Fresh seafood takes a minute to cook, do arrive with time on your hands. We had time today, we didn't mind the wait. When I got my Paradise Punch, that drink is so god darn pretty. I took a sip and I order another one along with Pecan cake and strawberry cake lol. The Paradise Punch was that good! The moment we got home, we immediately dig in lol. Hubby enjoys his Lobster bisque and Colossal Shrimp Platter. He says she got one of the best tasting Lobster Bisque in Philly area. The shrimp platter were tasty as well. Usually steam seafood platters are quite salty, not this one! Pleasure Platters seafood platters are seasoned very well and buttery. I ask for extra butter, but Kendall says to trust her, my platter gonna have too much butter lol. Actually her platter has the right amount of butter for me bc I'm a butter lover lol. I usually order takeout and have never actually sat inside the restaurant. One thing I've tried before is their fried oysters. They were decent, but I felt like they could have been fried a little harder and had a bit more flavor. My go to order is the Seafood Boil Perfect Storm, which comes with 1/2 lb snow crab, 1/2 lb black mussels, and 1/2 lb head-off shrimp. I usually get it with the Ruby Special Blend sauce with hot heat. Most of the time everything is cooked perfectly. One thing I don't love is that some items are add ons. For example, you have to add the sausage separately, which I'm not a fan of because at some other seafood boil places the sausage and other extras already come included with the boil. My son usually orders the hibachi shrimp fried no hibachi combo lo mein. That's his favorite and he really enjoys it. I did taste it and it tastes very fresh and good. Overall though, the food is good and I don't really have complaints. The portions are enough that I usually eat off it for a couple of days, and depending on what I add on I typically spend around $48-$55 more with add ons. Also, the staff has always been nice when I call in orders and when I go to pick up, which I appreciate. I'd love to hear about other people's experiences if you've eaten here.
