Chris Santillan is very organized and prepares all the students for the certification. He guides and assists with everything you need; during school, before your exams and after your boards. He maintains a high quality staff and positive atmosphere to learn. Mr. Chris G, is very knowledgeable and keeps class entertaining. He informs you of what is important to know and has a great way of making this memorable. Great positive attitude and willing to teach those who want to learn. He will guide and assist you through your lectures and exams. If he doesn't know an answer he will find it and get back to you. I completed this CNA program and was able to successfully obtain my certification, which was my main goal. However, my overall experience was disappointing. There were clear signs of favoritism throughout the program, which made the learning environment feel inconsistent and, at times, unfair. In addition, my lab instructor often seemed disengaged and dismissive, which made it difficult to ask questions or feel supported during hands-on training. A lot of my success came from studying and practicing independently outside of class. While the program does provide the basic requirements needed to pass the state exam, I believe there is significant room for improvement in terms of instruction, professionalism, and student support. If you are self-motivated, you can still succeed and obtain your CNA license--but be prepared to rely heavily on your own effort. read more

When choosing a school I looked through reviews first and definitely went with the best! St. Therese CNA program is very fast and a lot of information and hands on is given inside of the 6 weeks. The instructors and school is committed to making sure everyone in the school has the opportunity to pass and be successful. Instructors make sure you understand and have the availability to practice after hours for anyone that needs the extra time or tutoring. This is not a program for the person that has no time to study, there is a lot of information and studying inside of those 6 weeks. Definitely a very intense program. I took this course; a six week program, and the instructors are amazing . Ms Claudette is super informative during lab and will help you a lot if you ask or not. If you're lucky to get Ms. Izel, you will love her. Hilarious, makes class not boring, and she goes deep into nursing so we can be a helpful CNA to the nurses and understand how the body works well enough to catch warning signs of any possible conditions. Also Chris is kind and helpful, he allows you to come in early to practice even though he does not have to and will answer all and any questions you may or may not have. So I was a little skeptical at first because this was a small school, but boy was I wrong. Because it was small there was open communication and it felt almost one on one. The instructors were by far the best I ever had. I'm so thankful for Mrs. Debbie, Mrs. Claudette and Mr. Chris. They are the best team anyone can ask for if they want to succeed. I can't even compare it to the other ones. This is an excellent school to attend. The owners the instructors are excellent. The instructor trainers make everything very clear as to how to be successful to be certified. They emphasize studying hard, reviewing your test and working together as a team. The skills lab was open to the students to practice For several days which was very helpful to pass our skills exam. I have nothing negative to say about the school. It is a six week course but you must be focused and study and you will also be successful.
