I did not like how she was shaping my nails, and when I asked her to cut the other nails shorter after make one of my nails too short, she said she did not understand and just moved onto the other hand. I had the worst manicure today. I've visited here before and had no issues with my pedicure service but I can't believe I paid for this manicure when I could've done a way better job at home. Not only is the color lumpy but I told my lady to cut my nails to match my one short nail that had a greeny. But she didn't even shape my greeny nail at all or make my other nails match. It looks terrible. The pedicure was fine but I just think this business has misleading prices with a lot of surcharges added. The starting price was $98 on the pedicure price list for gel mani and some special pedicure and with the ladies calculation she goes $140 ish with gel pedicure & French. I think the price list on their wall makes absolutely no sense bc they don't list add on prices for French or gel. And under where it says hands and feet services it says for gel color extra $13 but under that stuff there is a gel pedi and gel French already listed. It just gives them the ability to charge you whatever.bc the math doesn't make sense. Then when I was being ringed up she goes $7 tax then she said $17. I was sooo over this place that I just wanted to get out. If you are charging accurate prices you will itemize the receipt she only writes the total. I ended up paying $220 and tipping $44 when the manicure is trash and now I need to remove it. And it's already smudged. read more

The nails came out great in my opinion, great color and shape, although two days later the nail polish (which was dip) came off of my thumb which I thought was just a coincidence. Over the next few days all my nails started to crumble and break off. I have never had dip nail polish break like that, it usually lasts me a month but in just 5 days my nails had zero polish on them. Very unfortunate. read more

I hate giving small businesses less than good reviews but I feel like I got kinda scammed tonight :( I made an appointment for a hard gel fill which they say would be 45. Then at the end of the appointment they say 70 bucks. Why? For "cutting my nails, changing the shape (which I didn't ask for, they actually didn't even ask me what shape I wanted just did it and I said it looked ok), and for the gel nail polish". Those are all things a hard gel fill is supposed to include?? I told them at the end to please be more upfront about the things they are charging because I was seriously not prepared...they do a nice job but it depends who you get, but I won't go back just because of the upselling and dishonest tactics. I've been here 5 times in the last month and a half, and that alone should say enough. I've gotten powder nails each time, and they've chipped on multiple nails anywhere between 4 to 9 days in. They have offered to repair the nail for free each time, but who has time to get a touch up every 5 days??? Powder/dip nails are supposed to last longer than gel. Honestly that would all be excusable, except the last time I went, my manicurist started giving me a 10 minute massage while soaking my manicure (without my asking!), then I was charged for it! And then she did gel on one nail that didn't dry correctly! I specifically avoid gel due to the UV, but she - again - didn't even ask me! What in the world???? I live down the street, so I was going to make this my go-to spot, but after 5 disappointing visits, I'll have to just walk the extra few minutes to other spots in the area. Super bummed. read more

The team is incredibly kind and it's easy to walk in but after less than a week my UV Gel are lifting - consistently. I've had this happen with three fills now (after getting a the original set here), they are usually able to quickly fix the one or two nails for free that have lifted but then the next day another one starts to lift. I wish the quality was better because the prices are great and it's close by but after this many chances I won't be returning! read more

