BEST NAIL & WAX PLACE EVER!!!! If you have gone to the nail salons on Broadway in fair lawn they can be a nightmare but not this place. Pros: -they have awesome color selection - max amount of time you will ever wait is 5 minutes -they give you an amazing massage (pedicures are so worth the extra coin) -you get another 2 massages when you dry (one from the ladies and one from the owner & holy cow it makes the week better) - CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ON POINT (Jay the owner remembered me by first name a week after going back - the ladies are all extremely sweet) Cons: -None. parking in Ridgewood I don't find that difficult if you park on the side streets and talk a nice walk. I want to get my nails done here on Saturday for the first time. The woman was very kind. I brought my own color with me that I could often touch it up. I wasn't please with the fact that she used some kind a nail Hardner that I had to actually pay an extra dollar for given my nails got weak from nail gels. While I wasn't surprised I had to pay extra for harder, as I've done that at other nail salons. What bothered me was that the product was very gooey and so a few of my nails did not dry properly. I also asked for regular manicure after I had a gel manicure from another nail salon and she charge me five dollars extra just to soak it off which has never been the case at other nail salons. However It was worth the five bucks given she did take all of the nail gel off well. Yet overall, I'm not so sure I would go back here anytime soon when I have been to far better nail salons and they are now at least three in every other corner in every other town. I've been to better and in fact, have offers on Monday Tuesday Wednesday where you can get a gel manicure and pedicure for $ 35 bucks or mani/pedi for $25. read more

After years of searching, I've finally found my salon! Very sanitary & clean (store and all tools), the nail technicians are extremely talented and the service is excellent! The owner Jay knows how to treat his clients!! He's very welcoming & hospitable. I get massages while waiting for my nails to dry or picking out a nail color. They're open on Sunday which is a huge plus for a Bergen County business. You get $10 off after 10 visits. The regular pedis ($25) include a hot stone massage & a paraffin wax treatment. Nice basic salon. Clean. Friendly staff, especially the male manager. He saw my purse on the floor and moved it to a chair and apologized for not moving it earlier stating that it was his job to take care of his customers. Pretty surprised at the service I received based on the reviews I read before coming. I made an appointment and as soon as I sat down, I felt rushed. I wasn't a fan of their color collection either. My gel manicure was done in 15 minutes. She forgot to remove the cuticles from one hand, I had to tell her to file my nails evenly because she didn't even look at them after swinging the nail filer around, and 2 nails had marks in them from her not painting them correctly. She didn't even look at my nails at the end to see if they were ok. I then sat in the pedicure chair for 20 minutes waiting for someone to start my pedi. I think that defeats the purpose of making a nail appointment. The positives were that they used individual disposable liners in the pedicure chair which was sanitary and the staff was friendly but I will not be coming back based on feeling rushed :( read more

Came to Cozy Nails on a Sunday looking forward to a relaxing pedicure. Worst ideas EvER! They completely rushed through both my manicure and pedicure, cuticles were barely touched and I could have painted my nails better at home. Three of us went in today to get mani/pedis and had such a fantastic experience! We were very very late for our appointment so we called and they still had room for us! Super thankful and lucky! We felt very welcome walking in, its a very nice place, extremely clean, and a lot of excellent nail polishes to pick from! The manicure was great - I just got a regular one. She did a fantastic job! The pedicure was amazing too, Jay did a great job! They both really spent time with us and we did not feel rushed at all. The massages were so good too! Called at 10:40 on a Wednesday morning for an appointment the same day, and the owner asked if I could come right now, for 11:00! Mom got a French gel manicure and I got a traditional manicure. We got there for an 11 o'clock appt and were finished, paid, and out the door in about 35 minutes. The nail techs were professional and friendly, the salon is very clean (including sanitized instruments) and relaxing. We each got two massages, one while I was getting the manicure and one more while my polish was drying! The owner gave me a punch card to get a $10 coupon after 10 visits, and gave me Mom's credit too, since she lives in Florida and was here visiting for Christmas. My 4 daughters and I went there for manicure/pedicures the day before her wedding. As soon as you walk in you are happily greeted. We all picked our colors. This place is great! My pedicure was amazing. I loved that they used a disposable foot scrubber! No sharing dead skin with others. They massaged my feet and legs for a good amount of time AND it was amazing! Probably the best foot and leg massage I've had at a pedicure. I dont event know where to start, other than to say that if you want a relaxing mani/pedi this is not the place to go! I specifically called and asked what time there was an opening and was told to go at 3:30. Got there a little early. Started with the mani. Prior to getting nails painted, I went to the bathroom. As I was coming out the man says "pls. sit- we have other appointment"! What?!?!?!?!? That might explain why I got no water bowl to relax hands in, no cream, and no arm massage! The lady doing my nails rushed through the paint job so she could get on to the next client! Then to the pedicure. All was good with the pedicure until he took the cuticles that he had cut and dumped them into the basin where my other foot was soaking. Happened to be in Ridgewood with some time to kill and decided to get a pedicure to relax and treat myself. To be totally honest, my experience was great. The massage was especially relaxing and the paraffin wax treatment for my heels was excellent. HOWEVER... about 36 hours later, my lower calves were covered in painful, itchy pimples. I didn't immediately trace it back to the pedicure, but my doctor asked a few questions that made it obvious the salon was the source of my folliculitis. They made the very odd choice to dump the exfoliating scrub into the bottom of the empty soaking tub and have me rub my feet into it before then using it to scrub the rest of my lower legs. I thought this was a little weird, but I didn't think much else of it at the time. But now my legs look gross, I'm on heavy duty antibiotics, and the pain and itching are pretty unbearable, especially in the summer heat. Will this happen to you? Probably not. Am I incredibly annoyed that it happened to me? Very much so. read more

This is my favorite nail place, I won't go to any others. When I first moved into the area I had a hard time finding a replacement salon, until I found this gem. The staff and the owner are so warm and welcoming, they always remember my name and even what's going on in my life. As for nails, they do a wonderful job, my favorite is the pedicures. They take the time to give you a deep massage, paraffin, AND hot stone, I would get one every week if I could afford too, but instead I make it by every 2-3.
