What a rare find this was! A pizza place that serves cauliflower pizza is legendary in my book. Since I'm trying to stay away from carbs and what not, but also love Pizza, we I found out this place existed I immediately knew what I was getting for dinner! CP Pizza has plenty of daily deals to choose from that are great. I ordered 3 of the 2 topping 12in Pizza (with cauliflower crust) for around $7-8$ each! It didn't take too long to make and when I arrived to pick it up I noticed there was only one human working. I thought that was pretty impressive but also makes me think they need more business! I encourage everyone to tell their friends about this place because it's definitely a hidden gym. The human working there was so kind and even sparked up a little conversation and asked how I heard of the place. Those little things definitely make a person feel welcomed and want to come back for more. The pizza itself was good but as with all cauliflower pizza it's comes with a weird aftertaste after awhile so it's no knock to them. Tell your keto/ lowcarb friends to visit!

Cheesy Breadsticks

I want to preface this review by making it clear that I am in no way a healthy eater. I am not gluten-free I am not on any special diet I was just intrigued by the pictures I had seen of their cauliflower crust. So when the opportunity arose to try it out I thought why not. I ordered a 12 inch cauliflower crust with pepperoni and green olives and a order of cheesy breadsticks. 30 minutes later my order was ready. The total was a little pricier than what I normally pay for pizza but there is a two dollar up charge for the cauliflower crust. So for 12 inch, two topping, cauliflower crust and cheese breadsticks it was a little over $20. There was only one employee working and she was very nice both on the phone and in person. When I got home I told my husband we were eating cauliflower crust pizza he was skeptical but we were both very pleasantly surprised. Somehow it stands up to the toppings although I imagine with more it would be more difficult and while it doesn't taste like a traditional pizza crust it doesn't taste overly like cauliflower it really just picks up the flavor of the sauce and cheese and toppings. I'm not saying I'm going to go crazy and replace my delicious, chewy, gluten crust with cauliflower all the time but I would absolutely, 100%, as a gluten loving, bread indulgent person have this pizza again. I think that if I was on a special diet and was looking for an alternative to a traditional pizza crust this would be an excellent choice. I managed to try one of the breadsticks before my children inhaled the rest and it was excellent fluffy on the inside slightly chewy with just the right amount of butter and cheese. If the regular pizza crust is anything like that I'm looking forward to trying it out as well.

Burned! Very sparse on cheese.

Ok, I had a Groupon worth $25 at this establishment. I had never tried it, but thought I'd see if it was worth it. I only paid half price for the Groupon, so what the heck. I called at 7:15 pm for a carry out order of two pizzas, one a 12 inch cauliflower crust with 4 toppings and a 14 inch pepperoni. The gal who took my order and probably made my pizza was friendly and professional. She said it would be ready in 30 min. I stopped in to pickup at around the 25 min point. The pizzas were done and in the box staying warm. I paid and tipped her well, and was on my way. Once in my car, I peeked at the cauliflower one and it looked and smelled totally burned. I took it back in and the carry out guy said, "the cauliflower crust pizzas normally look that way and don't smell that good". SO, I reluctantly turned around and took them both home, only to discover the other pizza was over cooked as well. It was sparse in the cheese and pepperoni as well and the crust was like cardboard. The cauliflower crust pizza did not taste too bad, but was still very over cooked IMHO. I doubt I will return or recommend this place to anyone else. Too bad, as they look like they are trying, just need to reduce their cook time and be more generous on one topping pizzas the 4 topping cauliflower crust pizza was generously topped and flavorful...beyond the burnt taste!

Sweet sauce, crunchy crust and generous with the toppings. Maybe not the BEST pizza, but overall, pretty good! I'd definitely recommend it, and will be back.

Not burned?? Really?? Would you pay for this?

Seems like a very rude place, that could use some cleaning up. Only picked up for food delivery.

