This was my very first time doing any sort of dog care so I was really worried about leaving them. They did really well and my other dog had so much fun (he's a social butterfly). The main reason I chose this place vs all the other dog boarding is because they offer a "home" living experience rather than a facility/warehouse. My dogs always freely roams the house and lays on our bed, couch, wherever they please so I wanted something similar and Wendy's house provided that. This rating is based off of our most recent visit. Making an appointment was easy. However, when we…read morearrived, we were "checked in" and waited for almost an hour before we were seen. One of the reception team members had to ask me of we had been helped yet. When I said that our appointment was an hour earlier, he asked for my dog's name. My dog's file wasn't even pulled for the appointment. The reception team really needs to be more organized for their day. There were multiple team members just walking around whereas a couple others were busy. A full examination was not done on my dog. The vet didnt check her eyes or feel her entire body. (Her eyes are bit on the gray side) He listened to her heart and lungs. He did say she needs a dental and shared the monthly special. He told me my girl is on the chunkier side; which we're working on. He didn't recommend anything else though. I had to ask him if doing a full blood panel would be beneficial. I received 2 quotes; 1 for the visit with the 2 vaccines and bloodwork and another for the dental. A tech took mt dog back for said vaccines and the bloodwork. Checking out was the easiest part of this whole visit. I was told I'd be called once the bloodwork came in on Monday. I had to call on Tuesday to ask about it. I understand it is busy and sometimes it can be chaotic at a veterinary office; however, there needs to be some reorganization and further training. The reception team needs to find a better method for checking in patients.

When we got to the place, there was dog hair all over the floor, I chatted with the manager there and they mentioned they wipe the floor 2-3x a day so I must've come during the tail ned. The appointment which typically takes 2-3 hours ended up taking 1.5 hours. They request payment and tip before they bring you your pet. I had some feedback that I shared with the manager and they reassured me that they care deeply about the salon and grooming service so I know they're working on improvements. They were happy to take my dog back to another cleaning, but I didn't have the time. I appreciate the time and effort the manager took to call and chat about my feedback.
