Nice spot in Common Kitchen ~ Trifecto Bar! They are located in the common kitchen area in the back against the wall you'll see a full bar. With a variety of drinks from hot to cold; to food options. I couldn't decide what to get because a lot sounded enticing. I ended up getting a cappuccino so I can get some latte art and a grilled cheese. I got toasted marshmallow flavor for my cappuccino. It had a dainty heart and nicely made flavor wise. It came in a real mug since it was a cappuccino. If you get a cold drink, it comes in a disposable cup. For food I decided to try the jalapeño bacon grilled cheese. It was tasty. The jalapeños were not spicy at all which was what I was looking for. It had the right amount for flavor added to the melted cheese and bacon. Toasted at a level you get a crunch in every bite. I was asked if I'd like a pickle on the side; yes please. That was a nice little ask that I wasn't expecting. Overall, service, food and drink were good. There is free parking in the parking lot. I'll be back to try more specialty drinks. read more

I stopped by Clarksville Commons to work and decided to see what breakfast options they had. The Trifecto bar was in the back and had breakfast items on its menu. I ordered the sausage, egg & cheese on a croissant. They may not have a full kitchen in the back, so everything was premade and heated up. For this visit, that was fine with me. My only issue with the sandwich was that there was sooooo much cheese. The cheese was layered on in globs, and I could scoop it off because it was so thick. The iced coffee was just ok. I will most likely return to the Common Kitchen because it is so close, but I can't see myself ordering breakfast again from the Trifecto Bar. read more

Coffee, how long should one wait for a cup of drip brewed coffee?? I ordered a cup while waiting for a food order at Common Kitchen in Clarksville MD. It took about 15 minutes! The server was not the same person who took my order. She came in and chatted with co-workers and played with her hair behind the counter (um, ew, to start with) and I had to finally ask the other co-worker where my coffee was. It was not like it was a busy Starbucks at 8:30 am. There were only 2 patrons seated at the bar. And they already had their order. 1 star for service and 1 star for the coffee. It sucks because I always tip my servers, and already had but the service was so poor I'll wait to tip there from now on. The 20% I usually leave was undeserved. read more

On a recent trip to Clark's Elioak Farm with my four-year-old daughter, we stopped by The Common Kitchen, an international food hall. After exploring the vendors, I was leaning toward ramen or Egyptian street food. However, my daughter saw the grilled cheese picture menu at Trifecto Bar in the back. Considering it was the only stand with a line during lunch, we ordered. My daughter ordered the straight up grilled cheese and I the apple gouda grilled cheese. Been curious about The Common Kitchen for years, and finally got around to trying some of it's offerings starting with Trifecto Bar. My sister is a big coffee drinker in all it's forms, and I am less so haha That being said I ordered an iced latte, added caramel and it was just right for my not-quite-able-to-handle-coffee sensibilities! It is a simple menu with coffees, smoothies and smoothie bowls, a couple salads, breakfasty items, and grilled cheeses and toasts. We got a 3 cheese trifecto grilled cheese, and a bacon, egg, and cheese grilled cheese. They come with a pickle spear each. The grilled cheese and iced lattes were the perfect lunch treat! This place was the only one that makes coffee the way they like in Seattle, so I decided to try it out today! Coffee was a ok. I usually get Oat milk plain latte first and their latte are not as flavorful in notes but it's still decent. It's my personal preference not that they didn't do a good job. They use Oatly and they have almond milk as alternative milk option as well. We got a scramble egg sandwich and a avocado toast. Both are amazing! They are both well fresh made at the bar once ordered. Scramble eggs was seasoned but not too much, the muffin was well toasted and not airy, an actual filling little breakfast! The avocado toast was a big toast. Thick sliced avocado with tomato and fresh microgreens! So fresh and well packed. Another filling breakfast. We loved it and definitely will come back for their bowls! I understand the price might be a little high for the area, but for the quality and heart they out into it, it's worth it! Bonus on being small business AND black/women owned, their food are very worthy for it's price. They are VERY COVID19 safe. Barriers all the way with sanitizer provided right at the front entrance. So so excited to see they had grilled cheese especially on a cold windy day like to day, not only grilled cheese but they have about 6 different gourmet types. We choose the 3 cheese and the apple/Gouda. The side of pickles was a nice touch and they were willing to exchange the cheeses for other cheeses. And yes there was plenty of cheese, very hearty and full. There coffee and latte were good and loved the little touches of having blue agave to put into drinks. I tried the Trifecto one before and it was super good, but it eventually got a little too nutty for me. I think if they had a smaller size of that, it would've been perfect. Stopped by in the morning to check out the new center. Trifecto itself is inside a commonplace building with other stalls open for other businesses. It's still so new that only two other stalls were open! *SERVICE* When we got there, one of the baristas told us we can just take a seat at the bar and he'll take our orders. Everyone there is incredibly nice! He even gave us glasses of water even though we were just getting smoothie bowls. They also have a clover machine so you can pay at your seat. *FOOD* I ordered the açaí bowl (+$1 upcharge) and my friend ordered the tropical bowl. The smoothie base itself was a bit too liquidy for my liking, but at least it tasted great! Wish it came with more than just blueberries as the fruit (strawberries, bananas?) but the granola was really good! They sell the granola in bags as well. The tropical bowl had a very heavy OJ taste- it overpowered the fruit. I would probably come back for the bowls solely because it is the closest place that I can get an açaí bowl around me without having to drive into the city- other than Costco which is a hard pass. Trifecto Bar is in a very nice location and contains other local food and beverage options. The menu is very diverse containing smoothies, sandwiches, coffee, and a selection of bowls (Açaí). I had the green lady smoothie to hold me over until brunch. It contained kale, OJ, and, bananas. Not a bad spot and I will probably visit again for a sandwich and coffee. As a recommendation, I would add a bit more fruit into the bowls and smoothies because you can barely taste it in the smoothies. They are not sweet at all and recommend adding dates to the smoothies to give them a natural sweetened taste. The Açaí bowl contained an uneven 3:1 ratio of Açaí and Fruit. The Açaí was smoothie texture instead of slightly frozen and would recommend pre making it the night before and freezing it a bit so the bowls aren't soupy. read more

The coffee was delicious and beautifully made, my husband and I got 2 oat milk lattes. I always drink soy milk lattes but the oat milk is my new favorite. My husband had the 3 cheese trifecto grilled cheese, he loved it. I had the trifecto smoothie bowl, it was so creamy and filling I enjoyed it and would definitely get again.
