Great find near AMC theater. Lovely people. Good service. Food was beautifully presented. Not the best Thai, but it was really good and the price was very fair. I also had their Tom Yum soup and it was excellent! The room was kitschy in a good way. We will be back!

Not sure why this doesn't have better ratings. I went for dinner tonight. The food was excellent. The place is beautiful and quirky. The lighting and level of the music are just right. Check this place out!

Cozy Noodles And Rice is...cozy. It has such a crazy interior it almost makes me forget about how good the food is. Lots of action figures, robots and whatever crazy treasures others discarded have been placed on every square inch of the walls. Kind of distracting like there's too much going on, but it's clear this place is more than about food. This location doesn't feel quite as welcoming compared to the other one, maybe because it's not the same area probably. All the stuff that's in here, and there's still enough room to dine inside. It's hard to look away, and you'll be scanning the walls throughout your meal. This restaurant is almost packed full of random items like the one at Wrigley Field, but there's no Cubs stuff. Lots more things are crammed in here however. There's another wall with hundreds of toy robots. I almost forget about the food. What I had last time was a Hot Tea, the Vegetable Pot Stickers, and the Tofu Salad. It's about $10 for a good amount of tofu and fixings. This is spicy with cilantro and while it's not huge, it's still a lot though. Crazy amount of salt, for real. This item was especially salty. Best place for crazy looking Thai restaurants and food. If you love kitschy junk you'll love looking around here. Those who dine in have to pay cash, or pay the fee, but why do that though you however can actually use a credit card or whatever.

This local Thai spot has been a staple in Evanston for many years and always serves hot, delicious food. Sadly, the last few times I've gone with friends at 11:30 am, (their listed opening time), they did not actually open until at least 15 minutes later, while people waited outside. Luckily, the quality of the food hasn't changed, but anyone needing to get in and out early during the work week may want to consider other options in the area.

There was a live saxophone player and I loved the live flowers they had. Our waiter was extremely nice and took the time to explain the menu as well as their customer favorites. I order a Thai iced tea which wasn't bad but I prefer mine a little thicker and sweeter. It came in a thin tall glass which in theory was not a lot of drink. To start we order the chicken appetizer and fried beef on rice to share and unfortunately I did not snap a pic but these were listed under apps or shareables but the portions were extremely small. As our mains came I noticed that they were also small and each were around $20-$30 per plate. Not a bad thing if you don't eat much but I'm a big bang for buck type of gal. My family came to share and this place is a more fine dining thai restaurant which could explain the smaller portions. We ordered the pad Thai which was alright in my opinion I expected a little more flavor, the aubergine which was tossed vegetables as recommended by our waiter which was also ok not much flavor but beautiful plating though, and the coconut curry which was by far my favorite. If I were to come back here I would order that again, it was a nice light yet complex flavor profile which made me savor every bite. Overall good place for an upbeat fancier meal and I highly recommend the coconut curry braised chicken if you visit. Little pricey but that's just my opinion let me know what you guys think if you visit! Oh and they also give your receipt in a boat which they spin and leave a thank you card once you paid which was really cute.

The shallot rice with vegetables had no vegetables at all and tasted as if it was premade and warmed up again in the microwave. The shallot rice with beef was the same and contained tiny bits of burned beef. The sushi was not fresh and the crispy spring rolls were akin to dog treat sticks. The food is expensive and some of the worse food I've ever had. While I appreciate the business owners detailed response, there are contradictions. When ordering the shallot fried rice from the restaurants website on July 2, vegetables were included as an option. Today vegetables have been replaced with herbs. Nevertheless we chose the available vegetable option therefore vegetables were requested. The restaurant received our vegetables request as indicated on the pictured receipt and packaging. We received herbs and rice but no vegetables. We did not order through a third party delivery service. We placed the order through the restaurant website and I arrived early to pick up the food. I hope that the owner is able to receive my feedback constructively and take accountability for the issues my family encountered with the restaurant.

Everyone needs a clutch restaurant. The place that always comes through. It's convenient,…read moreconsistent, and, most of all, incredibly good. I've had many clutch spots over the years as I moved around, but it took me a minute to find my North Shore go-to. But here I am, a local for half a year now, and my go-to is Ni's, 100%. Lisa, the owner extraordinaire, is friendly, engaging, and an absolute customer service star. Not to mention a formidable chef. She has an obvious passion for food and its cultural history, and I love talking with her about it. The whole crew at Ni's is awesome and always happy to chat or handle any dish alterations. They clearly care about their clientele, and it's one of the things that keeps me coming back. My "must have" is the veggie summer rolls. I get them every time. Really, really good. And after living in the Vietnamese neighborhood of San Francisco for a few years, eating out almost daily, I've had my fair share of summer rolls. The produce at Ni's is always fresh, and I love how they cleverly use jicama for crunch. The rolls come with peanut sauce, but Ni's makes a delicious vegan fish sauce in-house that I go with almost every time. Banh Mi, Veggie Pho, Crispy Tofu, Fried Rice, I've had everything on the menu that is vegan or can be made so, and I'll gladly order them all again and again. This is not an all-vegan restaurant by any stretch (fear not, meat eaters), but Lisa goes out of her way to have options, and I've never been anything but satisfied. Even my kindergartner is into the veggie Pho broth and summer rolls, and he's not the easiest to please. Wilmette is lucky to have Ni's. I hope everyone knows that. They're tucked around the corner from the busier area of Central Ave and Wilmette Ave, and I've been doing my best to spread the word. "You've never been to Ni's?! Get the hell outta here.." So, if you didn't know, now you do. You're welcome.

A lot of the familiar things on the menu. There's of course the banh mi and pho. It's about $13 for the Veggie Pho Chay. This has bamboo and mushrooms. Has a few things to add on. There's basil leaves, bean sprouts, and jalapeños to give it spiciness. Has a great variety of Vietnamese classics. It's closed Tuesdays. There's a few things for vegans and vegetarians.
