If instructions were properly given, with adequate detail, guidelines, examples, return of tests, then maybe this school would be great. Now, my son is starting his adventure at CSN for his two year in Computer Science with a focus on cybersecurity network engineering, and then transferring over to UNLV. The Charleston Campus is our primary location that I used to go to, and now my son goes to. He recently had to take a multiple exams to get his Microsoft certification in Office applications. All exams were provided at the Charleston College of Southern Nevada. College of Southern Nevada operates multiple campuses including Charleston, Cheyenne, Henderson, and North Las Vegas. There are several learning centers as well. CSN offers a wide range of academics and career focused programs including associate degrees, certificates, and multi pathways for transfer to four year universities. Some of their studies include business, health sciences, information technology, engineering, education, and the arts. I really enjoyed my time at CSN! My son is as well. The teachers and the community are fantastic. There are flexible learning options including online and evening classes. If you're looking to start your educational journey, I'd highly recommend CSN as a place to go to if you're local in Las Vegas!

I can hear the staff talking on the phone about patients and their STD's, they made me pee in a cup and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting and the worst part was the doctor I was sent to see. Dr. Desai from the moment I came in was determined to disprove my pain. Instead of looking at a patient who's been complaining about pain for over two years she would constantly tell me, "you shouldn't be in pain." She preformed surgery on me after I asked if my pain could be due to endometriosis and the moment I woke up from surgery, before I could even see all I hear is her saying, "Welp it's not endometriosis so I don't know why you're in pain." I had my follow up with her and even then she was discrediting my pain and her bedside manner is trash. She spoke to me like I attended medical school and was very condescending. She had scheduled me for another surgery but I found another surgeon and canceled with her. I wasn't looking for sympathy I was looking for help from a professional because I've been in pain for over two years and she did nothing but add further frustration to an already frustrating situation. 0 out of 5 stars Would not recommend

Let me explain, I am the mother of a 32 year old daughter who has had 22 brain has Cerebral Palsy, right-sided hemiparesis, post CVA and cognitively delayed. The care giver took her for a physical in December. Who ever saw her, noticed the scar tissue on her forearm. The scar tissue is from self-biting which she has done since a toddler due to frustration from limited vocabulary. Yes, occasionally she still bites herself. She uses a walker or wheelchair which at times she loses her balance and falls... causing bruises. I am a retired RN and have cared for my daughter during each brain surgery and rehab which followed. I have always fought for our only child since birth and I will continue to do so. I believe that your school of medicine would benefit having a class or in-service at least in how to deal with the disabled individuals...it's a whole different world trust me. I was a mandated reporter also being a nurse, but I also had common sense and would know the facts before I make the call. Trust me, I would have rather spent the $3500 I had to pay for an attorney for my daughter's needs which is significant. My name is Janelle Folkerts, my daughter is Ashley Folkerts. If you have a full-time job, it honestly feels like you are set up to fail because there is very little flexibility or support. My experience with advising has also been extremely disappointing. Instead of feeling supported or guided, it feels like advisors do not genuinely care about helping students succeed. When issues come up, the blame is placed on the student for "not following up," rather than advisors taking accountability for the lack of communication and guidance. College is already a major investment of time and money, and students should feel like their school wants them to succeed. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. Overall, I feel like I have wasted both my money and my time.

Also the MA training by far the most mediocre training you will ever see. Most of what you learn in independent and the instructor never responds when you need help or have question. Basically you're on your own with roughly 20 assignments and discussions. Almost my entire class had so many complaints about the instructor and how she was so mean and for no reason. The instructor puts an extreme amount of homework on the students and then says "no late work is accepted " as if people don't have lives outside of school..They purposely make people have to retake the modules so they can get paid more money. The people in the office especially financial aid rarely answers or returns calls. They take complete control of your financial aid and you won't know how much aid you were approved for and or if there's excess funds and if the max is being requested etc. Then they put so many transactions on a "breakdown" that's supposed to explain what the charges are etc but it's so much b.s on there you won't even understand and it's never clear. Please save yourself from a headache DON'T DO IT!!!
