First, we had a virtual appointment with his staff and it was so helpful as she walked us through their showroom and showed us the various options to consider. From there, she was able to provide us with a ballpark quote and schedule an appt with Mike where he came to our house and we picked out the actual shades after seeing samples. When Mike arrived for both our consultation and installation he was wearing a mask and boot covers and took COVID very seriously. I wanted to update my review. 1.5 years after Mike installed my motorized shades I started to experience trouble with my WiFi gateway that controls them. I emailed him for advice and he promptly replied and scheduled a visit during which he assessed my problem and called the manufacturer to request a second gateway at no charge, which fixed my issue. This is an expensive device and I doubt I would have gotten this if I called the manufacturer myself. Kudos to Mike for going above and beyond for me! 5+ stars! read more

We are so glad to have found Mike to do all the blinds and curtains for our new home. He deserves all five stars! We are first time home owners. So when we sat down to choose blinds for our new home, we were a bit overwhelmed in the beginning with all the different options available. We were unsure of what will look best and also fit into our budget. Mike was extremely patient with us through out the process. Not only he answered all our questions, he came multiple times to show us samples and even took us to his home (that's back when there was no shelter in place) to show how zebra blinds look when installed. He made some very good suggestions, walked us through different options available, helped us stick to our budget and had a wide array of products to choose from. Horrible customer service and results. I'm a big fan of Hunter Douglas window treatment, I've had them for years. We are remodeling our home so it was time to upgrade our shades. We went with fully motorized blinds. The installation was horrible, the very same night of the installation, in the middle of the night we heard a loud bang, come to find out the motor had fallen down. The very next morning the second fell down and broke, by time we made it home from work the third motor had fallen. I email the owner and he came to our home a couple of days later. He used cheap double-sided tape to attached the motors, I shared with him, I'm sure Hunter Douglas doesn't know you're installing the blinds with double-sided tape and not actually securing the motors by drilling them behind the shade. He said, he would drill the motor outside of the blinds, which would be exposed. I explained how horrible that would look to have three motors drilled in the wall outside of the blinds which would be visible, he said that was the only solution HOWEVER, upon ordering and measuring the blinds he never mentioned it would be an issue securing the motor. My husband tried to provide him with a better solution, "simply clean the area, purchase better double sided tape to secure the battery", he wasn't trying to listen so things got a little heated so he left us with three batteries not installed. We had to purchase the tape and secure the batteries. We spent nearly $5000 and we're totally shocked by the lack of customer service. Make sure you ask all the necessary questions regarding your installation before ordering anything with him because accepting your money he's great at but problem solving and after payment customer service is horrible. read more