The space is cozy and pretty large, with what looked to be a private area with a birthday party going on towards the back. Our server was really friendly and patient as we explored the menu, which features Sicilian items like pizza, pasta, and several starters. We wanted to try some appetizers so we ordered the cozze di mare (mussels) with white sauce, rotoli (eggplant rolls filled with Prosciutto di Parma, house-made tomato sauce and provolone cheese, baked then topped with basil), and a Caesar salad. The mussels and eggplant dish came out first and were delicious. I personally loved the eggplant rotoli the most - the eggplant was tender, the sauce was savory, and it was stuffed with cheese and prosciutto... yum! I would get this as a meal with a side of garlic bread for dipping. The mussels were nicely cooked and the sauce was subtle. The salad was crisp and fresh and I liked the different toppings (fresh tomatoes and sun dried tomatoes). The Caesar salad only comes in the large size, but it was good to share with the group. For dinner we shared a couple of pizzas - the bocce and a margherita. The freshly grated cheese over top was perfection - don't skip this! I loved all the toppings on the bocce (basically a version of a supreme pizza) but the pepperoni was my favorite with how crispy it got. The crust was missing a bit of flavor for me, but it was cooked well and not soggy. We were too stuffed for dessert but I'd come back for their cannoli or rotating cheesecake flavors! I want to try their pasta next also.

The ricotta balls in red sauce melt in your mouth! Yum We ordered garlic bread for the main dish and it too was delicious crusty and perfectly cooked. My husband said it needed a little more garlic flavor but I loved it. He had spaghetti and meatballs and said it was the best he hahad in Grand Rapids! He is a tough critic so this is a real compliment. I had the Ricotta Salsicca for the main dish and it was fantastic! Seasoned perfectly. The sauce and cheese were amazing We had the cannoli's for desert! Delicious crispy with yummy filling! April was our waitress and she was on top of everything! She made recommendations and was pleasant and personable. We had been to the other location many times but the new location is gorgeous! Modern and spacious with a great parking lot! We will be back no doubt but thanks for a great Valentine's Day!

It was portioned correctly. It just was very bland compared to what else you can get in Grand Rapids. The chili cheese fries also were not horrible but I wanna say they were great. It is just gas station cheese and chili from a can. Again, not horrible just nothing special. Overall, I probably wouldn't recommend this place but I also want to steer someone away either especially if you are drunk and at the bar across the street. I'm sure it tastes much better. That being said, I think it's a perfect restaurant for its location. There is not a ton of competition directly next-door or across the street. And technically, the Bar across the street has food of a similar quality however it is a nice alternative It's up to you. There's much better places in town for hotdog however, I would give the spot another shot to try the Italian beef. I have heard it is not excellent, but I have not had it Personally.

My cousin and I sat at the bar, and you can get full service at the bar. She ordered a hot dog and I had a pizza. The hot dog came with that weird neon relish, in typical Chicago fashion, and was on a poppyseed bun. The fries are crinkle cut, and I don't know what seasoning they use, but it was so good! A little sweetness mixed in with the spices. The pizza was good; thin crust and cut square style like they do in Chicago, which I forgot about and kind of hate. I should've asked for silverware, but didn't. Next time I'd ask for it pie cut instead. The flavor was really good though. It was a bit pricey for what it was - it was a 12" pizza, and each topping an additional $3. $21 just seems high to me for a thin crust pepperoni mushroom pizza. I had draft beer and my cousin had a mixed drink. She had no complaints about hers, and mine was quite good! So many places draft beer tastes a little soapy, whether it's the way the clean their lines or how they wash their glasses, but I didn't taste any of that here. There aren't many choices on draft but was a good variety. They also have a full bar and lots of canned beverage choices. They don't have the healthiest menu, but that's not surprising since they're known for Chicago hot dogs, Italian beef, and pizza. If you know what you're going for it's perfect! The vibe is good. The space is pretty open, gets a decent amount of light, is clean, and there is parking! The restrooms are tiny, but clean, and I appreciate that after you wash your hands the door opens out so you don't have to touch a handle. We went on a Monday after work, which does turn into karaoke night, but we had time for a couple drinks and food before that really got going. It also wasn't crazy in there and we could still carry on a conversation at the bar without having to yell. I'm glad I finally made it in, and fully appreciate having them in the North Monroe area. I will definitely plan to have more happy hours here!
