It doesn't take over a week to get a part shipped, and it certainly doesn't take 2 weeks to find out what's wrong with it. Every step of the way they have either blown me off or told me I need to keep waiting. I won't be going back to this place and I recommend you find somewhere else to get repairs done. Both repairs were completed by a young guy, very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable, he even laughed at my bad jokes. Both repair were completed in less than 30 minutes. My wife's phone repair cost $80 and she's had no problems at all since the repair ( about 2 months). The battery on the other phone was done for $45. Parts were $25 and labor $20. I took in my hard drive and explained my issue to David and how disappointed that the place I took it to originally, weren't able to recover my data. He said it would take 3-5 business days. Feeling that there was a chance in fixing my computer, I asked if I could pay now (which was $150) and left. David calls shortly after to ask questions regarding the hard drive. I'm put on hold so he could talk to the tech guy (whom I never saw, but assumed he was in back). David then told me it couldn't be fixed based on their diagnosis. I come back thinking I'd be refunded, since I paid to what I thought was towards the repair. When confronted, David apologized and shrugged it off, admitting he forgot to mention it. I would've asked to speak to someone else, but a customer was there and I don't like causing scenes. Not only did I pay $150 for a quote advertised as free, they took all of 20 minutes to diagnose something I already knew that it wasn't likely to be fixed. Not only was he super expensive but he lied to me. I had an extender put on my 1 karat diamond pendant that I've had for more than 40 years. The original box chain has never broken, I just wanted it to hang longer with a new piece of jewelry I'm wearing. I also needed a new lobster clasp on an anklet. The extender alone cost more than 125.00. When picking up my jewelry I asked if his work, et. was warranty and he replied it was. I didn't wear my jewelry out of the store I didn't put my necklace on until going to my uncle's celebration of life ceremony. I walked out of the shower and it fell to the floor. I looked at it and saw the spring clasp was missing. I took it back to the store the owner said yes the spring clasp is gone and proceeded to quote me 75.00 for repair. I was shocked and reminded him that he told me his work was under warrant. He chuckled and told me his work was under warranty as long as it's in his store and the minute I leave with it, it's no longer under warranty since he's not responsible for the merchandise in my possession. I told him that didn't make sense and 99.9% of jewelry, merchandise, stuff have some type of warranty and based on what he saying now, he intentionally misled and lied to me.
