This may be my favorite coffee shop in OEC. It's got delicious lattes and even more amazing food options. The Dino sandwich is my favorite and the display case of goodies when you order is too hard to resist. The cheesecake was heavenly. Cute little coffee shop in Old Ellicott City. I love how casual this place is. I got a Cineyhone and a butter croissant. Everything feels cute, but it's slightly unclean. Why am I seeing an open trash can while I'm ordering? They could have hidden it a little better so customers don't have to see it. Plus, the restrooms could be cleaned more thoroughly. The workers were friendly, and I love that they offer the option to have less sugar in your coffee. The food was good, but the service ruined the experience. I understand the restaurant closes at 3:00 PM, but around 2:20PM, while half of our table was still eating, a staff member came over asking if we needed boxes to go and stood there looking at his watch. It definitely felt like we were being rushed out well before closing. The café was still about half full, so it's not like we were the only table there. We also weren't talking for a long time after finishing our meal or anywhere close to a 90-minute table limit. We were the only customers of a different race in the restaurant, so it made us wonder if we were being treated differently. The whole interaction felt disrespectful and left us feeling offended. After recently moving to Ellicott City, Georgia Grace Cafe has become my weekly go to for my academic day away from the hospital. With a cozy, intimate interior and staff that defines what it means to be welcoming, attentive and hospitable, GGC is a true neighborhood gem. Every time I'm there, the staff goes out of their way to make sure I have everything I need while also making an effort to get to know me as a now more familiar face. My staple morning order is the Acai bowl with an oat milk latte. Piled high with homemade granola, large scoop of Acai and an almond butter drizzle with Greek yogurt buried at the center, the bowl is breakfast heaven. The latte never disappoints and coffee lovers will rejoice at the fun, seasonal specials. The bakery case always has something new, offering fresh, flavorful treats that you'll want to takeaway if you don't eat in house. Stopped here to do some work before a site visit to a local wedding venue. I was able to snag a little corner to work from. I ordered a seasonal latte and a crepe, the coffee came out and then I sat to wait for my crepe. The food came out lightning quick and was incredible. I really enjoyed my morning there. I have been here a few times now and have had a good experience each visit. It can get crowded on weekends, so it's best to come early. The first couple of times I came I was too hungry to even get photos of my food, but I did try the farmhouse omelette and it was very filling. There was a line to put in an order, but it was nice to get out of the cold once we out the order in, we immediately got our coffees and our food came out about 10 or so minutes later. Pretty quick despite the line! The Sweetness crepe was exactly what I was hoping for: ripe strawberries and just the right amount of Nutella, not too sweet or overpowering. The cowboy scramble was another standout. The generous portion of short rib added a rich, savory depth without making the dish feel too heavy, making it a hearty breakfast bowl that still felt balanced. Coffee came out quick and hot. I sat on the covered porch out front and stayed perfectly dry during a light drizzle -- such a relaxing setting to sip and enjoy some people watching. This is the kind of local café that makes you want to become a regular! Like the person in front of me, who clearly was a return customer as the staff at the counter knew his exact order!! I stopped in for brunch on a Saturday while doing some estate sale shopping out in Maryland, and I was so impressed by everything Georgia Grace Cafe had to offer. The cafe is situated on the main street of the shopping center in Ellicott City in an old home. The front porch was the perfect place to sit and people watch on a nice fall day. You order at the front counter, and then they bring out your food. The woman working at the register was so friendly and kind, despite how busy the place was. I was blown away by the breadth of gluten-free options and cannot thank the owners enough for giving me options! I split 'The Sweetness' crepe (strawberries and banana with nutella) with my friend and then had the breakfast sandwich. I also had a dirty chai latte which was excellent. I preferred the pastries over the main dishes. Orders are placed at the front counter and brought to the table. The staff is friendly and the menu is extensive. Georgia Grace is a cute cafe on Ellicott City's main street. It looks like a home that was transformed into a cafe, and you will experience that warm home feel when you enter. They have food, baked goods, and