrity anymore. Excellent work ethic, extremely knowledgeable, quick response, and he didn't feel right charging me simply because he wasn't there in person. The FaceTime instruction was extremely educational and his thorough step-by-step guidance was spot on. He was very patient with me. Other companies said it would be $475 just to come out and take a look. This is the only company I will use for all my future pool service needs. Hard to find people like Rod these days. Thank you!!!

Not a happy camper. We have enjoyed our pool maintenance from Cool Pools, they ensure its in excellent condition. Always provide any pricing before hand which give us the chance to look it over.

1-Star Review Our experience with Cool Pools over the two…read moreyears we rented our home was completely unacceptable. Cool Pools was the pool company hired through our property management company AH Properties and unfortunately, dealing with them became a significant source of frustration and concern. During our tenancy, Cool Pools damaged our personal property, and despite bringing the damage to the attention of both Cool Pools and the property management company, neither was willing to take responsibility or reimburse us for the damages. We also became increasingly concerned about the maintenance and safety of the pool water. Because we did not feel our concerns were being adequately addressed, we ultimately paid out of our own pocket during the final year of our lease to have the pool water tested and water analysis from professionals, we hired a neutral company that was highly reputable with great reviews! The results showed only approximately 55% overall water-test quality, with concerning levels of chlorine, TDS, pH, and alkalinity, including both excessively high and excessively low readings. Whenever we raised questions or concerns, our interactions with the property management were often deflected rather than focused on resolving the issues. Because we wanted objective answers regarding the condition and safety of the pool, we chose to rely on independent professionals and paid for professional water testing ourselves. It is extremely disappointing to have paid rent expecting as advertised in the lease agreement a properly maintained and safe pool, only to have to spend our own money investigating problems that we believe should have been addressed by the pool company and property management. Based on our two-year experience, we would not recommend Cool Pools to others. Our experience left us feeling that our concerns were not taken seriously, and the refusal to address the property damage shows how they handled simple customer service issues. You get what you pay for!

Last year (at the end of May), this company replaced the motor on my pool pump and charged me $660…read morefor the repair, which included a 1-year warranty on the motor. At the time, a complete pump replacement, including labor and taxes, was around $1,600. Fast forward to this year: the motor failed less than 1.5 months after the warranty expired. Given how close the failure was to the warranty period, I contacted the company hoping they would offer some goodwill assistance or a reasonable discount. Instead, I was quoted between $2,150 and $2,800 for a replacement, depending on the model and horsepower, with only a $100 discount offered. What makes this especially frustrating is that the 1.5 HP pump model they quoted is available online for around $1,150. The pricing difference feels excessive. Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about using this company for repairs. I understand warranties have limits, but I expected better customer service and a more reasonable resolution given that the motor failed so soon after the warranty expired. Unfortunately, it left me feeling that the focus was more on maximizing revenue than on building long-term customer relationships.
