I am super thankful that with COVID, I was still able to be scheduled in to take my ACLS BLS course, especially it being so last minute. I got my cards too which is awesome because in some places, it takes a while to receive the cards. I enjoyed the class very much. Victoria was my instructor and you can tell she loves what she does. The class was engaging, fun and educational. I felt like rhythms were definitely a weakness of mine and she helped me a lot. She has interesting stories for rhythms that I know for sure I will not forget which will help me recognize some rhythms better. I felt like medications during codes would be tricky too but she simplified it and that helped me. I definitely recommend others to take the classes. This place will be my new go-to. Makes me look forward to renewing my certifications. Thanks again!

Frank is so professional, he so patient and good. He answered all our questions. We practice CPR on maniquíes and he help us to perfection the skills.

Nice classroom! It was cold and I loved it.

It use to be in person with an instructor who was off script a bit, but brought humor and stole a few hours of my time. Now the facilitation of the CPR class in current day is in my opinion improved in that it is taught from a digital instructor/video and took less than an hour of my time. For people like me who are just needing to brush-up on skills I already know, this is perfect. If you have never taken a CPR class before, it might seem a little strange and you might seek out a class taught with an actual human in front of you. Just understand what you may or may not be getting as to instructors/instruction and book what you might be most comfortable with. Although at the end of the class, there is an opportunity to ask a question to a human, you go the entire class working with others n the class and being watched over cameras but not by an actual human. Again, for a refresh, this works well for me. Efficient, checks the box of my refresh and relatively fast. CPR Society is easy to book classes on-line, electronically driven with manuals on-line and easy to complete with lots of time slots to make to make an appointment work around your schedule.

I hate writing bad reviews, I really do. But there's nothing worse than feeling like you got duped…read more When scheduling a course with Amiko, I thought I made it clear that I needed CPR certifications and that's what I would be paying for. First of all, she only accepts payment through PayPal and requires payment in full in advance. Now I know it's because you can't refute a payment that has already been cleared on PayPal. Secondly, she arrived 45 minutes late to my house to teach the 8 of us that had been on time and waiting for her to show up. When she finally arrives she's in a tight dress and leather jacket, to teach a hands-on class that needs to be taught on the floor... Seriously? Most importantly, The American Heart Association is who she is claiming to be affiliated with, but they don't even have her name on record. This confirms that she is falsely certifying people and giving them an invalid certification card, while fraudulently taking their money in exchange. To top it off, her accent is so thick that no one could understand her (or her jokes). There was no written test at the end, and the website's phone number is just her cell phone, not an office.

Not the best company! Find another program if you can!…read more The space they use to teach the class barely has enough room to practice CPR. It's basically a room meant for business meetings with a big conference table, and you just work with the mannequins in the corner. It's in an older office building with barely functional AC and other business suites that share the same entrance. There's hidden fees like the AHA BLS Manual that's not included in the class fee, which they don't really disclose is "mandatory" to attend class per the AHA until after you already register for the class. You can get it online or a print version. It may or may not be enforced that you actually have the manual in hand however. They also rescheduled my class, which seems to happen a lot based on other reviews which is very inconvenient and unreliable. I kept receiving reminders for my original class time, so I called to confirm my actual time and they were kind of rude on the phone. My instructor was great though, and kept the class short and sweet.

Please, bring your dentures when you're teaching a class! Then she puts the video on a phone for us to watch. What..?!? Why are we even here in-person just to do everything on our phone. For something as important as CPR, honestly all of this is unacceptable and made it difficult to follow or be ready for the test. The whole class felt disorganized and unprofessional, with a lot of off-topic talking instead of actually teaching. Even other students were saying this wasn't what a CPR class should be. On top of that, some of the information didn't seem accurate, which is concerning. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
