Pesto pizza with balsamic drizzle, fantastic!
    Karen E.

This review is for delivery only. I have had previous problems with delivery from Licaris. They just aren't consistently checking the orders before they go out. So they miss things, and you either don't get things in your order or don't get it made correctly. I guess that makes me not so smart to try them again at this point. I get the occasional missed topping on a pizza or something, but we were out an entire entree, and it was a whole salmon fillet on top of pasta. That's a reeeeeeelly hard thing to miss. The food is great, so dine in where you can send it back if it's wrong. Use delivery at your own risk.

My family insists this is the best pizza in GR and I have to agree.

I'm a big fan of this place. The new location is more expansive with significantly better parking. The service remains quite good and I find that even new staff members are very friendly and attentive. I haven't had anything bad here, but the sandwiches are great and the pizza is top-notch. I maintain that it's the best pizza in town. I visited with the family again today and everything was fantastic. I got "The Leo", which is a breaded chicken sandwich with bacon, provolone and vinaigrette while my kids got pizza. It is not cheap, but I always walk out happy and feeling I got my money's worth.

Yummy. Not the best thin crust pizza I've had but solid. (Chicago's Spacca Napoli is on another planet, good) but I'll definitely be coming back here to try the fungi, pazzo, and verde. Calamari was good, nothing to rave about. Portions were good for 2. Bruschetta is a classic and didn't disappoint. Presentation was nice. My husband randomly wanted a passion fruit margarita and by our amazement they could make it!! Kudos for that!

Pizza is overpriced in my opinion. The small restraunt is nicely designed and located but the food as you can see is average

Great new location and great design but same old menu. Food was below average. I'd pay more if the sause was fresh. The food is salty and speaking of salty the service was like Rosie O'Donnell was my waitress. The service was terrible. When I go out to eat I want to have a happy waitress or waiter helping me choose the food and make recommendation. I felt like I was trying to cheer up the server. It was ok food but I can't go back.

Licari's has always been a favorite of mine! Both locations give top notch service and serve up amazing authentic cuisine! The new Leonard location is cozy, decorated very nicely, has great parking, and it's in a very convenient location! Both the standard menu and kids menu have options for everyone. They also have an allergen friendly menu upon request! I'm celiac and dairy free and can always find something new to try! If you're looking for a rental space or catering, be sure to check them out! We've hosted a few events here and it's always great.

Food was great, pasta felt homemade and made with care, pizza was a little greasy but was better than most take out pizzas, me and my wife had a bartender serve us and although very busy making drinks still took great care of us! Cocktails are very good but don't be afraid to ask for drink recommendations because they know what's best! The restaurant is very chilly but offers a warm presence with a modern atmosphere.

when i tried this place 2 years ago - it wasn't amazing but i thought it was good pizza. since then, it has gone completely downhill. bruschetta was great but the positives for food end there.. the pizza was like cardboard with cheese. the dough was dry and flavorless. what happened here? bad dough day? salad was also flavorless. mounds of jarred roasted bell pepper but the flavors did not go together. should have just leaned heavy on the pine nuts, olive oil, and lemon. that's all that it needs - not a mound of oily peppers. the salad had no character. kale wasn't massaged enough either. i'm sad to say that i left hungry from this place. service was good with all the water refills.

We've gotten plenty of takeout from Quarantino's over the years, but only recently stopped by to dine in. We were greeted right away and got to choose a nice booth by the window. The menu is concise and features their delicious Detroit style pizza. I was starving so we ended up ordering quite a bit to have leftovers - the kale Caesar salad, one of the weekly feature pizzas, and the Quarantino's deluxe. The salad is one of my favorites - it's made with curly kale and topped with crunchy kettle potato chips. It's always good and makes for great leftovers because it's so hearty. Our pizzas came out shortly after our salad was finished and they were delicious. Their crust is perfection - fluffy but chewy and crispy in the right places. I personally love their red sauce the most because it's savory, and not overly sweet. The toppings on the deluxe were plentiful and high quality. The special pizza rotates weekly(ish) and this one had 'nduja, ramp aioli, and shredded potato. Plus lots of cheese. Their specials are always inventive and sound so tasty. Our server was super fun and awesome to chat with. I really liked him, he brought such a big smile to my face. I am so glad we finally got to have the dine in experience at Quarantino's and we'll be back for their mid-week pizza, pasta, salad deal!

