I had breakfast at Cracker Barrel today, and it was delicious. I felt it was important to write this review because my last experience here wasn't great--they earned a 3‑star rating then. This visit, however, was a solid 5 stars, especially for the service. They've added the option to include an espresso shot in your coffee, which was a nice improvement since I previously found the coffee a bit weak. I ordered the Grandma's Breakfast--eggs, country ham, potatoes, and of course pancakes--and I ate everything except one pancake. The manager even stopped by our table to check on the service, and I was happy to tell her it was excellent. Major improvement--please keep this up! read more

Cracker Barrel has always been good in my book. It does not change now. We had to wait a little before someone came up to us at the podium but we were immediately sat afterwards. The waitress was okay due to having to service 5 or so tables. We both normally have Grandmas sampler. One with pancakes and all sausage. The other with French toast and all bacon. But I decided to try Grandpa's country friend breakfast. It was delicious. We absolutely love the hash brown casserole. You cannot go wrong with it. This is our go to breakfast/brunch and there's no need to change it now. read more

Our disappointment regarding the service and food quality with my party of six, experienced at cracker barrel at the McDonough Georgia location. Despite a 30-minute wait our group was split between two tables on opposite sides of the restaurant. We observe that the staff continued to sit parties of one and two rather than holding a small table to combine with an available table of four to accommodate us. Once seated The service was unprofessional. The manager appeared frustrated when we were not ready to order drinks immediately upon sitting down. When the waitress came she served the coffee, water and lemonade harshly, when I order my drink she informed me that my juice would not be brought out until the food was ready. To make matters worse the pancakes were dry and my mother-in-law had a hard time cutting them with a butter knife, the bacon and sausages were overcooked and burned. Our two other family members did not have the same rude experience we endured. Finally when the bill was presented the server waved it in my face. Due to this rude behavior and overall this disastrous experience, a tip was not deserving. Cracker barrel is a well-known restaurant but I will not be going back there again. read more

Our waitress at this particular location was Yasmin D. The service was exceptional and she was pleasant, friendly, professional, and attentive the entire time. Due to her customer service and knowing the menu so well, she was a great help with our menu selections. It was also obvious that she provided the same service to other tables in our vicinity. I got her attention and we both noted that we have been waiting 30 minutes for dinner to come. When it did, components were missing and items not asked for were on plates / baskets. Cracker Barrel Never Fails! Every day is a great day for some Cracker Barrel! Give me all the pancakes with crispy edges! I love coming here--the staff is always friendly, and I can usually walk right in and get a table unless its Sunday after church; then "may the odds be ever in your favor." I love the store that's attached they have some really great deals so check it out the next time you go. Also this location has mimosas!! I will try them next time. I wasn't able to try them this time because I was going to work soo bummer! lol but i will try the mimosas on my next time visiting. The bathrooms were clean and the space was organized. Today, I indulged in the Mama's Pancake Breakfast and a mocha latte. Both are my go-to favorites, and they never disappoint. Placed and order by phone today for pickup. Was having difficulty hearing the person on the phone . There was lots of background noise like they were in the kitchen. I gave them my name and spelled it but it was entered incorrectly. The cashier had to look up the order by what was ordered. The order was not ready. Was told 15 to 20 minutes but it was 30 minutes at the point. Was also told the Campfire chicken was chicken only which was not correct. Today my husband and I visited this McDonough , ga location for my birthday lunch. Not only were they slammed with a tour bus that came in. We only had to wait about 15 mins. This was the WORST Cracker Barrel I've ever been to. It took forever to be noticed once seated. Then when we finally got our food, the order was incorrect. Once seated we ordered country fried steak and veggie plate ( veggies were carrots , okra , green bean , baked pot, pinto beans salad with ranch , mash pot ) The carrot , okra, & baked pot was good Pinto beans were bad I ally raw n dried , salad the ranch was bad ( didn't know till I poured it on my salad ) the green beans had vinegar/ sour taste to it .
