The Respiratory Therapy program is especially disappointing and clearly in need of major restructuring Many instructors are disengaged, unapproachable, and outright rude to students including Concerns are routinely ignored, communication is poor, and leadership is essentially absent. A large portion of staff seem disconnected from both students Multiple clinical sites have openly expressed negative experiences with this school and its faculty staff and embarrassing reflection of how the program is run. For the cost of tuition, the facilities are unacceptable. The building is small, outdated, and not remotely worth what students are paying. Students feel unsupported, unheard, and misled about what this program actually offers. There is a widespread lack of professionalism, and serious rumors about inappropriate behavior circulate due to the absence of transparency and accountability

Now, my son is starting his adventure at CSN for his two year in Computer Science with a focus on cybersecurity network engineering, and then transferring over to UNLV. The Charleston Campus is our primary location that I used to go to, and now my son goes to. He recently had to take a multiple exams to get his Microsoft certification in Office applications. All exams were provided at the Charleston College of Southern Nevada. College of Southern Nevada operates multiple campuses including Charleston, Cheyenne, Henderson, and North Las Vegas. There are several learning centers as well. CSN offers a wide range of academics and career focused programs including associate degrees, certificates, and multi pathways for transfer to four year universities. Some of their studies include business, health sciences, information technology, engineering, education, and the arts. I really enjoyed my time at CSN! My son is as well. The teachers and the community are fantastic. There are flexible learning options including online and evening classes. If you're looking to start your educational journey, I'd highly recommend CSN as a place to go to if you're local in Las Vegas!

Their so Rude, acting like their doing me a favor is wrong!!! Half of their employees don't even know what they are doing there is why they hire new staff all the damn time!! I've been going to my doctor for years and I'm so done because of their staff and having a little twit bit getting into my face is wrong! Especially when they never get back of returning calls, or you have waited all damn day for a response. Im sick of them telling me go get a covid test too or have you been tested when your illness has nothing to do with covid and it pisses me off!! It's None of their damn business anyway. Going back with a doctor in private practice near me so I don't have to jump through hoops to see my doctor!! totally done with theses people!

I can hear the staff talking on the phone about patients and their STD's, they made me pee in a cup and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting and the worst part was the doctor I was sent to see. Dr. Desai from the moment I came in was determined to disprove my pain. Instead of looking at a patient who's been complaining about pain for over two years she would constantly tell me, "you shouldn't be in pain." She preformed surgery on me after I asked if my pain could be due to endometriosis and the moment I woke up from surgery, before I could even see all I hear is her saying, "Welp it's not endometriosis so I don't know why you're in pain." I had my follow up with her and even then she was discrediting my pain and her bedside manner is trash. She spoke to me like I attended medical school and was very condescending. She had scheduled me for another surgery but I found another surgeon and canceled with her. I wasn't looking for sympathy I was looking for help from a professional because I've been in pain for over two years and she did nothing but add further frustration to an already frustrating situation. 0 out of 5 stars Would not recommend

I think UNLV is doing a lot of interesting and positive work. The school has a capable and…read morededicated faculty and staff which shines through time after time. I think UNLV will continue to ascend as a respected university. One big detraction is the airplane noise, especially the overnight take offs and landings. It is hard to get 8 hours sleep no matter when you go to bed. There are loud takeoffs and landings from 11:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and then again starting around 5:30 a.m., with nonstop takeoffs from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. The UNLV Administration should ask the FAA and LAS to restrict use of the North runway during sleeping hours. The planes should use the main East/West runways which are mostly over industrial areas during this time. Being jarred awake on campus by airplanes during sleeping hours is a deal breaker for many people. Its one thing to tolerate it during the daytime, but when it interferes with sleeping, its not something that many can adapt to. The school should tape the airplane noise during these overnight hours and present this to the FAA and Clark County Commissioners, if necessary. Let the decibels and times of day speak for themselves. Interrupting the sleep of thousands of residents for the sake of cutting a few minutes of flight time is not a fair tradeoff.

We especially loved the library and the book store. (The walk from the strip wasn't terrible either... area between strip and here is a bit sketch though). Unfortunately, the UNLV degree he graduated with is not being used... not saying college isn't worthwhile, but perhaps a little more guidance would have been helpful. (Not like I can say anything, I have a useless Bachelor's degree as well.) I wish I could add more but my husband really loved his experience here at UNLV.
