Great food and atmosphere... our waitress was very attentive to the reserve our table. Price was a little bit above average but affordable. Easy location to find with plenty of parking. The indoor outdoor area is able to accommodate a lot of people depending on the weather. The food and service were great! They accommodated our little Baby Shower (7 adults/4 kids) very last minute in their semi-private dining area which was perfectly located near an outside patio so some of the kids could run outside while the adults watched from inside. They were very attentive and allowed us to do cake and presents. We booked it just about a week in advance so we were soooo pleased with how lucky we got. HIGHLY recommend, great menu. Sat and waited to be seated for 30 mins after being told it was a 5-10 minute wait. There were open tables everywhere but we were told the kitchen was too backed up to seat people. They wouldn't even give us a table to sit and have a beer. We will not be back. read more

I have been back twice since my last review. Service was awesome. We actually had the same server who waited on us the very first time we came in. His name is Randy and does a fantastic job. This time, we had the porky fries (great appetizer to share), the clams (it's an appetizer, but I got it for my entree and it's so good. I'm not even a big clam person), a side of coriander carrots (this was ok, but cooked well), the Cubano (best Cubano I may have ever had with legit bread too) and the bread pudding. Two pieces of bread pudding done at a good texture and ice cream with pieces of bacon over and in it. I don't remember the lighting being so low. I also didn't try the salad so will do that another time, but this experience was very good! read more

It just kills me that my new favorite restaurant is a good 300 miles from home! I come to Spokane Valley at least once every year. My family and I came across this place when looking for new restaurants that'd opened up since the last time we were here and I saw they had on their summer menu Pappardelle and Meatballs. I was SOLD. Okay, so this place is just a little bit out of the way, but it's a beautiful drive getting there. It's surrounded by gorgeous farms/ranches. We got in around 5:45 (score: JUST made happy hour!). There was a sign to seat ourselves so we walked out to the spacious back patio. A gal came by within seconds and took our order. We opted for a glass of wine and well vodka cran (both double to take full advantage of sneaking in during happy hour!) and an order of the fabulous deviled eggs to have while we waited for our to-go order. We also ordered a few orders of the pappardelle and meatballs as well as a caesar salad to go. These deviled eggs were hands down the best I'd ever had. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The flavor was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The truffle provided the right amount of earthiness, while the fried shallot added a lovely bit of sweetness and crunch. Of course, everything is better with bacon, and this was no exception. This is a must-order dish. For the to-go order, the caesar salad was fantastic. The caesar was clearly homemade. It was on the thinner side (which we prefer!) and was so lemony and delicious. The salad itself had an ample amount of crunchy and flavorful croutons mixed in. And, instead of your traditional shaved parmesan, this salad was topped with two parmesan crisps. The toastiness of the crips provided a whole other amazing element to the salad. Again, I was super impressed! As for the meatballs and pappardelle, it was to die for. Though there was quite a kick to them, and I do think I'd enjoy them even more if they toned down the heat just a bit, it was still a great dish overall. The meatballs were juicy, tender, and not overly-dense. The pasta was delicious and there was plenty of yummy sauce (not acidic in the least!). Another winner. If you live near the Valley or are just visiting in town, you NEED to stop in to Craft & Gather! We will definitely be back (with our dogs!) next year! read more

I think this question should of been answered by now or the price reduced due to lacking environment for so many to go orders, since they are cold once they get home. I don't leave reviews very often but this one was deserving. We have eaten at other places in Spokane that seem to have paid reviews or not accurate but this was worth the little drive. Off the beaten path but amazing. Bread pudding was like no other we have ever had. We came in the winter but you can tell it has a great patio. This place is great, from the plentiful parking lot, to the quiet scenic location, to the outdoor patio, to the TVs playing basketball games to the cute simple decor. It was packed on the Saturday night we went, but we were able to be seated right away. I got a lamb burger that was absolutely delicious. I also got the Brussels sprouts appetizer and it was amazing. Husband got a burger which he really enjoyed. The food is cooked very well, they have a nice imaginative menu and we loved the vibe. Definitely will be going back and taking the daughters. read more

I don't know where to even start with this amazing find! The quality in food and service was phenomenal. Judith our server was amazing! Very knowledgeable and friendly went above and beyond expectations. Keith the owner stopped by to check on my husband and I, we had a wonderfully genuine conversation. The chef also stopped by and I could not rave on his food enough! We ordered the Lamb burger and Pork chop. We ravished our meals. I have never like Brussels sprouts and this place made me want more! The chop was by far the most exceptional I've had and my husband raved about his lamb burger and Cesar salad! Got lost in the mountains and came out to find this place down the road. What a life saver! Went inside.. they were pretty close to close at 9pm. Checked out the menu.. Mmm! Ordered a Bacon hamburger, fries and (shredded) Brussels sprouts with a glass of Pinot Noir to keep us going! All the food was so magnificent! The views at sunset were perfection and each bite was to be enjoyed. They have a large outside patio area where you can seat yourself, play games in the grass, meet others and enjoy the warmth of the table fireplaces they had setup. Thank you!! Solid four stars for ambiance, fabulous waitstaff, and good food. We brought the whole family and every one ordered something different and they were all happy with their meal. The shrimp po'boy has a little kick to it and the fries are just the right amount of salty and crispy. The pork with shaved brussel sprouts and bacon was the hit of the night. Meat was delicious and cooked perfectly. The lamb burger was a close second. Very tasty party, cooked just right and on a great bun. Also tried the Lemon Basil Cider which felt more like a cocktail than a hard cider. The Scottish Ale on tap didn't disappoint either. I can't wait for the patio to open. Th space is open and simple in decor but I didn't find it too loud or echoey. I can imagine if the place was packed out that it might get pretty noisy but this isn't exactly an intimate, romantic destination. read more

Would have been happy to wait almost 90 minutes for our food had the temp inside been cooler than the temp outside (95 degrees). Not happy to pay $9 for a 'craft' drink poured only 3/4 full in an old school champagne glass. If you're going to charge $9, at least fill the glass and upgrade your stemware. Frozen/pre-made burger patties were lackluster. As we left, saw one of the kitchen staff walk back from the outside cooler with a box of frozen Tyson chicken. Yuck. For the love of God, if not for your clientele, at least fix the AC for your kitchen staff. So disappointing. read more

Oh my goodness! This place is the BEST! They really worked with my families food allergies, wrote down the allergies, and double checked with the Chef. Everyone was so helpful and very friendly, and nobody got annoyed with our food sensitivities either. Craft and Gather is a hidden gem in an area you would least expect it to be, which only adds to it's awesome food and vibes. Price reasonable for the quality of food we received. Everything tasted fresh and fabulous and knowing that they'll work with our allergies is a WIN, we need more local area restaurants like this. We can't wait to go back! read more

This a very busy place. It is a bit loud. That is as it should be. I ordered the lamb burger. It was very good. I would order it again. It was cooked just right. I was happy to see it was not covered in ketchup. I ordered the green salad with a vinaigrette, just the right choice. A server came quickly. The food was not delayed and was the right temperature. I ordered a glass of wine; the list is short, but good for this style of place. I did not expect a sophisticated wine list. The list was good and the prices were fair. My choice turned out just right. Although my server game by shortly after I got my dish to make sure it was fine, I was then ignored a bit. I would have been thirsty if I was a big water drinker. We were never huge fans of this place before coronavirus, but it has become our go-to for family burger-night take out. The burgers are tasty, well-proportioned, come with excellent fries and are packaged/travel well. My kids are crazy for the cheeseburger and the chicken strips on the kids menu and I think the kids menu is a great deal. I really hope this place survives the pandemic. read more
