Paul stated the problem was far more likely bad capacitors and that the diodes could very likely still be serviceable. He was 100% correct. He helped with the diagnosis and talked me through the repair process. While it took me a while online to find replacement capacitors as I could not find a local supply store in Worcester, once the capacitors arrived and were installed I was back in full operation. I called Paul to thank him for his excellent advice and his time to help me resolve my generator problem. Shortly there after, Paul called back with additional unsolicited support regarding adjusting the throttle setting for cleaner power (Hz).
