Great class. Done at the Doctor's Office. Covered all bases. Lots of practical points and demonstration.

I recently took my BLS, ACLS & PALS with this facility. My friend recommended them to me and they…read moregive the best rate compared to most places in the Valley. So if you schedule your ACLS & PALS with them at the same time, you get your BLS for free which I think is an amazing deal! They also provide you with the latest books if you don't have them. Our instructor for our PALS class was Michael and he did such an amazing job simplifying everything and making a very long class interesting and easy to remember. He was also very approachable and made use of our time wisely! Kids are not my strong suit but he made me want to work with kids after the class was over. Haha. I retained more information taking this class over any other PALS class I've done in the past. Highly recommend taking his class! On the contrary, our instructor for our ACLS class was all over the place. I don't remember her name but she was a total opposite of Michael. It just felt so disorganized and confusing at times. I still understood everything bc I've taken ACLS a handful of times prior but I can tell that those who were taking it for the first time all looked lost and confused.

It use to be in person with an instructor who was off script a bit, but brought humor and stole a few hours of my time. Now the facilitation of the CPR class in current day is in my opinion improved in that it is taught from a digital instructor/video and took less than an hour of my time. For people like me who are just needing to brush-up on skills I already know, this is perfect. If you have never taken a CPR class before, it might seem a little strange and you might seek out a class taught with an actual human in front of you. Just understand what you may or may not be getting as to instructors/instruction and book what you might be most comfortable with. Although at the end of the class, there is an opportunity to ask a question to a human, you go the entire class working with others n the class and being watched over cameras but not by an actual human. Again, for a refresh, this works well for me. Efficient, checks the box of my refresh and relatively fast. CPR Society is easy to book classes on-line, electronically driven with manuals on-line and easy to complete with lots of time slots to make to make an appointment work around your schedule.

I joined a first time moms course with other moms who all had babies born the same month as mine. I was really nervous to go at first, but it truly changed my life. The first time moms course is a once a week class for six weeks, and each week covers different topics like postpartum depression, newborn sleep, pelvic floor therapy, and so much more. My class had around 10 to 12 other moms, and it was such a special experience bonding with them. Every class helped ease my anxiety and made me feel seen and understood as a new mom. The instructor and moms all sit together in a circle and openly share experiences, advice, struggles, and encouragement throughout each class. I loved the newborn course so much that I signed up for the infant series and rising toddler classes too! I've become genuine friends with many of the moms, and a lot of us now go out for lunch, coffee, or drinks together a few times a month. Who knew having a baby would lead me to meeting some lifelong friends? New Mom School truly changed my life for the better, and I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're pregnant, a first time mom, or have multiple kids, there's a class for you. Trust me, you'll be so glad you joined.

I hate writing bad reviews, I really do. But there's nothing worse than feeling like you got duped…read more When scheduling a course with Amiko, I thought I made it clear that I needed CPR certifications and that's what I would be paying for. First of all, she only accepts payment through PayPal and requires payment in full in advance. Now I know it's because you can't refute a payment that has already been cleared on PayPal. Secondly, she arrived 45 minutes late to my house to teach the 8 of us that had been on time and waiting for her to show up. When she finally arrives she's in a tight dress and leather jacket, to teach a hands-on class that needs to be taught on the floor... Seriously? Most importantly, The American Heart Association is who she is claiming to be affiliated with, but they don't even have her name on record. This confirms that she is falsely certifying people and giving them an invalid certification card, while fraudulently taking their money in exchange. To top it off, her accent is so thick that no one could understand her (or her jokes). There was no written test at the end, and the website's phone number is just her cell phone, not an office.
