We served family style peach salad, steak, chicken, roasted potatoes and veggies, and cauliflower steak for vegetarians. We also had 3 different late-night taco options with all the toppings, and late-night popsicles. Sergio's company also put together the most amazing grazing station for cocktail hour. We got so many compliments on all of the food, and there were very generous servings. The wait staff was amazing; we felt very taken care of. It was a little difficult to get in touch with them, and communication could be difficult. It was helpful to have a planner to keep in touch with them. I literally just had a big family cookout for my daughter's birthday this past Saturday and Coyote Sergio BBQ & Catering we excellent. From the planning phase, Sergio was very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to quantity and types of bbq food items to get. I was even worried that I wouldn't have enough and was pondering getting more food but even Sergio said it would be more than enough. They could have made more revenue by increasing the count but that just shows the honesty and good business practices they have. We used Sergio's Coyote BBQ for our Corporate Picnic to honor all of the employees and their families at our Construction Company, D-Line Constructors. It was about 150 people at Rowell Ranch in Castro Valley. They showed up early ready to cook and prep for catering service! They were all so kind, helpful and true pros. It was so perfect for our event because they cooked onsite with large grills that they provided. It truly was full service. We ordered the Grilled Chicken, Ribs and Tri-tip. Sides: Fruit, Salad, BBQ Beans, Garlic Bread and Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches (Fatboys). Everyone raved about the food! A little late in giving this review but wow can I just say the customer service is amazing. Sergio catered our wedding of about 200 guests. A year and a half later we are still getting compliments on how great the food was at our wedding. Sergio went above and beyond to make us feel secure in our decisions about what foods to select and because we have such a big family ensured us that there would be no shortages. I had a concrete pour at my house and had 12 guys that I knew were going to be hungry I wanted to make sure they got fed proper and knew if I messed this up, I might have a small mutiny on my hands. Not being sure of what to serve I figured,who hates BBQ?. In looking online I got the usual "Chain restaurants" that brag about their great fare and forget to mention the obscene costs, 3-4 ribs, a hotlink, a spoonful of beans and a day old piece of cornbread for $20-25 per man??, please your foods not that good and im not feeding children, these are grown men that might want to eat more than a sampler. So, I looked here and found Coyote Sergio, had great ratings and a completely positive set of reviews. I reached out and within about 1-2 hours, was called by them and told them what I was doing and what I needed and had a quote within about an hour or so. We set up a simple menu of ribs, chicken, beans, potato salad and Garlic Bread and had the delivery set for 11:30, they were there on time and brought everything we needed. The guys finished up with the pour and the stamping around 11:45 and it WAS ON!!!!, now I know hungry men will eat most anything in front of them but this meal was met with the best thing a cook can see, folks clamoring for seconds and the talk going from everything else to how good the food was. To sum this experience up, these folks were not only courteous, but their food was awesome, their prices were completely reasonable and they were truly a pleasure to work with, after the whole thing, they called back up to make sure everything was to satisfaction. Was looking for a place to cater our Summer BBQ and came across Coyote Sergio on Yelp. Called and talked to Sandy and she was very responsive. Called in the afternoon and got a quote by the end of the day. We opt for the 2 meat plate which comes with beans, pasta salad, and dinner rolls. Working with Sandy was awesome. She was very quick to respond to questions that I had and was very accommodating. After scheduling with them, I had to reschedule a week before and they were able to accommodate me with that. A couple of days before the BBQ, Sandy and Sergio came to our location to see which area will be good for the bbq. We had a nice chat about how we want things to be set up and just the small details to make sure our BBQ day goes smoothly. On the day of the bbq, they came early and set up. We had tri tip and boneless, skinless chicken thighs. They were able to cook everything on time for our 12:30pm lunch time. During the cooking process, I peep my head out there a few times and the smell of the BBQ was just so good that it got me hungry. The Tri tip was cooked to perfection. Juicy and tasty. The boneless skinless chicken thighs were a hit and it wasn't dry. Everyone at work loved the food and asked about the caterer. Overall, Sandy and her team was great. I put on a resident appreciation BBQ and chose coyote Sergio for the food. Everything was amazing! We went with the chicken and tri-tip combo and had green salad, baked beans(their special recipe, delish), potato salad, rolls with butter and "Anything Bundt Cakes" for dessert. I called around a few places and Sergio immediately got back to me with a phone call and email to let me know everything, so the fact that they were the first to respond earned them points. Originally when I placed the order I thought I would have a Max of 25 people, out of nowhere 60 people rsvp'd 2 days before, so I called Sergio and he was thankfully able to accommodate the change. Sergio and his son delivered exactly on time, and everything was so well presented. Each of the hot items were in the standard aluminum Packaging and covered, but they also had their own individual cardboard insulation boxes with a neat little design. Nothing crazy, but very nice looking, they presented well. They also brought the plastic utensils, plates, napkins and even to-go boxes upon request, it was so well put together and professional. Everything tasted great and they had awesome portions, there was more than enough. Everyone had seconds and most took some home. At my last company, Meraki, we had a huge company picnic at Crissy Field and went with Coyote Sergio BBQ based on their reputation, rates and their customer service! It was so easy to work with them, they took care of everything! Our company picnic was not a small one. There were hundreds of people, a DJ, games, huge picnic tables with umbrellas all over and lots of kegs and drinks everywhere; it was definitely one of the best company picnics I've ever been to. My mom's company used Coyote BBQ company therefore I decided to use them as well for my team BBQ for eBay. We had about 100 people attend our BBQ yesterday. I was worried we would run out of food, but we were not even close to running out! We had so much left over and people were able to take food with them. Coyote BBQ catering company arrived 4 hours before our BBQ even started (they arrive around 7:30am) and had everything set up when everyone arrived. The only downside - we ran out of water!