a decent selection of drinks. I went with a friend and ordered a red eye with oatmilk and created my own omelet with spinach and bacon. I also had a sausage patty on the side. My friend had their salmon sandwich and a frozen lemonade. She did not enjoy her email and ultimately did not finish. She noted that the bread underneath was too thick, and the sauce drizzled on top was not flavorful. My omelet was good; they don't add any salt or pepper, so you will have to adjust to your taste. I also asked for hot peppers, and they didn't have any as an option. Overall, it is a cute location, and they have a decent menu to explore. They have ample seating, upstairs and downstairs, so even though there were a lot of people there, we found seating pretty easily. They do close early, so if you know you want to spend some time there to work or chat, I recommend coming earlier. read more

First thing that greets you is their front desk/order bar with a bunch of their fresh pastries. I opted for the chocolate chip cookie and not any of the pastries. They do warm it up for you if you ask. I was excited for the cookie, but was left a bit disappointed. It was a $5 cookie and relatively on the large side. The inside felt pretty underdone and was very chocolate chip heavy, so I just felt like chocolate was closing my mouth shut from the gooeyness. Before the cookie, I had the Gracie as my main entree. It was good. Good flavors and depth. They served my protein on top of a bed of fries, which I personally don't like because it gets the fries all soggy. The meat was good, but was just the slightest bit dry. Overall, an enjoyable dish. They have a nice venue with a downstairs that feels more like a traditional cafe, an upstairs with seating for larger parties, and an outside dining patio. They bring the food to you after ordering and bus the tables afterwards, but overall you don't have too much interaction with staff after you order. I usually have a wonderful experience at Georgia Grace. I love the food, I love the coffee, and I love the usual vibe/staff. However, today (5/2/26) at around noon, the cashier was very rude to me and my friend. Now, I work in the service industry, and I know it's hard to maintain a smile all day every day. But he was snippy, rude, and overall very unpleasant. I honestly hope he was just having a bad day, and doesn't treat every customer like this. I live nearby and walk here frequently for breakfast or brunch. This place is amazing! First of all- the food- always excellent, fresh and beautifully prepared! Second of all- the staff- always willing to substitute for a custom order, friendly, courteous, coming around to each table to ask how everyhting is-and if you need something, they bring it right to you. Third of all-the owner, Paula is there all the time-overseeing everything-cooking, cleaning, walking around, greeting customers- This is why GG is a five-star-she is onsite and hands-on! I just took a friend there (this was her first time) and she couldn't stop raving about her breakfast bowl! I got the "new" avacado toast and now that will be my new favorite. Such a cute place! It was the perfect fall morning and we decided to have a late breakfast in Old Ellicott City. We stopped by here 10am on a Sunday morning. Plenty of parking in the lot right across from the entrance. You walk in and order at the counter. They had all types of options for breakfast, lunch and plenty of drink options. Plus a counter of fresh desserts! We decided on the Bay Bowl and a build your own omelette. After ordering, you go and find your seat. We luckily found seats on the front porch. (Again, the perfect morning!) A server then comes out with your food. The food was delicious and proportioned just right. Not too much and not too little. Nice little cafe in old Ellicott City with indoor and outdoor seating. This cafe gets busy, however the food comes out quick which seems to get folks in and out with ease. You grab a menu, get in line and order at the counter. You proceed to pick a table and the staff will find you. It's pretty efficient. The food is amazing and the service is good. It came with spinach, goat and feta cheeses, roasted tomato which was yummy, over easy fried eggs (my favorite) and angus beef pieces, cooked your way (medium rare baby). It has a delicious chipotle cream drizzle and was accompanied by a side of breakfast potatoes. * Pig Pen Scrambled * This sounded better than how it tasted however it fit the bill. It's a breakfast bowl with slow roasted pork added to the signature Gg's breakfast. It seems pretty plain yet it wasn't terrible. It's a good lite meal that won't leave you bloated. If you're hungry, I suggest you pass on this. The mocha and latte was tasty. There is a nice patio in the back to enjoy your meal when the weather is nice. There are tables available upstairs and downstairs. The menu is located right when you walk in along with some utensils. Note: There