The staff was thorough and impressively fluid today keeping things moving. Depending on the time of day you'll be handed the lunch & dinner menu which has a limited breakfast section. However, you can always request the full breakfast menu. I love getting the country boy breakfast which has three eggs, choice of sirloin tips or ham, biscuits with sawmill gravy and two breakfast sides. A decent price for the Country Boy Breakfast. The white cheddar bites and fried pickles were really good as well. Even the checkout experience went smoothly with friendly staff. We went to Cracker Barrel for lunch. I got the Breakfast Burger which had their hash brown casserole and a sunny side egg on it. The burger pattie itself was a little tough but the egg and bun helped make it good. Their steak fries were delicious. Our white cheddar cheese curds and fried pickles were delicious. The wait time was ridiculous and yes I understand it was Easter Sunday. It was over a forty minute wait for a 5 top. The decor was changed from the old style to new morden due to a fire a few years ago. The food was palatable at best. I had the ground steak meal with the gravy and loaded potato with steamed broccoli. On July 24 I took my mom to Cracker Barrell. Food was fine. When I got my credit card bill I noticed I had a duplicate charge of $51.17 for the same day. On August 4 I stopped in Cracker Barrell with my bill to request a correction to my credit card. The cashier referred me to another cashier who was in charge. I asked to speak to a manager as they could not help. I waited for ten minutes. The cashier came back and wrote a number on my bill to call an 800 number customer service. No one apologized. I called the 800 number. You don't get to talk to anybody. I got on the site and explained the problem. I received a ticket number and no response. This pains me to write this as I have a soft spot for CB. A lot of memories and friends are tied to this place. That fire I think was an excuse to push this soulless, dentists office remodel. It's quite ugly now and doesn't feel cozy. I'm not sure who they are trying to appeal to, but it's not working. That aside the menu, holy crap they massacred it. So much of it isn't available until the weekend. Who thought this was a good idea??? So many missing menu items and they have the nerve to creep the prices up. Our last visit was disappointing to say the least. The gift shop even got redo, people were so confused as to where to stand to check out. Why you ask is the score so low.. we enjoy going to the Cracker Barrel This week we visited the restaurant on 6940 Sunset Strip Ave. in North Canton. Whenever our party arrived and was seated it's so cold in the restaurant, that my cousin had to buy a coat off of one of their sales racks to stave off the cold. When the meals came, she had to send her pinto beans back to be warmed up. I had carrots with my catfish and the carrots were cold. This is the second time in two weeks we've gone in and I've been so cold. We couldn't stand sitting there and we almost got up and walked out. It's ridiculous to go into a place to eat and not be able to eat because your teeth are chattering. We gave them two tries in two weeks and nothing has changed. It's cold every time you go in there so I'm not gonna give them three strikes and you're out we're done with that because nothing changes. 3-23-25 I was 1 hour trying to place my order, call center could not submit a baked potatoe with no sour cream or sour cream on the side. finally an operator sent my call to the store, they never answered, tried call center again and placed the order with no sour cream. Long wait for food on a Monday evening in a 2/3rds empty restaurant. Inattentive waitress. I was left alone picking over two small biscuits. I found out later that the kitchen was short-staffed. Went to dinner at Cracker Barrel with my family. Was seated and our drink order was taken. Drinks arrived in a timely manner and then our food order was taken. When food arrived the waitress started to set food down when she got to the grilled chicken tenders she went to set them down as we all noticed that the were completely burnt and asked are these okay as she set them down, knowing that they were not. Second thing she sat down was the biscuits and gravy which was a small bowl of gravy and 4 biscuits in a basket. No plate to put them on, it was like they wanted you to dunk the biscuits into the gravy. I have never ordered biscuits and gravy and had them served in that way. Five Stars on this Thanksgiving day. The restaurant was packed with people and a waitlist. They were fully staffed, professional and very able to accommodate the holiday crow. I got the turkey special and sugarplum-mimosa, plus a latte with my pumpkin pie. Everything was exceptional (and it's a chain) including the cozy ambiance. Wait staff awesome. Dec.29 2024 canton store: 4 orders,two had hair in the food, Both orders had dippy ''over easy'' eggs they had to bring out another order of eggs twice and were still cooked hard , the toast was burnt and sausage was under cooked and set back, I ordered county steak and dippy eggs ,eggs also cooked hard and the saw mill gravy on the county steak had a large piece of plastic bag in it! I sent it back and did not eat dinner, The menu has been greatly reduced they dont offer jam or jelly and no more free grits, and the portions have been cut in half, the service was good wait time was fast ,Ive supported this place for years because it was amazing value, I wont be back an era is over. read more

