Overall: The employees were super kind and welcoming, the ambiance had a lot of potential but was lacking in a lot of the basics, and the food was just okay. You walk in to a ton of baked goods, which look yummy. Everyone behind the counter was super kind and friendly. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. The seating area has cute farmhouse and instagramable decor. We were the only people there on a Saturday early in the evening, but the tables were mostly sticky, there were no napkins, and the bathroom was out of toilet paper and paper towels. The food was presented beautifully, but only tasted okay. I didn't get to choose the dressing on my salad. Everything felt heavy on the sauces in a way that didn't sit well with our stomachs.

It's literally a cozy cafe. We walked in and nobody was there to greet us so we waited about 5 minutes before someone actually came out. I ordered their toffee latte which is seasonal and hot chocolate for my daughter. My daughter loved the hot chocolate. However I didn't care for my latte. We also ordered their Cozy Chesapeake Bowl. Now the description and what was delivered was confusing a bit to me. Three Cheese Omelette, stuffed with Crabmeat and Cheddar Cheese. Served w/ Potatoes topped with Cozy sauce. It was more of a scramble the potatoes were French fries and there i don't recall there being any sauce. My daughter ordered chicken nuggets and fries and she loved them. Overall I would bring her back to do the hot chocolate flight with friends

Came here Saturday morning. It was pretty busy and had a nice ambiance. This place seemed like it was a family local owned restaurant and I would definitely come back to support them again. Service as good. Some of the other reviews say that the owner was rude. I didn't think so. He just seemed eager to meet new people and promote his business. Coffee flight: every single coffee was good! The lavender was my favorite. Be sure to mix this one before you drink it. It was more lavender-y towards the bottom. The caramel was sweet and the vanilla was perfect without too much sweetness. Crispy chicken picante: this sandwich was big! The chicken was flavorful, salty, and crispy. The fries were really good too and seasoned well. Be sure to try this place out! I'd definitely come back to try other menu items.

Wow! I really enjoyed this coffee shop and was very impressed with the selections here! We stopped by with my family for dessert and coffee on a Saturday afternoon. The vibes were very fall & homey which I loved. I ordered a coffee along with a slice of pumpkin pie which was very filling. I wish I read reviews beforehand, I would love to try the coffee flight next time! We saw a family that ordered delicious looking burgers! I was impressed with the menu selection! The staff were super friendly as well and we were able to chat with the baristas. There is also parking across the street and street parking available.

Great atmosphere. Wonderful friendly Staff. We had an excellent BLT Crab Cake Sandwich, Mozzarella Sticks and Peach Lemonade. Love how there is a Pay it Forward system in place for the community if you want to sponsor a cup of coffee or other item on the menu. Local artwork on display was available to be bought. We will be visiting again.

Stop for coffee across the street from the old railroad station by the river. The best coffee cake and carrot cake my wife and I have had in a long time. Very moist and delicious . Coffee is strong so it keeps you going for your shopping spree. Service is nice- order when you come in and they will deliver it to your table.

Cozy little place to go grab some coffee and a pastry. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and it's located in the beautiful historic Ellicott City. :)

Cozy Café and Bakery is OEC's locally owned and operated Halal Café and Bakery. It is a family-owned café that truly prides themselves on dishes that are both healthy and delicious, however, they know how to serve up a "cheat meal" or tasty special treat. You order at the front cash wrap which is what you'll see when you walk in. Bathrooms are between the cash wrap area and the dining area. The dining area is in the room to the right of the cash wrap. The dining room has a social media wall for selfies and/or food images. Inside the dining area, you will have room to either enjoy your freshly made breakfast, lunch or treat, or you can set up your computer to work--there are outlets up against the window side wall. Food here is quite amazing. At times, I find myself craving their breakfast croissant sandwich. Their tuna salad sandwich is also amazing and of course you cannot go wrong with any of their sweeter breakfast options.

I stop in for their lavender lemonade! Never too sweet and the bakery items are great. I'm not always in the mood for pastries but I won't pass up the lemonade. The shop is cozy but has places to sit inside and out. The menu is clear but always ask what flavors of lemonade are available. Service is usally prompt and friendly.

We came across this cute little cafe while roaming the historic streets of Ellicott City. Service with a smile and food was excellent! We had the Reuben sandwich with a side salad, kid's chicken and waffles, a dirty iced chai, a peach lemonade, and Cozy Double French Toast. We will definitely be returning!

