My Mac hard drive failed and in an amazing show of good customer service was referred to CPR Cell Phone Repair by Best Buy for service. Was greeted by a young man, who was, like every person I communicated with here, pleasant in all possible ways. I brought the computer in on a Friday and was told that due to some staffing issues, they wouldn't be able to do anything with it until Monday or Tuesday. Having not heard from them on Tuesday, I contacted them on Wednesday, at which point they said it was on someone's workbench. The long and short of it is that after a few of these conversations, the work was completed on Thursday, right at the close of business. When I arrived on Friday to pick it up, I was again greeted pleasantly and we closed our business, or so I thought. When I get the computer home, I open it up and was asked for someone's password. I thought maybe it was that of the person who was working on it, but after calling them up, learned that the wrong image was installed. Returned to the store, was met with apologies and the work was redone while I waited. In addition to the mia culpa, without asking, they provided a refund on part of the total cost for my inconvenience. In spite of a few hiccups along the way, I was all in all very satisfied with the service rendered here, the good customer service and a computer that hums like it hasn't in a couple of years. read more

I had an issue with my cellphone where the back of the case was bulging up for unknown reasons. I found that there's a placed called, "Uptech," that should be able to help. Help they did. Uptech is an affordable place for their services. They work on not just the popular iPhones, but Samsung products, computers, and gaming systems. In my case, they helped diagnose what was going with my cellphone (battery was overheating). They do lots of other things too such as: data back up, malware removal, replacing screens on mobile devices, battery replacements, and more technical repairs. I called, came in shortly after, and, Chris, was able to fix my cellphone within 30 minutes. He was kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. All characteristics you'd expect from great service. If you're not a pro at fixing technology as I am, or just can't figure it out, I highly recommend paying a visit to Uptech! Would definitely return if occasion calls for it. read more

Not really happy. I bought my phone in to be repaired for a cracked screen. He replaced my screen twice. The first one the lcd had a line across it. The second had another lcd issue. They didn't have anymore screens so he said he would order another one and I would have to come back tomorrow and get this one replaced. I looked at my phone and my screen isn't as bright and clear as it was before. I tried playing with the settings thinking they changed something but my screen color is horrible and I have a spot on my screen still. I'm not sure as to why they didn't or couldn't fix the screen properly the first time. Not real happy right now. Hopefully when I go back tomorrow they'll fix the issue of my screen color being horrible. 10/07/2020 here's a update for you I've called CPR everyday since Monday about my phone. The screen was only broken. My Face ID stop working thinking it was just the screen protector on the new screen that's broken that they installed was the issue so I took it off and my Face ID still doesn't work. Tried deleting and creating a new one. Nope can't do it. Called they told me replacing the screen could mess up the camera and they don't have the tools to fix that!!! are you serious!!! My phones screen is popping out from the housing on the bottom right. Today (Wednesday) my phone screen would just turn off as if the phone is off. Touching or picking it up doesn't turn the phone back on. Pushing the side button will turn the phone on but it'll turn off as soon as you try to do something this has happened twice today. They put a cheap screen on my phone and I only noticed when I was leaving that my color was off and not as bright and pure as before. When I go back tomorrrow im going to address all these issues again just as I have when I've been calling everyday! Poor service! And they better not try to say oh it's your phone I've never and I mean never had a issue with my phone until my screen broke and I decided to get it replaced. Should have kept the cracked screen! My iPhones quit charging. I was able to set an appointment and get a free estimate online prior to the stores opening. I arrived received prompt service, and he even brought out some paper and markers for my kids to color with while we waited. In less than twenty minutes my phone is up and running again. I brought in my iPad Mini 2 for screen replacement on a Sunday evening. The clerk was rude and was annoyed that I came in 30 mins before closing. I was told they had the parts in stock but after I left they called to say they would have to order the screen and it would be ready on Wednesday. I picked up the iPad at noon, took of the scratched protective cover and put it on the charger, 4 hours later and without any use the screen was cracked!!! I also noticed that the front facing camera wasn't lined up correctly! I went back immediately and was told they would give me a $20 discount on replacing the screen again. I did not think this was acceptable since the crack was through no fault of my own. The clerk called the manager back but they would only talk to the clerk and not to me. The clerk then called the "owner" I was offered the bargain price of $30 to replace the glass again. I just couldn't bring myself to spend another $30 with a company that has poor customer service and terrible quality of work!! Save your time and money (even though they make it seem like they are giving you a good price it shows in the quality) and go somewhere else! read more

I had gone to one place and they basically talked me out of a repair because the phone (IPhone 5s) was a piece of crap - their words. So I went to our carrier ( AT&T ) to get a new phone.
