I really appreciated that she asked about my massage preference beforehand--whether I preferred light pressure, deep tissue, etc. She did an excellent job working out the kinks and knots in my back and neck. Whenever the pressure felt a little too strong, I let her know and she adjusted right away. Although the massage rooms are private, the walls don't go all the way up to the ceiling--they function more like dividers--so you may hear someone in the next room. Personally, I didn't mind because the relaxing zen background music helped mute most of the noise. Mia is such a sweet person and an excellent masseuse.
