I'm on the search for something similar but no luck so far. Besides preserved fruits they have lots of candy kiddies might enjoy. I chose li hing cherry and li hing ginger. I took the half pound ginger to the park today and gave half to my granddaughter. It's delicious. The employee was friendly and told me how long they've been in business.

Perfectly named as there are jars and jars of yummy crack seeds filled with all our favorite cravings right in Pearlridge Center ground level right outside of Macy's though you can't miss this cute vibrant little nook with the classic Icee sign protruding out calling you to this oasis. Besides the usual M&M's you can find lots of asian and local favorite snacks along with drinks and Icee are found here the nostalgia is real here though is a tight navigating between different sections is real I usually get frustrated as folks are literally shopping not moving at all gets me outta here and take as a sign that I didn't need it lol! You can't walk into hygienic without feeling the sense of Aloha. From ethnic foods like pasteles to modern treats like Icees there's something here for everybody. The staff treats everyone with Aloha. Personally, I get Kava here every couple of weeks. Their Kava is the second best I've ever had, and the Fiji variety of Kava is particularly good. I was pleased to learn that they carried Kava, so I don't have to drive to Kalihi to get it, which is a relief because I'm an old fut who does not like driving in to Honolulu. They are just a 5 to 10 minute drive from Haiku Woods, so it's my preferred place to get Kava. If you live here their goods all have local appeal. If you're just visiting Honolulu, Hygienic store is a great place to get the feel of local culture and maybe discover a couple of new favorite foods.

Also for locals heading around the island it's normally a good quick stop to buy ice and load up on your favorite adult beverage. Noms is the vocabulary that we foodies tend to describe and Hawaii Candy Factory has created and kicked up our favorite sweets and put fun local twists on it to make it somehow of their own. You can find them pretty much everywhere here in Hawaii in the local stores and events around town with the staff generously handing out samples of their classics or newest flavor and not sure how but they make it all happen which you know at first bite. We see the pop ups in from of target ala Moana, HGEA fair, and most recently pearlridge mall down town. The special holiday candies are so good..cookie butter, Christmas mix and more. The candies are so unique to Hawaii and just different. We bumped into a Noms kiosk which was so exciting and were able to taste the new cookie butter flavors. The kiosk person was nice. He gave us free samples and saw deals when purchasing multiple bags. Lotsa flavors to choose from. Kiosk may look bare and small but there are so many options and this makes for a good option when thinking of what to send during holiday season. Love the bright lights and simple display.

Most probably already know you park anywhere walk up to the door on the left and right the correct doorbell to be let in...mind you they are usually swamped so escaping to let you in may take a minute or two. You know once you're there as first thing you'll see is a little display fridge filled with various drinks and people patiently waiting to view what's there to offer as they do have an incredible selection of unique international flavors of candies, chocolate and whatever is in the current rage. Do I recommend coming here sure it's all in one place it's just that there aren't any prices at all whatsoever and it's probably best cause you'll just turn around and walk away as it's insanely pricey yes understandable you can't find many of the items here but when some are five times the amount you might think twice about that...though I didn't. Thinking about getting a couple of items one was a KitKat it was in a very cool air condition environment it would be okay...nope! Soon as I got it got in the car opened it and it was all melted and solidified again because it's cool in the unit, and you don't want to know what I paid for it. I fell for the hype and paid for it dearly as it all went in the trash. The space is very limited and it's hard to maneuver yourself and a basket around. I agree with the other customers that come here, there are no prices so there is a high chance of an impulse buy (like myself), but don't worry I spoke with the employee and they have shipments coming in everyday. Popular/viral products like the Spam chips and Black Pink do require one per household. I think they restocked Black pink Oreos so you can take more than one now. Yes, the snacks are pricey, but you have to remember these snacks are being imported from all over the world. Best to keep a receipt to gage how much you're spending for the next visit you come here.

I have a relative that needs to watch her sugar intake and they have excellent no sugar added brownies, cookies and macadamia nut chocolates. For myself, I love everything here but my favorites are the dark and milk chocolate dipped shortbread cookies and macadamia nut chocolates. These are fantastic gifts to buy if visiting the islands. i buy treats from here to bring as gifts when visiting folks outside of Hawaii and often buy them for myself to eat!

Instead of having that soft, fluffy shaved ice texture you expect in Hawaii, it just turned into a watery mess within seconds. For how expensive it was, the quality really did not match the price at all.
