Stopped here on my way back to Indy. The place was packed on a Sunday night due to a craft show nearby. The food was very good. I had not been to a Cracker Barrel in a while because I felt the quality had fallen off but this one seemed to be on top of their game. The Sunday special was a boneless fried chicken breast which was the best I think I've ever had. Very well cooked with great flavor. Our waitress was also very nice and friendly. My mother and I had a great experience at this Cracker Barrel. We often visit Cracker Barrels while traveling from state to state. We enjoyed breakfast this time and was happy with our meals. After paying our breakfast bill, we were informed that an 80% off clearance area was full of goodies. I found several Ohio state tee shirts for $5- $7 each. While in Ohio visiting my family, we decided to get lunch with all my aunts, uncles and cousins there. I hadn't been to a Cracker Barrel in ages, and my husband never had. I was pleasantly surprised how great everything was. The service was super fast, especially considering how crowded it was and how large a group we were. The food was great (I had the chicken dinner) but for me, the best part of my meal was their lemonade. Amazing, reminded me how my great aunt used to make it. So delicious. The waiters sang happy birthday to my husband, cousin and uncle (who have birthdays close together) and the sundae they gave them was great, and yes I did steal my husbands birthday sundae! The waitresses we had were sweet and really friendly. Another plus. Also love the little shop in front. All in all, a great place to get a good meal at a good price! read more

This Cracker Barrel had the BEST service I have ever experienced at a Cracker Barrel. Two minute wait time to get our food. I will definitely be visiting this location again. Definitely recommend!!!!!! Amazing atmosphere, too. read more

Looking for a fake/ touristy looking country store? Then Cracker Barrel is the place. Many high priced novelty gifts and candy. Food was nothing special. My food came with two eggs. I ordered them over easy. When my food arrived, I was missing one egg. I know counting to two can be hard and all. I also only had one orange slice on my plate when others in my party had two. The waitress brought me out the other egg. Both were cold and rubbery. The french toast was lukewarm. The side dishes are not served on the plate. Each comes on it's own small late or bowl. It took us a couple of minutes to realize that not only was I missing one egg, but my son was missing grits & apples, and my husband was missing his "hash brown pie." The grits had a strange layer on top. I didn't try them, but everyone else in our party did. They were declared bland and gross. My husband's medium steak was beyond well done. a friend of ours said her bacon tasted like fish. She hates fish. The pancakes were deemed the "best" of what we ordered. read more

My parents and my family went to the Harrison, Oh location for dinner. Upon arrival we circles the lot 2x looking for handicap parking. The handicap spots out in front of the door have clearly been replaced with curbside pick up! This is completely unacceptable for those needing handicapped parking! Once parked, my father went and put our name in as a pty of 6 when we first arrived. We were told 20 min wait. After sitting outside and talking, we realized it had been 30 min, so I went to check. I was told there was 1 family ahead of us. Just then, this family was called. This family of 5 came in AFTER us, yet they were seated before us! My father is a Vietnam veteran and deserves a hell of a lot better treatment than having to park in the outer parking spots or being skipped over for another family! When I went back to the hostess and informed her of this situation, she told me it was going to be another 20 min and she didn't know what else to say! This is beyond rude and ridiculous. The general lack of customer service we have received the last few visits has held us off. But this was the final straw. We will not return to this location! read more

It's a Cracker Barrel. Bland food targeted at older clientele. Pancakes have a "skin" to them and are less fluffy than traditional ones found elsewhere or at home. Hash brown casserole is literally half onion, should call it onion and cheese casserole honestly. Bacon and biscuits are usually pretty good. Worst Cracker Barrel I have ever been to. Fish tasted as if it had been fried in old grease and corn muffins were stale. Waitress was friendly but preoccupied because her husband and kids were at the table behind us. A different waitress brought the food to the table and she had everything mixed up as to who had what. read more

It wasnt the food that was the issue, it was getting someone to wait on us. We went it later in the evening to get something to eat. The waitress was cleaning up her area when we were seated. we set there for a good 15-18 minutes and then i asked the lady can we at least place our drink order. She seemed amazed that we were not waited on yet. Then the manager came out and apologized. Then I got totally offended when the token gay person came out to our table. I guess the manager was thinking that we thought, we didn't get waited on because we were gay. That wasn't never the topic of conversation or brought up. So needless to say now we have to drive from Bridgetown to tri-county or mason to eat at Cracker Barrel. read more

Giving this Cracker Barrel 1 star is being generous. Yesterday, my parents, husband, our son and I went for breakfast/lunch. We were seated in a timely manner which was probably the only good thing I have to say. When our waitress came over to take our order my husband got chocolate milk for him and our son- they were completely out. Ok whatever. She comes back with our drinks about fifteen minutes later and to take our order. My dad got a meal that came with French toast and strawberry toppings. Sounds delicious right? Well my husband got their "mama's French toast" which plainly states on the menu "with a topping of your choice". He asked for strawberries and was told that they were out of strawberries and that he could choose something else. He decided on just syrup because he was just baffled at the fact that my dad just ordered something with strawberries and wasn't told the same thing. I ordered a bowl of fruit for our son (he is 1). When the waitress came back to check on us, after another 20 minutes, I had asked her why the table behind us had just got served an enormous amount of strawberries and why my husband was denied them. Her response was "I can't give him strawberries because we serve it as a topping". WHAT? I literally said "if you say so" and she left. She came back with our food with strawberries for my dads meal and my husbands. My sons fruit bowl had 5 pieces of fruit in it. 2 pineapple pieces and 3 blueberries. For $3??? What the heck! So we keep our mouths shut because this waitress was obviously hating her life at that point and did not want to be there. But then the manager came over. And said he "cleared" the request for the strawberries to be used on my husbands meal and my dad explained how it just made no sense on the menu. I explained the server could've been a little nicer and more through with her answer to the original question. He started to walk away and my dad had said to us "I just don't understand it but oh well". The manager then turned around and said, I kid you not, "sir did you say something to me? You don't need to be smart about it!" My eggs were cold and disgusting and my dad only received HALF of his meal before asking where the other half was ten minutes after she came back.
