McAlister's Deli opened in 1989 and now has 400 stores in 28 states. They promote healthy, tasty, choices in a relaxing atmosphere with great sweet tea. Attending Riverfest we we approached by a couple promoting McAlister's and they gave us two passes for two free meals. I reluctantly accepted them thinking there must be something else to this deal. Maybe you receive two free meals after spending $100.00 or something like that. I would later be surprised to find out we received two complete free meals, dessert and great tea for free. I really like the option of two smaller menu choices as I wanted a sandwich and a loaded potato. There are so many different choices to choose from as you will see many one of a kind combinations. The unsweetened tea was amazing and the service was fun and relaxed. The restaurant was immaculate and the restrooms were spotless.

This was a little gem that was hiding in the Crestview Hills center right there in plain sight. They have a huge menu particularly on the sandwich side. Hopefully over the coming years I'll bring you a good bit of their offerings and let's start with the first... Horseradish Roast Beef And Cheddar Mac And Cheese Limeade What Is It: The sandwich comes with black Angus roast beef, sharp cheddar cheese, caramelized onions (which I left off), and of course horseradish. The sandwiches come with a pickle and a side which I got mac and cheese. I got limeade because I wanted limeade. Presentation: Well they went with the smallish items on the huge, square, white plate approach. On one hand it makes things look tiny on the other hand there's plenty of room for everything. Probably better that way. 6 out of 10 Taste/ Final Analysis: The beef was very well flavoured on it's own which is very important. The ciabatta bread worked well for this as did the delicious sharp cheddar cheese. I wish they would have put more horseradish on it although I acknowledge that may be my crazy, slicy taste buds talking. Still considering they titled the sandwich after horseradish I think they were very light handed with it. The mac and cheese was pretty stock and boring as was the limeade. The sandwich I ate and huge menu are definitely enough to draw me back although if you're like me and you get this sandwich get some extra horseradish. Thumbs mostly up here.

They're always nice when I order or pickup. Even when I door dash they're quite nice. The food is delicious and worth the price. It's not super expensive either, you pay a fair amount of money for great food. It's a cute place and would be wonderful to have family time, friends hanging out, or even a date. I got a grilled chicken Caesar salad today, which is my usual, and it's always great.

Visited this store after their team provided a vip pass at a local festival. That was the first great touch point they made with us. So when we tried this store we did not know what to expect. What we found was excellence from the customer service at the register to the delicious food. Highly, highly recommend! Thank you to McAlister's for the first meal. We will be back!

    Those are not grilled onions!

Ugh. Tried to give McAllisters another chance. Put in a carry out order of the horseradish cheddar roast beef sandwich. Got home and started to eat it and found it full of raw sliced red onions! What??? It clearly states on the menu the onions are GRILLED. I've had issues the past three times I've been there with food being prepared incorrectly and with lousy customer service. I sure hope they get things turned around, as it has been our go to restaurant for years. Management: please step it up and read these reviews!

This is a pretty nice McAlister's location. It's pretty clean for the most part. Only thing that was a little weird is that they seemed a little understaffed for lunch time because they only had one register open and the lady running it seemed to be doing a lot of other stuff. The food was good (although the soup could have been hotter but I ate it first)! Chef salad was really yummy!

Hey, get you some iced tea. It is pretty darn good. I had the Ruben and had to share it. Their baked potato was as big as the plate. Pretty good food. This is not a sit down and get waited on place. You place your order at the counter, get a number and have a seat. Quick and very friendly.

The first thing I look for is a nice patio. Unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperating today, but I will be back for this fabulous patio. I was there before the dinner rush, which explains the emptiness of the restaurant. More people started arriving after 5:00. There were so many yummy sounding choices on the menu that it was hard to decide. I asked my server, Erin, what she recommends and she said the CAJUN BOURBON FILET TIPS were her favorite. I went with that and was not disappointed. The filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It is served over mashed potatoes and topped with onion straws. While the beef portion was small, it was a satisfying meal and the flavors were perfection! I added a side Caesar salad. Their house-made croutons were so good and the dressing was tasty and perfectly portioned. I don't often order dessert, but decided to splurge tonight and got a slice of the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake to-go. OMG, this is one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. It was light and dense at the same time, if that makes sense. So creamy and melt in your mouth delicious. I will dream about it tonight LOL.

The place is comfortable; the tables are nicely spaced. Though it's a bar and grill, it has the feel of a restaurant. The menu is huge; so many options! I decided what I wanted, but kept looking at the menu. I considered changing my mind several times, but stuck with my original choice - SAIGON SALAD - arcadian greens / red and green onions / almonds / rice noodles / grilled chicken / soy ginger vinaigrette. The salad had a nice mix of greens. The chicken had an honest to goodness grilled flavor. It was the perfect size and seemed like a light option. It was delicious and I left feeling perfectly satisfied. Mark had CAJUN CREAM PASTA - grilled chicken breast / artichokes / black olives / tomatoes / spicy cream sauce/ penne. I failed miserably taking a picture, but I can tell you Mark raved about it. He also agreed the chicken had a great grilled flavor. He said the sauce, not too spicy at all, was delicious. He ate every bite. Three people had SALMON SLIDERS - grilled salmon / arcadian greens / tomato / remolaude / slider buns / chips. Everyone enjoyed them, though one mentioned the salmon had a habit of exiting the bun. Someone had a burger and another had NASHVILLE HOT CHICKEN WRAP - fried chicken / cayenne chili oil / honey / shredded cabbage / cheddar / pickles/ chips. He said it was quite good and rather spicy. Everyone was happy with their meal. With so many other options on the menu, we could come back and easily all order something different.

Instead, I got something shocking... Actual great pizza!!! The wood-fired crust comes out blistered and charred just enough to whisper, "I went to Italy for a semester and didn't come back with a man bun." It's crispy outside, chewy inside ... the kind of texture that makes you forget every sad, floppy chain pizza you've ever eaten in a strip mall next to a vape store. The toppings? Legit. We're talking San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, hot honey, and fancy meats that sound like they have their own passport. And here's the real shocker: It's not pretentious. Nobody lectures you about "mouthfeel." Nobody asks if you want your pizza "deconstructed." Nobody serves it on a wooden plank shaped like Vermont. It's just seriously good pizza ... the kind that makes you say, "Wow, maybe civilization isn't collapsing after all." And the wood-fired flavor? Smoky, slightly charred, and rich...like it was baked by a Tuscan grandmother who also owns a flamethrower. The owner just showed me their home made pasta dish for the Friday in Lent. Looks amazing!! It is the quintessential neighborhood "watering hole"--a place where the greeting is as warm as the grease on the flat-top. Stepping into PeeWee's feels like entering a living room that just happens to have a full bar and a sand volleyball court out back. My wife and I stopped in here on our way back home. It was lunch time, and the place was crowded. We started off with a Taco Salad with some wings on the side. The Taco Salad brings together your choice of beef or chicken, fresh veggies, jalapeños, and crispy tortilla chips! Our entrée was the PeeWee cheeseburger with Saratoga chips! The cheeseburger is nothing short of a masterclass in the classic American style. It's juicy, well-seasoned, and mercifully devoid of artisanal pretense.
