Phil's styling and scissoring is second to none. Dogs by Design Pet Salon is immaculate. I highly recommend Phil, and Dogs by Design Pet Salon, so much so that I probably pass by 50 or more pet salons, on my two hour drive to have our dog groomed by Phil, at Dogs by Design Pet Salon.

Her assistants have always been cordial with me. There was a misunderstanding of what number to text or how to book appointments, and we sorted it out. I did have a morning situation that brought me to miss an appointment, i apologized and we sorted it out. Long story short, owning a business is tough, she is doing her best like the rest of us, and we all have our days juggling things. My dog is a handful just to brush his hair, i am grateful to have a place within an hour like this to bring him to.

Maybe the problem lies in their definition of a "walk" and mine. I asked that the daily 30 minute activity be a walk, which they charge $25.00 for. If my dog doesn't have at least one "walk" per day, his digestive system shuts down. I walk him 3 miles per day to keep him regular, but expected at least one walk, on leash, to minimize the affects on him. I also expected a stress response but when they sent me a picture of him on day 2, I knew he was in trouble. Joe, the GM, called me after I sent an email discussing my disappointment and we had a productive conversation, and I had decided not to do this review. But then Robin, the owner called, to justify that they did nothing wrong and actually tried to blame it on my dog. That changed it for me. I'm sure if you have a dog with no special needs that they are fine, but beware if you have a dog that isn't normal. Make sure you talk to Joe so he understands what you expect from the visit and you may have a better outcome than mine.

Coco is supposed to have lunch have breakfast so after I get in my car and look at the lunchbox, her food is still in the lunchbox, my dog, my baby girl did not eat all day long. The last time she ate was the night before all day no food she's like my child. How does that happen? That's why you dropping your child off at daycare and your child doesn't eat because she is my child. She's my little girl. My heart was broken. I was so sad when I learned that Coco did not eat. I called the facility. The only thing the lady did was just apologize. Apologize, apologize I don't care about an apology I think that I should've got my money back because it did not properly take care of my dog. There's absolutely no type of schedule. How do you know what dog to feed when to feed the dog? How do you know when you get the dog the medicine there's no Board that you guys are writing down on. It's an absolute disaster. They just take dogs take dogs take dogs and don't take care of them. How did you not know that Coco did not eat that is such so irresponsible I will never ever bring my Coco back there again I wouldn't even bring a gerbil there. I should've listened to all the other reviews, but I am a travel nurse so I needed the Daycare for Coco and I trusted these people with my Coco. I don't know it's because I'm black. They treated Cocoa different way because everybody else's dogs eat all the white peoples dogs eat. Only person dog didn't eat with the black girls dog. Shame on you this is how you run your business. I want no parts in it, but if you can't feed dogs then obviously you have too many dogs at one time.

He will warn people that his communication is "direct," but that is inaccurate. His responses are dramatic cut-and-paste messages that often have nothing to do with your own request. My dog got what it needed from training, but lost a good amount of weight. When this was pointed out to the assistant, they reviewed their instructions- sure enough, the wrong amount of food was listed. It should have been obvious for a dog that size.
