The owner is very nice and so accommodating. Gave us information on what to go see and do around the area. Even let us pick where we wanted to pitch our tent (even though we already booked a site) since there were no other tent campers at the time. They are expanding into the woods, which is where we stayed. Be aware that the ground in the woods is not very flat though. So bring cushion for your sleeping bag, or wake up sore. Fire pit is a little small, but you can manage. If you purchase firewood from them, they will drive it out and deliver it right to your tent. There is a nice creek that surrounds the tent sites, which drowns out the voices from the hookup sites. Wildlife is pretty active. Our first night, there was a den of coyotes that were very vocal all night. But, you don't go camping if you hate that kind of stuff.

Pete leveled the roads and got rid of the mud spots! The campground was pretty full and the number of bags going in, matches the volume of people there. I contacted the owner and he blamed it on someone in the apt there. The recycling was never picked up or dropped off for the entire month. Fast forward to last week. Police came in several times when the owner returned. It was apparent after seeing him with Mike's hard drink in hand in the morning, that's the problem. This guy drives the tractor then and smashes a bunch of things including a picnic bench. I was scared he was going to hit my RV when he drove it. Then he starts trying to fix the road himself (it was fine when he came back). He starts dumping dirt all over it. Pete fixes it again after that. Oh yeah the dog park, they didn't put in a swing gate so the dog park is way overgrown and they can't get a mower in. Who wants to take their dog into a tick park? Then comes Friday and we see him go outside in the morning during the daylight and take a poop outside in public (bathrooms are across the street from him). Fast forward to when we are trying to leave and he's pouring mud all over the roads. Thankfully he didn't cover the one side and we were able to get out. The campground owner needs rehab, 100%. I don't feel he's a bad guy, just stuck in a drunken stupor. This is a quiet, no-frills campground. We never had any issues with the water electric or any hook ups. We definitely did not drink the water there as we never drink campground water anyway. Sites are pretty level. It rained heavy a few times and our site stayed pretty dry. As long as the owner is not present, things are ran and look great.

Under new ownership and management Misty Mountains Park is a gem in the rough. Located approx 70…read moremiles from Buffalo, the manager is congenial, helpful and open to ideas. Rates are competitive. The grounds and facilities are meticulously maintained. Shower rooms are very clean. We leave our travel trailer here and come several times a month for a few days. That is one way to cope with the fuel crunch and not have your RV/TT sit in your driveway unused. I would recommend Misty Mountains without reservation.

My wife & I had tent camped here a few times & stayed in a cabin once well over a decade ago, and it lived up to and surpassed the fond memories! Everyone we encountered form the owners/staff to the other campers was really friendly. The cabin was spacious, clean, And incredibly cozy. We had a really nice warm welcoming basket with some treats & a note. I absolutely loved the view out of this cabin. All the amenities! The dog park was fantastic to let our girl run around. We all had fun in the game room, especially with the air hockey table and the ring game on the wall. The kids loved the pool, the Gaga Ball pit, & the hot tub. My son & I played the giant chess game. It was great to buy firewood right on site, the store is stocked up on everything you might forget, and the ice cream hit the spot! We did a lot of cooking over the campfire, but breakfast was great with the oven/stovetop and provided pots/pans/etc. We hope to be back soon & often! We've been to this campground a few times for tent camping over the summer, and we just stayed in a cabin for the first time this past weekend. We stayed in the Allegheny cabin, and it was awesome. Gambling that the first weekend in Spring would be good weather, we lost. The ground was snow-covered, but it certainly didn't put a damper on the weekend. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, warm, and incredibly clean. The kitchen area was well stocked with an assortment of cookware and utensils, and there was a great grill & fire ring outside. We made great use of the fire ring to make s'mores even though it was quite cold! The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly, and be on the lookout for one of the camp cats, Oliver, if you'd like to make a new furry friend!

Small oven, stove, fridge. Heater, gas fireplace, air conditioner and fire pit. We cooked at home and hiked or biked during the day. Jon the manager was super nice and replaced a chair we broke same day. He also apologized for not returning my call for 15 minutes and gave us some free firewood to make up for the minor inconvenience. I liked having a shower and bathroom in our cabin, but we did use the key to get into the shower house, which was clean and stocked. Nice place!

Having once lived in the area, I knew that this campground was relatively new. One never knows what…read moreto expect at a new campground, new store, new restaurant, etc. I was extremely, and pleasantly, surprised at what I found. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful in all aspects of my stay. I was personally directed to my campsite, which was perfectly level, no shims, no boards, no jacks were needed. The only leveling required was front to rear and that was easily accomplished with the hitch jack. The grounds were clean and well manicured, and quiet hours were enforced. There are a number of pleasant walking paths, and if you fish, be sure to bring your equipment. There were multiple ponds containing all matter of species. Bass, trout, sunfish, perch, and catfish just to name a few. I will definitely be returning to this campground on my next visit to the Olean area.

i would recommend it was my first time trail riding but i went up the black diamond trail hill…read moreclimb and i got up it it was tricky but i pushed through and got it done but my buddy wasn't fast enough but my dad was @thetruckguyllc and i lost him but then got reunited and the staff are so nice very nice staff and light blue trails are the easiest! i love this place and hoping to go next time possible and the best part it was my b day trip and thank you to the staff they showed the trails and they made it better!
