I just ordered a burger for my 4 year old son from this place. The only options for cook temp were rare and medium rare. Anyone who has worked in the food industry knows ground beef must be served medium, medium well, or well done. I ordered his burger medium rare. His burger was RAW. Not rare, not medium rare but cold mushy and RAW. Very disappointing but even more so dangerous. This is how you kill people. read more

In town for work couple of the local said this was a nice spot to hang out. The spot was nice for a group of nine. I had a strawberry margarita it was good too much ice for my taste. Then I switched over to White Zinfandel. I had two glasses that was good. For an appetizer I had the mozzarella cheese sticks which was cold. For dinner I had a bacon cheeseburger basket all the way with waffle fries this is not the best hamburger that I've had in my life very plain very simple no taste at all. The waffle fries came out hard and cold, not Stonecold but room temperature cold. All in all the best thing about this place to me was the wine. For my visit here in Decatur I really want to give it a half a star. The food is not that great the service was actually slow for it to be empty. read more

We ordered for carry out using the slice app at 6:30 pm. Our order was "confirmed" to be ready between 6:55 and 7:05. We arrived at 7:05, called, and were told the order "should be ready in 10 minutes". We ran next door to pick up something quickly, came back, called and it still wasn't ready. At 7:30, I called again and was told the order was ready. My husband went inside to pick it up- and waited an additional TWENY MINUTES. it took over an hour and a half to pick up a take out order. One pizza, one salad, 2 orders of fries and 6 wings. And hour and a half. No apology, no explanation. They did offer a "voucher" for the next time we come in (written on a piece of paper, I'm SURE that will be tracked). Fat lot of good that will do, as we will NEVER be coming back. I am in town for business and this place was recommended by a local I'm working with... I ordered off the slice app but failed to read the reviews prior to ordering. As a previous customer indicated they got a notification that their order was received but when the app said the order was ready they had to wait for it. It hadn't even been started! I was told the computer had been restarted in the kitchen, so it was not received when the bartender put in the order from the computer. But it seems strange that it happened before... so I waited 15 minutes at the restaurant for my pizza to be made. Pizza was meh... not worth the wait. I've had better frozen pizza than this. The first time I came my chicken tenders were seriously over cooked and very tough but the waffle fries and fried green beans were good. Also the waitress was very nice. I went again for dinner tonight and got the Six Pack Salad and it was fantastic! I was worried it wouldn't fill me up but they put tons of grilled chicken on it and it was chopped up nicely-I hate when I have to keep cutting giant pieces of lettuce. Mt. Zion doesn't have a lot of restaurant choices, Coz's is a pretty decent spot if you're looking for a sports bar atmosphere that is also kid friendly. The menu is a fairly typical bar menu, lots of fried food, sandwiches, burgers, and pizza. I think they are supposed to be known for their pizza, it's not my favorite. I have really enjoyed their wings and sandwiches. They do seem to be understaffed the times we've gone, but the service has always been very friendly. read more

I used to like this place a lot. Wings and pizza were awesome. Not saying this is coincidental, but since the restaurant has changed owners, the wings are fatty & chewy and the pizza (which used to be cooked in a brick pizza oven) was barely cooked. This has happened a couple of times now, so we will probably not frequent here as often. Hopefully they'll fine tune things soon. read more

Went for lunch with my girlfriend. Started with an appetizer of Parmesan bites. They were small pillow-shaped pieces of dough, similar to a pizza roll, dusted with Parmesan and filled with...air, almost like they were going to put something inside and forgot. After our appetizer came, we waited nearly half an hour for the waitress to come back to take the rest of our order. I can understand that kind of service during rush hour, but we were one of maybe 3 tables in the restaurant. After a frustrating amount of time, our main courses arrived. My chicken tenders were dry and consisted of as much breading as they did meat. My side salad was wilted lettuce and rock hard croutons. Maybe this place is good for watching sports. I went here with a couple of friends for dinner. The menu was alright, it was pretty standard for a bar/grill place in a small town. I had a cheeseburger and was pleased, just not blown away. If pizza and wings is your thing, you're good. Otherwise, I would stray away. This place is on a downward spiral of quality and it shows. Appetizers are way overpriced; we paid almost a dollar a fry for 8 "Pub Fries". The grilled chicken sandwich tasted like leftover McChickens, glued together over a piece of pig lard and served on a three day old hoagie. Harley's in Dalton City is about the same distance for me so I will just go there when I want to eat on this end of town.
