Every single teacher she's had has been kind, caring, supportive and made her feel so at home. We love all the teachers and Ms. Monica & Ms. Anita do an amazing job at making the school environment be a safe and joyful one for all the kids. The extra curricular activities are so varied - dance classes, taekwondo and soccer, and my daughter has learnt so much academically. The teachers do a great job of sending photo updates everyday, and host special events like an annual Christmas show and Mother's / Father's Day celebrations. The summer program is so fun for the kids, they bring in awesome activities like petting zoos, reptile shows, hula dancing and water slides. The meal and snacks provided have been huge for our family, they take the pressure off having to prepare lunchboxes, and I always feel good that my kids have been offered a healthy selection of foods at school. We feel so fortunate that we still have another two years at the school with our youngest daughter :) can't recommend highly enough!!

You can get a hold of them any time, day or night, and they are there for you. They use this awesome app that to let us keep track of diaper changes, meals, and daily activities. Safety and security for the kids are the top priority here. They don't let anyone pick up kids unless they are added to the check in app. We have to provide a picture of the person's ID beforehand and they verify the ID in person at the time of pickup. I moved from Los Angeles specifically because my oldest son at the time I felt needed to be in private school; he was getting left behind in public school and he had so much potential. I interviewed with many schools all over Orange County and got a good vibe from McDowell. He started there in 2015 in 4th grade. He LOVED it and thrived there. McDowell gave him a strong foundation and he is about to be a senior at a public high school. He is a straight A student in all IB, AP and honors classes. My twins have now gone there since kindergarten and they are about to start 3rd grade. They actually look forward to school and love all their teachers and the other students! From the extracurriculars, to their main teacher for the year, to the other parents, and the Head of school, Mr. Lincoln, it has been a wonderful and nurturing environment for all my kids.