I visited this bakery on a girls day with my mom. It's right on the corner of Main St next to free parking. They have cozy seating where you can enjoy your breakfast. I ordered a coffee flight and my mom ordered the hot chocolate flight. The bakery items were AMAZING and the service cannot be best. We spoke to one of the owners, Shiraz who was so kind. You could tell he truly loves his work and mentioned that this bakery was created to help support the community. My mom has seen them post on Facebook, helping to deliver bakery items last minute when other bakeries cancel. I 100% recommend stopping in for a sweet treat and hot beverage.

The Cozy Cafe certainly is cozy. And by cozy, I mean tight quartered. The dining room is tight. The area at the front counter is tight. Having said that, they have some amazing dessert & sweets. The food is reasonably large in portions size and very tasty. We tried the Cozy Burger. We enjoyed the burger. The fries were excellent, perfectly seasoned. I think we enjoyed the fries more than the burger. We were a little disappointed with the burger prep. At ordering, we were asked how we wanted it cooked, and it was overcooked. We enjoyed our visit and would return. Be prepared for partial table service. Order at the counter, seat yourself, and they bring you your order. That is the extent of table service.

This review is for their coffee only -- not their pastries / food. Their coffee is made of top notch coffee bean (Julius Meinl) and they brew it very well. Sold at a very reasonable price too. If you are ever in the Historic EC and craving coffee, I would recommend you stop by cozy cafe. The place is very nice, cute vibe with decent amount of chairs and tables. It was a pleasure meeting the owner as well - he introduced himself to us and it sounded like they host special events (Valentine's, St Patty's, etc.)

I asked the lady who answered the phone if the menu item "Chicken filet w/french fries" on the overstuffed sandwiches section of the menu was a fried filet or if it was a grilled filet. There is another chicken filet w/ pepper jack cheese listed below that menu item. I asked if I could get the chicken filet with french fries and I asked her to confirm that it comes with french fries. She said that it doesn't and began to lose patience. I explained to her that I see a menu item that says a "chicken filet with french fries" so I wanted to know what that was. She clarified again that the sandwich comes alone and you have to order the fry separate. I was okay with that, however, I was confused because it is listed as "Chicken filet w/ french fries" on the website. I could tell by this time she was annoyed by the tone and her voice and I was about to say okay just give me the french fries and the sandwich. I was working so I really just wanted to be able to pick up something really quick and come back and eat while I continue to work. However things changed when she said do you want it or not?. I was taking a back but I composed myself and I said Well ma'am I'm just trying to understand what the sandwich is on your menu that comes with fries. She said again that doesn't come with fries it's separate. I still wasn't understanding or accepting it because it says on the menu chicken fillet with french fries by this time she was really annoyed and she put the phone down but didn't tell me she was leaving the phone I could just hear her taking orders in the background I was so appalled, I just sat there and listened because I could not believe it. When she came back to the phone she asked me if I wanted to order or not. Overall this was a horrible interaction in this review is way too long so I'll try to sum it up. The woman was disrespectful. However, I went over to the restaurant anyway hoping that we can gain some understanding because perhaps there was a language barrier or something. Unfortunately, her disrespect of me escalated as she began yelling at me and I had to repeatedly tell her to lower her voice when she is speaking to me. While I was there she had the realization that she was wrong. She at first try to argue with me as she did on the phone but then she realized that I was referring to the menu that they have on their website which is incorrect. I explained to her that it is not my problem that HER website is wrong. She went on to say that I should have told her that I was looking at the menu online. If I am not in front of you, you should assume that I'm looking at your menu on your website. Especially, if I'm asking questions about your menu you should know that I'm not a regular and I do not know your menu that's why I'm asking you questions. Why is it on me to tell you that I'm looking at your menu online? You mean you shouldn't be wrong. I have never been treated that way at any restaurant ever in my 40 something years of living. She is rude and she will never get another penny from me. Take a look at the menu yourself. Two months later, it's still wrong. Listed as Chicken Filet and fries under overstuffed sandwiches. https://taneytowndelicatonsville.com/overstuffed-sandwiches/ Note: It is my picture featured at the top of this yelp profile. It's a sub i bought the first time I visited. I will contact Yelp to remove my photo or I will delete the photo from my profile all together so that it disappears. I will not have any part in promoting this restaurant. She doesn't deserve any business.

