Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Brewery Tour Stop #14 (4 of 22 for Washington) Having visited the other location first, we weren't terribly excited about this stop & saved it for last. Imagine our surprise to find this location to be so much more warm & welcoming. Clearly, based on the theme, we are not among the target clientele, yet, you wouldn't know it based on service & customer interactions, many were regulars. Tons of games available & interesting decor. Here, I had a very tasty pineapple Cameo IPA. Being as I'm not usually an IPA fan, I'm not sure if that's a compliment or an insult. Either way, I was happy! The hubs had Cure Dark Wounds, which was also tasty but I liked mine better. We didn't order food but others were recommending selections and there were several pick up orders while we were there, so, probably worth a look. read more

Our second brewery for the day, which unintentionally created a theme of gaming/Dungeons & Dragons breweries. Pretty cool and takes me back to my geeky high school days. This was also brewery #284 for me! Natural 20 has a nice sized taproom with a smallish bar at the front. It was pretty slow when we walked in which was cool for us as we got to chat with the gent working the bar and another guy that was there. I did not do a good job of reviewing each beer I tried because we were talking too much. That said I enjoyed the beers but weirdly I'm going to comment on the food more. SWPFTD ordered a pint while I got a flight. Of the ones I tried I liked Featherfall and Dual Spires the best. We also ordered some lembas bread with bacon and a bratwurst sandwich with bleu cheese, the Dracoliche. Really good! The people were super friendly, the vibe and beers were really good, and the food was solid. Score! Another first time for us (at either location). The gentlemen at the taps were friendly and helpful in describing their beers as well as giving us a few tastes before we made our decisions I tried the Spiced Cranberry Brown and Serious Gourmet Sh!T caramel macchiato white stout. Both what I would call a dessert beer. Not sure I could drink a straight pint, but then imagined it as a beer float. We had the Black 13 Black IPA and the Fierce Delty Red Smash Ale. Both a good drinking beer on this chilly, not quite winter, but it feels like it day. Simple Bar food, but a good selection and super service. Both indoor and patio seating (weather permitting) plenty of parking and easily seem from the street. Stop in on a cloudy day, or any day and give them a try. read more

This place was so fun to be at! The cashier was super friendly and willing to answer all of our questions about the selection. I felt that he was super knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We had the Druid's flat bread- super tasty and good to share. Our party played a couple of the board games they had and throughly enjoyed ourselves here. Can't wait to come back! read more

There was a little bit of confusion getting into Natural 20 going off of the Google hours posted for them and their actual hours so we had to be patient and return later to try their beer. And I'm glad we did go back! We were doing a "shopping spree " of the Spokane area buying bottles, cans, samples and having a pint or two along the way of breweries we never visited before. The very first beer we had and my favorite out of the three we purchased was the Serious Gourmet Sh!t White Stout. It was a stout on nitro and already highly unique because you don't see white stouts much at all. It was very similar to having a caramel macchiato as it had the caramel, coffee and vanilla notes to it. So terribly good! We got two other beers to go. The Khazad was a Scottish Ale which was pretty solid. Not super strong with the scotch aspect but I don't see that very often with scotch ales but that's my usual preferred route for that beer is to have a very strong one. The next one was Natural 20's Rye ale. Now that one I really liked a lot as it did have a bready flavor balanced with that rye bitterness a good version of this beet should have. But after all that my experience with Natural 20 didn't come to an end. I spotted a great looking Natural 20 gray hoodie that a staff member had with a dragon on it. I usually know and have learned to inquire about the swag if I'm not a frequent customer but we still had many stops to go and I let it go. My fondness for this hoodie grew and was hoping it was shipable and not discontinued (to my credit I did not see the hoodie with the t shirts that they had out so I thought it may have been a discontinued design) and the owners replied saying they did have that very hoodie still, in my size and yes.... they could ship it to me! I was so delighted to have gotten it in the mail and really wanted to thank Natural 20 for going the extra mile to ship it to me. I normally pursue these things as I see them but I guess the pressure of numerous stops held me back but it all concluded on a positive note so five stars for Natural 20! read more

Poorly owned and operated business. First off thank you for the cook and the server that helped us this morning. I've never seen a cook work so hard. We showed up to natural 20 brewing for A Christmas Eve brunch that they were advertising. We made reservations for 8 of us. From the time we ordered to the time that we got our first item about 40 minutes passed. We eventually left the restaurant after an hour and a half and we ended up canceling two of our items because we never received them. As I spoke to the manger and she apologized for the troubles but it was always immediately followed by an excuse. "Well we're busier than we expected.... Well we are a beer first brewery and a food second brewery". So why would you advertise a Christmas Eve brunch knowing that you aren't able to deliver. Again we didn't show up out of nowhere we made reservations. Usually I sympathize with businesses because many things are out of the employees control. Come to find out as I'm talking to the manager she was actually the owner. As I watched the single chef and single bartender work their ass off she stood at a table talking to a guest. At first I assumed it was another unhappy customer.... No it was her mom. Her cook was behind the line holding back tears and she wanted to talk with her family. As we were closing up our tab I ask the bartender if the owner always stood by as her staff struggled. Her response was "sometimes she gets behind the bar". At this point another person that was sitting at a table with friends told us our meal would be taken care of. Come to find out this was another owner. I felt even more bad for the staff. They had not one but two owners who were doing absolutely nothing but watching their crew struggle. read more

My family wanted to support a small business for our Christmas Eve day lunch/dinner. We saw and advertisement for Brunch and made a reservation for 7 at 10:30. They ruined our family lunch and we left without three being served after 90 minutes. No ice, ran out of orange juice for advertised special. No ketchup for advertised tator tots. I was told we are a brewery. If you are not prepared for a Christmas brunch then dont advertise one. I asked the chef how much longer. dah. Remember 4 have been served and he hasn't even started our brunch for me and my wife. Yes I'M upset that the staff could not make things right for our table that has been their 90 minutes. I will always remember that " We are just a brewery" She could not understand why I was upset because we came because we saw an advertisement. read more

Amazing atmosphere, great bartender, great music selection. I like it a lot. I have played DnD since I was a mere child. The fact they used a reference for their logo/company name makes me happy DnD is being normalized. I love coming here they also have a great board game selection. I highly recommend their pretzels and specifically their "flying bison" ipa. It is the yummiest of ipas this side of Spokane. read more

Love the Floston Paradise. Perfect summer drink and we keep going back for more. This place is a fantastic selection of beers and it's hard to only try a couple. Natural 20 Brewing is one of the best Spokane Valley small breweries. They have a fun atmosphere that focuses on friends and family. They have tons of board games, and people under 21 are welcomed until 8pm. Our son LOVES their own brewed Root Beer. They have great flat breads, salads, chicken sandwiches, and their special sauces and homemade chips and fries are AMAZING! Along with growlers, you can even get cans of your favorite tap to go.
