We were looking extensively for different catering options throughout the Bay Area and outside of it. This is the most affordable one you can find. The prices are great, and especially I like that you can customize everything and create your own menu. Even though it's super affordable, all the dishes were amazing. To be honest, we were not expecting the food to be that good. All our guests at the wedding were happy. My department used Haute Cuisine Catering to cater our Holiday Party and we are so glad that we did! They were quick to respond and accommodate any changes. They were on time with delivery and came the next day to pick up the used dishes. As for the food - wow! I got compliments from nearly all 50 of our guests, though I would not have even needed that as they ate almost everything up! The Braised Tri-Tip and Chicken Piccata were a hit. We will definitely be using Haute Cuisine to cater any of our future parties. One note is that the under food burners got very hot & ended up burning the rice pan/rice, but that could have just been user (mine) error as I'm not used to the fire heater things, so I am not knocking a star off the review since that was on my end to just move the heat. Not only that the whole experience itself was absolutely amazing they have a top shelf staff and if anybody is looking to hire a wedding caterer I strongly recommend Paella Time! Wow! Lusine and the whole team at Haute are amazing. They helped us figure out the menu, came by the house to give us advice on re-arranging the furniture to fit the 50 plus people we had over for a memorial luncheon, and helped us rent some chairs for the set up. I submitted a request for a proposal for our Company's Christmas party. We traded a couple of emails which I found were very dry. The owner called me to discuss my options and I had questions, which is normal given the fact that I am trying to coordinate for our company. The owner seemed very annoyed by my questions and she was very pushy in trying to decide whether I wanted to book them or not. I told her I had to speak to my manager and would get back to her by the end of the day, to which she pushed me to give her an answer sooner rather than later. Like, I understand the need for booking and not wasting time slots, however, I did ask for a few hours to check and get the green light from my manager. We had Haute Cuisine cater an event for us this month. We had about 50 or so people and everyone was very pleased. The food was delicious and the service pleasant. We went with the mediterranean menu where the main course was Chicken with Pears. The chicken was juicy and the dish had an excellent flavor. Still, my favorite item from the menu was probably the Baba Ganoush appetizer. The Arugula salad was also very elegant. The servers who came were helpful and professional. They kept the food hot and presentable throughout the event and also helped set up the drinks and were overall incredibly resourceful and didn't require much management.