I was immediately impressed and overwhelmed with the shear amount of options in their establishment. They not only have bread and pastries, but they also have coffee, frozen pizzas, wine and spirits, local cheeses, and a large selection of olive oils, vinegars, and balsamics. I picked up a challah bread, baguette, lemon rosemary sourdough, pumpkin chocolate muffin, two mini blueberry scones, a 4 pack of a locally owned, women owned canned cocktail I like, and a cup of coffee all for about $30. Approximately halfway from either town is this delightful bakery that isn't just a bakery. As many have said, the aroma alone can make your mouth water - and we arrived midday, so I can only imagine what it's like early in the morning, when the baked goods are just coming out of the oven. They close at 2 on Saturdays, and we just made it by 1:30. Along with breads, rolls, and cookies, there are spreads both sweet and savory, dipping oils and vinegars, plus herb mixtures to sprinkle on them. I didn't investigate the wines but could easily see it's quite a collection. I missed the cheeses somehow, but DD the Cheese Queen said it was a nice assortment. There is also a cooler with soft drinks, so DGD got a berry lemonade & DD a kombucha. I bought a fresh loaf of garlic parmesan bread, and a loaf of cranberry orange pecan bread that was only $4! I see that another reviewer said the cheap loaves are due to the slicer mangling the loaf, but not the one I bought! It was perfect & just a couple of days old. Used to be you could go to most local bakeries & buy day old bread much cheaper. Anyway, even if it was "mangled" it still has amazing flavor and texture - worth every penny even at full price. DGD got a chocolate croissant and a banana muffin. She graciously let me have a taste and both were delicious. There is a free parking lot, which we didn't use of course, as we were walking. I wanted to write about the #9 Trolley Line but yelp doesn't have trail reviews (oversight!!) So I'm just going to add a little info here that does not pertain to The Breadery. Here are a couple of tips if you're doing the #9 Trolley Line walk: First and foremost, I highly recommend doing the uphill part first. In other words, start in Ellicott City. We walked as far as The Breadery and back, which was around 1.5 miles. We were all thankful to be going downhill once we were carrying our goodies! However, there is a farmer's market on Saturdays from May-October and it's a very small downtown so parking is tricky. The lot for the trailhead had people circling for spots. We're going to do the other side next weekend, but starting at The Breadery & returning there. And to be perfectly honest, even though it's a bit of a drive, I will be coming to get fresh loaves at The Breadery a couple of times a month.

This was a simple, but a tasty burger! Watching Ava recapture physically not just the performance in her retelling but the appreciation from both musicians and concert-goers alike, Frank starts to rediscover hope, even as he and Ava try to stay alive from the killers hunting them. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts from Eataliano Market & Deli, located at 5325 Phelps Luck Drive in Columbia, Maryland, prompt similarly unexpected overflows of culinary memories and joy. I had heard there could be a bit of a wait, which isn't surprising since this well-established market and deli draws not only local residents but also people from nearby businesses. I happened to be about 15 minutes away, so I placed my order through their website. By the time I arrived, I must have missed the lunch rush--there was no line, and it took just a couple more minutes for everything to be wrapped, packaged, and ready to go. The market itself is intriguing and packed with all sorts of house-made specialties and popular Italian brands. There were also plenty of brands I had never heard of, giving the place the feel of a little Italian countryside market. I can only dream of traveling to Italy someday, so for now, I'll happily get a little taste of Italy here! Parking: As mentioned, parking is very limited. The street alongside the shop was also undergoing some sort of construction during my visit, so be prepared for some roadside limitations. There is a small, intimate dining area with room for only about four tables, but I loved seeing the white-tablecloth treatment. It added such a warm and welcoming touch to what is otherwise a very busy little establishment. The staff were busy but friendly. With the back-of-house operation appearing to be quite busy and working within tight quarters, it was impressive to see how well everyone seemed to coordinate and make the most of the available space. What We Tried Eataliano Crab Roll -- A specialty my daughter had told me about after seeing it on TikTok, and now I understand why! Generously filled with a tender, tasty blend of lump crab meat and fillers. Definitely shareable--but only with your favorite people! 10" Margherita Pie -- A NY-style thin crust topped with fresh ingredients, including tomato sauce, house-made mozzarella, and whole basil leaves. Simple, fresh, and delicious. French Fries -- Crispy and crunchy, just as ordered. Sometimes you just need a good order of fries! Greek Salad -- A generous portion loaded with fresh ingredients: feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, Kalamata olives, carrots, green peppers, and pepperoncini. Fresh, colorful, and plenty to share. Overall, Eataliano is exactly the kind of neighborhood gem I love discovering. Between the market, deli, prepared foods, and cozy little dining area, there's plenty to come back and explore. Definitely worth a visit--and I'm already wondering what I should try next!
