    Rainbow shave ice cream
    Candace F.

Traditional reminiscent of old Hawai'i where we could pick up seed, candies, ice cream and shave ice. The entrance takes you to the left where you see walls packed with gummy candies, preserved plum, lihing mui flavored snacks and so much more. The selections are vast and prices are reasonable. The second aisle ends with an ice cream display filled with an array of flavors and cones. We looked up by the register and excitedly saw shave ice. Out of simplicity with ordered the rainbow ice cream large bowl. It was large! Perfect to share and so generous with the portion size. The syrups were good and the ice cream the perfect end as we dug our way to the bottom! Service was very good and the two ladies helping us were helpful and nice. Will be back again!

Prefect little hometown crack seed store. Everything about it is charming.

Just about all the little kid time goodies I like. Icees are fluffy like the ones back in the back in the day Mr. Young at Kaimuki used to make. Sweet lady working and I hope they remain here a long time.

My wife and I dropped into this little store on a quest. Trying to find dried ginger that doesn't have that after taste from the artificial sweeteners. Some places show sugar as the sweetener, but still have that after taste. The ginger and li hung mui are the two crack seed products we are very peticular about. There seems to be product inconstancy from the mom and pop to the major distributors. The ginger did have that after taste. Li hung mui was good. The lady at the store makes mochi with black bean filling. The filling was good. The mochi was chewy. Stay safe

I like some of their crack seeds. My sister likes it, too. Will go back for more...I just hope they won't run out of one my faves.

They no longer serve shave ice which is a bummer but they have a good selection of ice creams.

This is a kiosk that sells snacks fronting Fun Factory at Windward Mall. They sell popcorn, candy,…read morenuts, etc. The only thing that I bought from here was the Hurricane Popcorn. It wasn't that good. The packaged Hurricane Popcorn in the stores is actually better than this. They pop the popcorn fresh when you order it. However, it lacks flavor. I'm not sure if it's the butter that they're using or the mochi crunch. The prices are outrageous. I bought a large bag for $9.50. I thought the popcorn at the theaters were expensive. I'm doubtful that I'll be returning anytime soon. It's cash only, so make sure you have money on you.

In love with their popcorn!…read more We were actually just kicking back on a table near this kiosk when the shaking of the popcorn bag as well as the smell hypnotized our table and brought us to the line. As I stood in line and continued my gaze on the shaking, my mind landed on a hurricane popcorn mix with lihing mui. When it was finally my turn I felt like a kid in a candy store, watching them ladle in the butter and lihing mui powder, shake, then the furikake, shake, and then the arare. I took the bag of gold back to the table and we all dug in. In minutes it was gone. All we were left with was red fingers and kanak-attack grins. I live in Kahala, but will definitely go over the Pali for more popcorn.

Locally made chocolate!…read more I've seen Manoa Chocolate bars sold in various local grocery stores and shops over the years. My husband and I never had them until we booked a reservation for Manoa Chocolate's factory tour at this location during our local honeymoon six years ago, days before the pandemic started, when the factory tour used to be held here. My husband and I sampled a few chocolate pieces while our tour guide showed us Manoa Chocolate's cacao harvesting and chocolate-making process. We learned that those mainstream confectioners use fillers in their chocolate bars and lists sugar as their first ingredient! Since then, my husband and I have had Manoa Chocolate's monthly subscriptions at least on two different occasions, including today! A monthly subscription costs $25 for 3 bars--1 limited edition bar and 2 bars from their permanent menu; a better deal than buying individual bars! The subscription has better value the longer the subscription is. I love the variety of milk and dark chocolate bars. We've also ordered a bag of cacao brew and have mixed it with freshly ground coffee for a hot brew. If you love getting ice cream from Sage Creamery, their chocolate ice creams are made with Manoa Chocolate!