The place is clean and the girls are nice, but they unfortunately do NOT know how to do nails. I've been here three times because it's close by, and the outcome is always ridiculously disappointing. They are terrible at shaping nails, polish chips quickly, they will mess up your cuticles, and if you get acrylics, they will be a thick, gloppy mess. Nothing happened to it, the nail just literally... fell off. I went back to get it fixed and the technician made it so so much worse. Extremely rude, drilled my nails down SO THIN, after I asked them to please soak my UV Gel off, but they insisted it was Hard Gel, not UV Gel when I told them countless times it was!! They just didn't believe me and drilled it off, now my nails are so thin and PAINFUL!!! She also nicked my cuticles TWICE with the drill causing me to bleed and didn't say sorry or out anything on it to stop the bleeding, but acetone on after which burned like a bitch.. and I STILL tipped 20% like an asshole. Biggest regret going here, just needed something quick and figured I'd try a place closer than my usual amazing place and that was a HUGE mistake, never going here again, never recommending. Let's start with the walk in , I was greeted and thought it was cute that the two nail tech battled out who was going to take me by playing rock paper scissors. I'm like this is a good wholesome place .... WRONG. as soon as I sit the "winner" explains her spa pedicures which I asked for and tries to push the most expensive one. This is is my first time here and although I don't mind spending when it comes to my toes I need to check out the work before spending so much. I nicely declined , she tried to convince me but I again said no. I chose the one I wanted and right before she started she tried to up sell the one I had by trying add a different product that was "better" I respectfully declined. she was moving super quickly, rushing alittle which confused me because the salon was almost empty. Fast forward it was time to pay and she basically tells me to use cash , alittle confused I told her no I'm going to use my card. She then tells me cash is best there's an atm right there. I decline and tell her I want to use my card she tries to again convince me to take money out the atm and use cash because using debit will charge a fee. That same fee being charged will be the same fee at the atm. I decline and tell her I want to use my card. I had a $20 bill and asked for change to give her a tip. She separates the money with the $10 bill closest to her. I gathered the money and gave her a $5. The way this woman's face changed and she gave me the nastiest look and said something to me that I didn't catch because I was on the phone but it was definitely something rude. I was already not pleased with the experience and she gave mediocre service but the fact that the tip amount wasn't to her liking and she made a rude comment I will not be coming back. All in all , it seems like she was money hungry and will try to get it any way that she can. I walked in for a regular manicure on Monday after work. There were only three ladies working but I was able to get one of them since there weren't too many clients at 5 pm. The lady knew what she was doing and took it from there. There wasn't any upselling (which I appreciate) and my polish looked good. The place itself is cramped and to be honest, it doesn't appear to be very clean. I say this because the place and the materials look out dated. My experience here was pretty decent. I called beforehand to make sure they had time for me as it was a Saturday and made an appointment for about an hour later. The place itself is pretty small and not especially pristine. But price is the biggest factor for me with my nails, so you definitely are getting fair prices for the services. I got an acrylic fill in with gel color for about $30. They look great and have lasted well. Going on two weeks and I still don't need another fill. I just moved to the area so I'm going to try out other places but it is somewhere I would consider returning to while I try to find my new nail place. read more

I've been here twice, and each time got the man who works there. Word of advice: don't get the man to do your nails. First time I got a gel, and the gel was coated over my nails and onto the skin of my fingers, was caught in thick globs under my nails, and the coats were uneven. Second time I was going to get a gel, but he cut my nails so short it looks like I bite them. I then told them I didn't want a gel anymore because they were too short, and he made snarky sounding remarks in Korean to the women who worked there who then proceeded to give me nasty looks and talk about me, making me feel very uncomfortable. He then got the regular polish all over my fingers too. They're only saving grace is how cheap it is, but you get what you pay for. read more

I'm still new to this whole reviewing thing and feel bad writing a bad review but I just have to. Bad service, bad work and overpriced. Initially I was hoping to make this my new nail place. It was closer to my house than green nails and always empty which meant no wait times. But theirs a reason its empty! The first time I got gels, it was alright, but than after that, the nails started to peel within days. The last straw was when almost evey single one of my nails was lifting (BADLY) after 5 days. Gels dont have to be bad for your nails but if I kept going like this, I dont even wanna know how much damage I'd have done. Plus they were incredibly overpriced. I had the misfortune of getting UV gels here for the first time ever. I knew pink and whites were supposed to be expensive, so I didn't really blink an eye. Until I went back to my regular place and got them done there. And paid close to 1/3 of the price. And they last for over 3 weeks with no peeling. Plus they're pretty rude. I dont expect my nail lady to be nice to me but its a plus. ANd they close ridiculously early. I get out of work at 6. How am I supposed to get naything done if the last appointment is at 6?