The place was packed full of people (a sign of a great restaurant) and while I sat and waited over fifteen minutes past my pickup time, I watched people come in, be told it will be a few minutes and then their receipt/order gets pulled and then taken to the back, like mine was. Almost as if they don't bother making the pizza until you show up? Anyway, we picked up our pizza and bread and headed out. I was surprised at the small box that contained both the pizza AND the bread; I got into the car and opened it and laughed. The pizza was small, the bread was small. I was surprised at how little food there was. Oh well! Lesson learned. We took it back to our hotel and fed the kids. The pizza looked delicious, but was just ok. The cheese bread looked amazing - and then I bit into it. Dill. Why is there dill on the cheese bread? Overall, it was an experience. Nothing terrible, nothing great. Note: finding parking for carry out is a challenge.

Nate and I have had their food twice now - once was a complimentary pizza order during their soft opening period, and we just ordered delivery over a lazy holiday weekend. We got the supreme pizza and cheesy bread on our most recent order, and have also tried the caprese salad and rustica pizza. The menu includes lots of options beyond pizza - appetizers, subs, wraps, salads, pasta, stromboli, and dessert! They have vegan cheese and cauliflower crust options too. Online ordering is quick and easy through the Franca's Pizzeria website, and I like that they use their own delivery drivers. The charge for delivery was only $4 which isn't bad, especially considering all the upcharges for third-party delivery services these days. I ordered ahead for a later time and it arrived a few minutes early. All the food was hot and fresh. The supreme pizza has ham, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green pepper, and onion. The hand tossed crust is a medium thickness, but they also have thick crust as an option. The toppings were plentiful and fresh, and I loved the sausage. The sauce is not overly sweet, so it gets a thumbs up from me. The cheesy bread is really good! It's not super tough or crunchy, I like that it's pillowy in the middle. You can get extra cheese, but I thought the regular amount was plenty. We also loved the caprese salad - it was super fresh, with a nice amount of fresh mozzarella and dressed nicely. It was nice to have a bit of a healthy side to go with our tasty pizza. Franca's rates slightly above Peppino's for me (my other favorite local pizza spot), mostly due to their unique toppings and specialty pizza combinations. I'm super intrigued by the campagnola: margherita sauce, caramelized mushrooms and onions, sausage, bleu cheese, tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella. If you're in the area and need a takeout pizza, check out Franca's.

The Foolery came up on Yelp and figured we could not go wrong with pizza to feed our starving children. They have a great selection of Detroit style pizzas here. We didn't feel like being adventurous so went with the pepperoni. I've always loved Detroit style pizzas due to the thicker crust that's crispy on the sides and The Foolery passed the assignment. Pizza was really good! And as a Chicagoan, that means a lot! The size of the pizza is a little small - but you get 6 slices so if you're hungry or got a big group to feed, I would plan accordingly. Remember Detroit style is a rectangle pie, not circular like a standard whole pizza. We got the Elote dip as an appetizer and it was a clever take on one of my favorite Mexican snacks. It came with elote corn and chips on the side. Like I said, clever and not bad! Our server that day was awesome. We had a group of about 13 people and they just had small pub tables that fit 4 people each. But no problem because he was willing to organize the whole front room and put 4 of those tables side by side to accommodate all of us. He did it happily and without complaints. Our food did take some time to come out, but that's ok. I was amongst great company and had a good drink in hand, we were out of town and all was good. I would come here again.

We could not hear each other at all, even almost yelling, so we really couldn't talk. If you're going to eat and vibe, might be the place for you but to go eat, it was a bit extreme. Also they have "$3 beers" after 9 and it was just PBR. All others were regular price. Marketing was a bit misleading there.