are two different menus. A food menu (on the right side, stacked) and a drink menu (on the left side, stacked). Be sure to look grab one of each. I made a mistake and grabbed one menu which was the drink menu. I had to go back and grab a food menu. I saw someone else make the same mistake (confused looking for the food on the menu) and handed them a food menu to be helpful. Parking is ample in the back lot and an easy walk up the sidewalks. They were busy around 1030a on a Saturday, but display showed enticing desserts and decor. We got our souvlaki dishes shortly after we grabbed a patio table in the back. It was comfortable with umbrellas to shield from the sun. The staff was friendly and attentive upon delivery of food and walking by. Food was delicious, although the naan was a little soggy by the time we started to eat it. Overall- cute cafe on Main Street in Old Ellicott City, diverse menu and bakery options, single stall inclusive restrooms, with indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. You order at the front, seat yourself, and the food is brought to you. We were confused about if we get our own waters or if someone brings them to us. We ended up self serving waters, but the tables were bussed for us. We were a little confused about the processes but overall it was a cute place with character. I saw people with giant mugs of coffee that looked cozy. We got a Cowboy Bowl, the Gracie, and a chocolate chip cookie. The food came out so quickly. I was stoked about a lot of items on the menu but the food we decided on was only okay. The braised beef in my meal had a harsh smell and the sweet potato's were underdone. In the Gracie, the fries are on the bottom which makes them soggy, not my favorite way to get fries. The cookie was so undercooked it was hard to enjoy, but we loved that they offered to warm it up for us. I think I might go back and try again but with different menu items. read more

This is a cozy little cafe in the middle of ellicott City on the main street. It's a weird service setup. You basically grab your own silverware, menu, and napkins. Find your own place to sit. Then, order at the counter. You'd think they'd bring everything to your table, but you have to grab your drinks at the counter. At least the waitresses were all really nice. We were checked on three times by three different waitresses, which was a nice surprise. The food itself was just ok, nothing great. Just wish it was more of a full breakfast. Maybe a sandwich with some fruit or potatoes and not just a sandwich thrown onto a plate. read more

This is a cute place that just re-opened in Old Elicott City that re-opened in a new location. It's a cute house where you can get brunch. We met up with friends from Annapolis and found a table with six seats. It was pretty packed when we arrived. I did notice that you have to go downstairs to order and they will bring your order to you. I like the selection of food. I ordered the breakfast bowl with crabmeat. I probably should have skipped the crabmeat since it was salty. The menu was written in a way that everything sounded good. Unfortunately, the eggs in my breakfast bowl was over cooked and the crabmeat was salty. I did enjoy the London Fog and coffee. If I ever go back here, I would try the crepe. My friend enjoyed hers. My significant other has an egg allergy so all he could eat was the açaí bowl which he enjoyed. I think they would need to add more items with people who have egg allergies. read more

The place is much bigger than it looks. The food is solid here. I ordered the cure sandwich for breakfast. The bread (I believe ciabatta) was lightly toasted and the eggs and bacon warm and fresh. It was a simple sandwich, but constructed very well. I also ordered some of the bakery/dessert items to go. These weren't cheap, but they are also pretty large. I ordered a gluten free brownie (I did not realize it was gluten free, but figured I'd try it), a chocolate chunk cookie, lemon yogurt pound cake, and a finikia (i think a walnut cookie in syrup?). I thought the brownie was pretty good ... a lot of chocolate flavor in there. The chocolate chunk cookie was more like a chocolate bar with a side of cookie dough ... the ratio of chocolate was a little too high for my liking, but it was still good. Very rich. I really enjoyed the lemon yogurt pound cake .... very sweet, but delicious. The Finikia was good too. It has a nice fragrance to it. Overall, i enjoyed eating here and would recommend it. Very pleasant cafe in Old Ellicott City. One of the first places to reopen after the tragic dual floods. Proprietors and chef are very nice. Willing to chat about what they are making and accommodating to various tastes. Four of us visited including someone who grew up in Athens. Although she was disappointed that there was no Greek coffee, she was very pleased with the various pastries they did have, including loukoumades and galaktoboureko.