This past week end we went for take out. I know they where busy. But the food was so bad. I would have given a 0 if possible We had a sandwich that was cold Pancakes you could have used for a tire. Dinner was great, then I found things in the store that I wanted to buy. After standing in line while the cashier waited for a price, I then get shuffled to another cashier, whom was told I was next. Another customer got in front of me, and she waited on the big fat cow. I put my purchases down on the counter and said "just forget it." She didn't care. My fiancée and I went to Cracker Barrel this morning for lunch! We ordered our favorites and the food was okay but the service wasn't the best. I was served honey that was over a year expired and you could definitely tell, I didn't even finish my food. We told our server so she could throw the bottle away and she said "interesting, well have a good day." She never apologized for serving it to us expired. When we went to checkout the cashiers were talking about another employee and never asked how our meal was I did tell her after I cashed out to to make sure they check the rest of bottles and she questioned how I even knew the honey was expired, since they gave us the bottle it was right on top and was never offered any compensation. Be aware if they're busy (a lot of people) The wait was about an hour, they were particularly busy so we didn't think anything of it. The food was so cold and disgusting after an hour of waiting after we ordered, it was likely sitting in the kitchen when our waitress disappeared and never returned after taking our order. The other waitresses were so busy, it was difficult to get someone to help us out our swap out our entrees. The country fried chicken and gravy was absolutely terrible. It's usually my go-to order, so we have never had issues before at other locations. However it looked like it was made out of meatloaf, and tasted even worse. We eventually were able to get someone for our bill. It took about 30 minutes waiting in line to pay at the checkout area. This was our second time coming to this location, the first time we went they brought out frozen fried pickles straight from the freezer to our table. We understand things happen, hoped for a better experience the second time around. Seems that was unlikely. Kids meal: my child ordered a Mac n cheese with a side of fresh fruit, we were charged the kids meal price and the fruit separate for nearly $5. Totally a $10 meal that should've been $5 for the side included. However, you can't get any managerial help when it's a disaster of employees unguided, overworked, and stressed. The store portion is neat and tidy, they always have wonderful displays with their products in that part of the building. Almost didn't go into the restaurant due to a large banner stating they were open during construction! Construction was to the porch and parking lot and appears to be complete! So, glad we went in! This is not the place for fancy food but if you want good, home cooked styled meals, you found your place. Servers was pleasant, patient and helpful and friendly. Pick your entree and add 3 sides from an extensive list. I chose Chicken fried chicken, a salad, baby carrots and fried apples. Portions seemed slightly smaller than in past years but that's ok with me I was still stuffed! A must order is the fried apples! It's like eating a warm apple pie without the crust! Delicious!! Cracker Barrel is tried and true. While they do a decent job of social distancing in the restaurant, it is still pretty crowded in the store area of the building. The food is always comforting and the portions are heaping. I especially love all the sides. Nothing like their meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. The brand of buckeyes that they sell (Marsha's) beats out all of the other local confectioners. My friends and I had a taste test, and they won hands-down. Our server was a little angry-at-the-world and then aloof this last time we were there, but for the most part, everyone at this location is pretty friendly. So I never thought I would find myself writing a review of Cracker Barrel because I most generally write reviews for places I haven't been. However, the service and attention I received here deserves to be acknowledged. I had to look twice to be sure I was correct and I was. Both the hostess and server are named Michelle. The server was so friendly and at me at a great table. She was personable and actually took time to have a real conversation with me instead of just seating me and walking away. Michelle my server, was personable as well. She made sure I had everything I needed and even though she had other people to wait on was attentive. It is nice to see that good customer service still exists. I came for lunch specifically for the fried chicken. It is well worth it. And there (for me anyway) is more than enough for dinner as well. The best reliable road trip eats around. I like to just order sides. Mashed with gravy, Hashbrown Casserole, Sweet potatoes, Carb heaven. They have great old fashioned entrees as well. Fried Chicken, Chicken and dumplings, (tip: get the biscuits and dip them in dumpling gravy!), Pot roast. You pretty much can't go wrong. We waited one hour for our food and one of the meals was cold. They said that a lot of take out orders came in.

As someone with industry experience both serving and back in the kitchen, the performance of service was nearly nonexistent. Arrived at 7:20, seated at 7:40, food came out at 8:30. The dining room had 3-4 servers among two sections with one large party of maybe 15. So the consistent "thank you for your patience" statements were infuriating. Country fried steak at most takes 10 minutes to prepare, pancakes and basted eggs far less and I'm positive that Cracker Barrel doesn't run their line to make fried apples, gravy or grits to order. The food was cooked well, which tells me the delay was very likely service. Also, when a table needs to go boxes directly after getting their food, probably not best to wrap up the order of a 10 top, adjust blinds and piss around at two tables before you disappear to the back and take another 4 minutes to retrieve to go boxes. Pretty positive it was not your first day on the floor, and the only patience necessary would be for the dragging feet of the front of the house. IF you are not here to provide service, it's time to get out of the service industry because your lack of performance makes the rest of us look bad. Have a great day, thanks for stopping in. Also, as a pregnant woman with two kids in tote, an hour and twenty minutes is more than enough time to have a cohesive meal.
